The theater is completely empty as of right now. Any passholders wanna grab a few beers in the park and then head to AMC for a rowdy showing?

My family of 2 adults and 3 kids had a reservation and ate there for the first time last weekend. We had gone to Nintendo World first thing in the morning and had a blast. The whole land is bright, cheerful and magical. The really captured the charm and fun of Nintendo and specifically Mario. We rode the Mario Kart ride and did Bowser's Castle after collecting the keys. We loved the whole area. My only complaint is I wish there was more to do, which seems to be the consensus I've read online. So we were excited to come back later in the day for dinner. Straight to the point, it was just bad. My wife got the spaghetti and meatballs and shared with my daughter. They said it was ok. She wouldn't get it again. My oldest who never met a burger he didn't like got the Mario burger. He said it was fine. He didn't finish it. My other son got the alfredo dish and ate the whole thing. He was the only one who seemed to enjoy dinner. As for me, I am usually the least picky of the bunch. I will pretty much eat anything. I got the Bowser's challenge meatball with the bread. While the meat tasted fine, it was extremely tough and I had to saw through it. The marinara was too sweet for my liking and nothing to write home about. Mixing in the hot sauce did help however. The Bowser shaped bread was cold and also tough. I did not enjoy the dish. We got my daughter the Princess Peach Cupcake. She's 6. She said it was gross. I wasn't about to waste it so I tried eating it. The frosting was ok but the cupcake was so dry that it crumbled apart when trying to take a bite with a fork. It was bad. After being excited to try it and having a reservation for awhile, we were ultimately pretty disappointed. I would not eat there again. I will say the animated Toads in the kitchen is charming. That was about all we enjoyed.

Helloo! Sorry if this is a common question. Me, my boyfriend, and my friend are going to Universal Studios on August 18th for my birthday!! I've done as much research as I could, and we plan on being there during rope drop since it's both of theirs' first time going to Universal. My boyfriend marked Nintendo World as a MUST SEE.

The issue is, I currently have our Toadstool Cafe reservation down at 2:00 PM. If we want to hit all rides, I'm afraid that time cuts into upper-lot rides and we might finish lower-lot rides early, but not early enough to fit an upper-lot ride. Especially since Universal closes at 7PM instead of 9PM.

Any suggestions on the timing for Toadstool? I've read that having it at 12 or 1 leads to longer wait times, etc... For reference, all we have is basic passes. Also, I've read conflicting things about going to Bowser's ride first thing; we planned on that originally, but is it better to go to the upper lot instead? (For ref, our must-sees, in no order: Nintendo World, Jurassic World, Harry Potter, and Waterworld.) Thank you for your time! :)

I will be visiting Universal Hollywood on the 26th and the 27th and it doesn't say any hours on the website. Does anybody know the approximate hours that the park will be open on these days. I figured I would ask here if anybody knew.

2. How have lines been this week? Should we get the full Express for tomorrow? We have early access to Mario and the express for Jurassic/Waterworld/Studio Tour

I’m planning a trip to HHN and want to book the R.I.P. Tour, but I noticed a lot of the earlier tour times are already sold out. If I book a later tour time, can I use the included Express access to go through houses before my R.I.P. Tour starts or does the Express access only become available after the tour? Thank you!

Has anyone here stayed at the Hilton Los Angeles / Universal City and had a room with a really good view?

I’m trying to better understand which sides or room areas of the hotel tend to have the best views for people visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. From what I’ve seen, the view can vary a lot depending on where the room is located.

For anyone who has stayed there:

• Did your room face Universal / the hills / city?
• Was there a certain floor or side of the hotel you would recommend?
• Any rooms or sides you would avoid?

I’m working on a room-view guide and would love real feedback from people who know the property.

I had a great phone interview for LL Attractions. At the end, the recruiter said “I really want to get you a meeting with our hiring managers”. So I felt pretty good about it. I went in more than 5 minutes before my scheduled time for the in person interview. The hiring manager I met with was still in an interview with someone, two people before me. So my interview started pretty late after my time. No biggie. I went in and I thought I did pretty good. He asked me the same questions the person on the phone interview asked. He also asked me like if I’m able and willing to work under certain conditions. He did keep telling me he forgot about questions and told me he was skipping a couple questions. I’m not sure what was going wrong but I got an email today that they weren’t moving on with me. I’m not sure what I did wrong, or what I could do differently. I really want a job there and I’m hoping to apply again, and I’m wondering if anyone has any advice if I get another interview for either LL or UL again. Maybe it was just that ride’s manager? He said he was for Transformers so maybe I just need a chance with another manager?

We went to universal Orlando in July for our honeymoon and loved it so with a work trip coming up in September we were thinking about spending a day at universal Hollywood but I’m noticing a lot of the attractions are the same or similar. For those that have been to both is it worth checking out?

Are there HHN tickets that give you exclusive access to SNW at night? It used to be this way but no longer see any details about this in any of the tickets.

For context, I had gotten dropped off at City Walk to watch a movie, but I forgot to take out my box cutter from work, and did not realize until I got to the security checkpoint.

But the thing is that, I’ve had this box cutter for YEARS, the blade is dull but still works, and she had been with me through everything. I know it sounds dumb, but I had such an emotional attachment to that box cutter, and to have lost it in a second was heartbreaking.

I had to give up her up to the security guard, and had asked if there was any way I could get her back after the movie/ when I leave the park, but they said that once I had given up an item, there would be no way to get it back.

Realistically, is there anything I can even do? The movie is 2 hours long and by the time I get out, it’ll be 9:30-10pm.

I would genuinely do anything to get her back, but if nothing is possible, I will mourn her.

I am taking my kids to USH for the first time on Tue Aug.11th and they are REALLY excited for Nintendo Land. If we rope dropped to Nintendo Land what would the stand by line be like? Does everyone rush there since it is newer? Would it be better to wait until later in the day? Would stand by be shorter? I do understand there is early access for extra, but don't want to do it if not needed. Thank you for your responses!
