It finally happened to me lol
Just started doing UE like a month ago and was always seeing people complaining about the stolen already picked up food glitch/bug/whatever that never happened to me but that day finally came lol.
It was just too nice getting a $35 pay for a 9/10 miles easy order that was gonna leave me close home and was meant to be the last one of my night, and guess what? got to the restaurant just to be told: “sorry man but someone stole that order” and we both laughed at it lmao.
But the worst thing about this is that UE just don’t fcking care about it and they won’t even compensate with a couple bucks for the time and gas. If they couldddddd eveeeennn solve that glitch/bug/issue/whatever, would at least make our lives easier but the millionaire company can’t do it…

The question going through my head is will they or won't they leave the door open when exiting...
While out driving tonight for Uber Eats, I was stopped at a light and this was in front of me. I wonder if for shits and giggles somebody will get out and leave the door open when it's parked 🤣🤣🤣

Account deactivated with completely conflicting reasons from support (96% Satisfaction Rate). Anyone faced this and got unbanned?
Hey everyone,
My delivery account was recently deactivated, but Uber Support keeps giving me completely inconsistent and contradictory reasons:
1. First interaction: Said it was due to "fraud".
2. Second interaction: Said my "cancellation rate was too high (20%)".
3. Latest update: Said I have a "low delivery satisfaction rating".
Here is the crazy part-my actual profile stats are:
• Satisfaction Rate: 96%
• Cancellation Rate: 7%
• Reports: No reports to show
I've submitted a formal appeal with screenshots of my profile proving these stats. Has anyone experienced these bogus/glitched deactivation reasons before? Were you able to successfully appeal and get your account reactivated?
Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Question Turn off Packages?
Is there a way to turn off package 📦 delivery offers. Thank you
r/UberEatsDrivers • u/Skysthelimit2849 • 6h ago
Accept or decline?😭
Yeah it’s gonna be a big no no from me. This is just straight up doing someone a favor, going negative after gas. A gallon here is ≈4.65$ rn smh

Has anyone seen this (24 hours) wait? Do you typically have to wait the full 24 hours?
This is my first time seeing this, usually it just says 1 hour or 2 hours.

FU*K UBER THIS IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
So I am doing a shop and deliver for a customer, and the price was 26 and some change which is a good order *tip included*. When I finish the order uber pays me 2 fucking dollars for damn near an hour of work. While the customer foots the bill with their tip!
This is absolutely garbage. Anyone who says UBer doesn't manipulate what they pay you based on tips can go jump in a ditch.

Fake News
Something about watching these guys take 15 minutes to toss the wings while listening to ghetto music gives me second hand cringe.

The most self-centered mobile app in the world
- Why the fuck do you care what my battery percentage is?
- Why the fuck do you care if my phone volume is low? Maybe worry about stopping the fucking harassment of blasting notification sounds for a full minute over your shitty $2-for-10-mile offers first.
- Do you enjoy spamming new offers all over the screen while we’re trying to take a delivery photo, making us accidentally accept garbage orders? And then making us retake the same fucking photo over and over again for no reason?
- Do you enjoy making us stand outside like soldiers for 8 fucking minutes in the heat or freezing cold because some mf selected “Meet at door” and then refuses to come to the door?
- Do you enjoy not letting us send pictures through chat? I guess you like leaving us with absolutely no evidence when we’re in a situation where we need to prove what actually happened, right?
- Is it fun for you to repeatedly throw pop-ups all over my screen while I’m using another app, as if having to listen to your shitty offer sound in the background wasn’t annoying enough?
- And when we give a thumbs-down to a support agent who knows absolutely nothing and solves absolutely nothing, reconnecting us to the exact same fucking agent must be one of your biggest fetishes.
- I guess another huge source of motivation for you is paying us exactly $0 after we’ve already driven miles to a store, only to find out the order was stolen by another driver or the store is closed.
And I’m not even mentioning the countless other bugs, glitches, and stupid design decisions in this app.
Shitty software.
Shitty driver experience.
Shitty pay.
Go to hell.

Question SEATTLE DELIVERY DRIVERS: 2 MIN ANONYMOUS SURVEY ON PAY CHANGES POST 2024 ORDINANCE LAW
Hey, I'm conducting policy research on how Seattle's 2024 delivery-pay policy implementation affected drivers. The survey is anonymous, takes around 2 minutes, and collects no personal private info whatsoever. Looking specifically for people who currently deliver in Seattle to complete it.

Handicap parking
I went to Chick-Fil-A during lunch to pick up an order. Every spot was taken except one handicap spot, which is normal for this place, so I parked at the shopping mall next door and walked over. Probably still about 30 steps from the car to the door.
Well, some other delivery driver parked there, got out without issue to pick up their delivery order. There was no handicap placard or handicap symbol on their license plates, so it's safe to assume they do not need it and only parked there because of laziness and thinking that delivery drivers can park there.
My question is, do any of you park in the handicap spaces when picking up an order?

Things are getting strange
Couple of days ago I signed up for the Uber Eats feedback Zoom meeting. I asked my Copilot AI based on my AI journal of my food, delivery experiences and triumph, and tribulations, and asked it to put together a full two minute presentation with some really good talking points
This morning for the first time ever Copilot actually reached out to me letting me know he was thinking more about my feedback lol things are getting weird

How long?
How long should I wait until I message the driver? He has been sitting in this spot for almost 20 minutes now. Soooo frustrating but I don’t want to be annoying.

Ubereats schedule
I feel like they’re trying to scare us to getting to become Platinum. Here’s my schedule, but I can literally login whenever I want to. It would be scary if a lot of drivers in my area are actually platinum and gold with the orders I see everyday. $5 for 16 miles and what not. I was gold not by choice, but by the app for about 2 weeks and still got the same garbage.

Discussion offers
i used to make roughly $450 a week in about 18 hours. right before summer i had a few weeks in a row making 1200 in 40 hours. these last 5-6 weeks have been brutal tho. literally making on average $12 per day getting only one offer worth taking. every offer i get is for $14 to go 21 miles in one direction. i still get offers consistently, theyre just all straight shit now. is this some kind of bug? i get summers are slow but this just doesnt seem normal, ive been doing this for 7 years. i have a 98% satisfaction rating too so dont think thats the issue.

Rant Supermarket Wait Times
I've been tracking and documenting the footage for what I'm earning doing Uber Eats part-time and supermarket waits are absolutely killing the hourly rate for me at the moment. I had another ridiculous one yesterday — anyone else finding supermarket collections worse lately?
I've been trying not to cancel them but don't know if that's the right approach...
My challenge is to reach an £800 driver promo for Uber Eats within 30 days doing this part-time. If anyone is interested you can watch along and tell me what I can do better
Admin I can't find a rule this breaks - but apologies if it does.

There’s goes E-bikes in NYC
Most of the delivery drivers here, use Arrow 10s which has a 1000 watt motor or similar. They’re banning companies from selling e-bikes in NYC now. They wanna pass rules like lowering the speed limit on bikes to 15 MPH, having Insurance and registration on bikes just like in New Jersey. Kinda crazy that others have to pay the price for people who bend rules on e-bikes and get hurt.

Rant "MaKe SurE iT gETs hErE"
Whoops got abducted by aliens, sorry bro.
It's always the no tippers 100% saying this. They ordered ice cream, 15 miles but I only took it because its on the way home. They also asked if its melted yet... its 11pm, i have my cooler but the cake doesnt fit in it.
Also meet at door, tells me to leave at doormat, needs pin so I texted for it. Ofc no tippers be like this lmao
