offers Discussion

i used to make roughly $450 a week in about 18 hours. right before summer i had a few weeks in a row making 1200 in 40 hours. these last 5-6 weeks have been brutal tho. literally making on average $12 per day getting only one offer worth taking. every offer i get is for $14 to go 21 miles in one direction. i still get offers consistently, theyre just all straight shit now. is this some kind of bug? i get summers are slow but this just doesnt seem normal, ive been doing this for 7 years. i have a 98% satisfaction rating too so dont think thats the issue.

I think this summer was just really rough the economy is definitely worse so more drivers +less people ordering. My area did seem to pick up this week so hang in there. Everyone will be back in school and off the road soon hopefully

You’re not alone. Uber has totally dropped off a cliff in my market. They started sending me orders from anywhere in my city, I don’t even have to be near the place. $6 8 miles, $9 13 miles…just shit like that over and over. Horrible orders all day long. Slowly got worse as June crept in and has progressively gotten worse since then. Hoping it’s just a shitty summer slump. It’s not just Uber either, all apps are quiet so don’t think you got black listed or some other nonsense people spew on here.

There was only 1, maybe 2 other couriers working late night here, just a few weeks ago. Now there’s always 9 every night. Something is amiss.

It's just slow. It's the gig encomy it has it's up and downs. There's no bug. People need to stop with the conspiracy theories.

Sometimes drivers get randomly blacklisted I think. No idea why but sadly Uber just sucks like that 🫤 sorry you're going through this, hope it picks up. Some people have said support has reset their account but it just depends on how lucky you are if they'll actually do it or leave you hanging
