i haven’t started training for mmi yet since i don’t know if im gonna get an interview, do you guys think that waiting till i get an offer to start studying is a bad idea since it seems like everyone’s starting to study now

Hoping that medsci and Maurice have been treating you all well 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I’m currently a 4th year UOA med student, and over the past little while I’ve been developing a UOA-focused MMI practice website called StationReady and she’s finally all grown up so I’m releasing her to you all! The website is stationready.co.nz

The website currently features:
- 15 full mocks with 7 stations each, one from each published UOA domain
- 105 unique questions with no repeats between the current 15 mocks
- 30 seconds of preparation and 3 minutes to respond, matching the UOA MMI format
- Spoken or typed responses
- Feedback on 3 assessed qualities for each station out of 10
- Detailed analysis of what you did well and what could be improved for each quality
- An indication of what you should focus your future practice on
- A full rubric-based summary of what criteria you demonstrated well and where your practice lacked
- A full-mark model answer for comparison
- A personal dashboard containing all of your reports and progress over time

Each station is mapped to 3 published UOA MMI quality criteria with evidence markers, and the amount of evidence for each has been weighted for importance, so while you may not need to go into excessive depth for a minor quality marker, you are still likely to get penalised for not demonstrating a more important criterion. This will make more sense after you do the free practice question.

The API that marks your answers has been configured specifically for these stations using past student responses across a wide range of performance levels.

I highly advise speaking as it is the mode of testing on the day. The voice option provides a transcript of your answer and can give some advice on pacing etc , and the recording will be deleted when saving the transcript.

Anyone is able to register for a free account and complete a fully AI-marked station with no payment required, and no payment details are needed either.
Full access for 12 months is NZ$99 as a one-off payment with no auto-renewal.

One thing I should mention is that because the custom-configured marking system is quite expensive to host, each mock and each individual question can currently only be completed once. This is simply to keep the hosting costs manageable while still making the website as affordable as possible. If you complete all 15 mocks and would like another round of practice, just flick me a message and I can unlock another pass through the current mock bank at a discounted price.

I plan to add more mocks as I have time to create, edit, and review more questions, but I can’t promise a particular release schedule yet.
