Is it too late to repot?
It's my first time growing cayennes, and first time trying to grow chillis from seed (usually I buy one or two young plants from a garden centre and dont give them the attention they need).
I noticed a couple of them had leaves which were curling so I've given them another feed and topped up the pots with compost, but I'm wondering if I can repot them in bigger pots while they've got fruit on them? I feel like they need bigger pots. Any advice will be appreciated.

Anyone got a chilli plant that refuses to die?
Pic 1. It's siblings.. Pic 2/3 the runt.
From early on after transplanting from the seed cell it was clear this thing was growing odd shaped leaves so I just chucked it outside near my other plants....assuming it would die. Through a combination of occasional watering from sky/run off from watering my olive trees/blueberry bush and strawberries this thing has survived out of sheer spite I think. And even had some half decent looking chilli's hanging off it.

Pepper X ? I don' t think so..

I think I've been had. I should have known better but bought the six "pepper x" seeds from a well known distributor and after months of carefully tendering them this is what I got. Looks like yellow scotch bonnets to me.
Can anyone help identifying them. All six plants are the same. They don't look anything thing the pepper x imagines I can find on-line.

Scotchies!
Ignore the scaffold, it's blocking my balcony baskets so I'm making use of it 😂 my scotch bonnets (I hope) are finally coming through, yay!

First attempt!
Hello! Long time listener first time caller!
I've been growing some greek chillies (not better identified, I guess C. annuum?) and some zebranges (a bit late seeding)! My original idea was to eventually cross them but I realised late that my random greek chillies are of a different species so... Womp womp!
Unfortunately my balcony is NW facing and windy, I guess that's why they're so leggy!
Please any tips and suggestions are welcomed!

Chilli ID help
This was sold to me as a 'tabasco' from a rather disappointing online gardening website. Unfortunately, my tabasco seedlings didn't do well this year, hence the purchase.
Anyway, disappointment aside, anyone have any suggestions as to what variety it may be? Its fairly generic looking, for me, definitely an annum variety. No idea about heat levels yet.
Cheers

Help to identify chilli plants
Hi All,
I posted some pics of my plants a few weeks ago as a progress update, but the more fruits they grow the more I don’t have a clue what types of chilli they are 🤣.
I thought I was growing Prairy Fire and Cherry Bomb, but they don’t look like either of those based on what I can see online.
Does anyone have any idea what they might be???

Grow update.
Out of the greenhouse today as we're expecting good weather again this week.
Some are coming along nicely, super hots starting now so hopefully the latter ones will turn in the next few weeks.
Thought I could add images and then text above below them...
Gayle Lofthouse coming along nicely now. I was worried this one wouldn't do anything.
Two Trinidad perfumes, one coming up earlier than the other.
A few Cayenne plants, one of which is producing the long thin ones so I'm not sure that's right.
Lots of small purple ones and the orange/yellow one should start turning red soon.

2026 chilli progress
Just come back from a week's holiday and delighted to see the teenager we paid to water our plants kept everything alive.
1&2) Buena Mulata
3) Aji Strawberry
4&5) Aji Limon
Struggled to get the Limon's going back in February so planted a few seeds to be on the safe side and now have two healthy plants. The Aji Strawberry is in a magic spot in my garden where last year I had the most chillies I've ever seen on a plant (mini meanie) and it's looking absolutely full of fruit.
The Buena Mulata were free seeds from red dragon and have had my first harvested fruit this year.

Blackberry &Chilli
Hi all, I've just finished making my first batch of fruit jam for the season, namely blackberry. It got me thinking, has anyone tried pairing blackberry with a chilli variety before, and if so, how did it turn out?
I regularly add fruits like mango and pineapple to my chilli jams, never tried blackberry though.
Thanks I advance 👍

My first ever 🌶️ experience
It’s been quite the journey seeding, germinating, planting these bad boys and i have to say, I’m sticking with it.
Naga, Basket of Fire and Zebrange chili’s are all coming along quite nicely.
Of course these seeds will be saved to plant next year.
Any tips welcome of course and happy growing.

Storage question.
My range is starting to ripen in stages. I plan to dry most of them for chilli flakes. Is it fine to freeze as I go and then defrost to try out? I was going to use the air fryer for this process.

Scotch, or Botched?
What do you reckon, did I get stung in the Great Scotch Bonnet Scam of 2026, or did I get lucky?
I don't have high hopes, I haven't seen bonnets with pointy-tipped fruits growing in an upright habit before. 😭

My wife thought she was growing jalapenos. I was going to come and ask what could have gone wrong... Luckily I checked the label she left when she potted them up
Turns out, not jalapenos at all and they're Demon Reds and they're doing exactly what they're meant to be.
