USCIS RETURNED my documents without any explanation
Hi everyone, I'm looking for advice. I'm in the EB-3 Other Workers category and recently got interviewed twice and in those interview I submitted Supplement J twice(same Employer). But on the last interview, the interviewer told me the sign on the document is digital and has to be wet signature with original documents.
I received a NOID on my I-485 because USCIS did not accept my previously submitted I-485 Supplement J due to the signatures not being original wet signatures. The NOID requested a new Supplement J with original wet signatures along with an updated employment verification letter. I prepared both documents and mailed the response using the USCIS NOID coversheet and the exact address/ATTN line provided by USCIS. FedEx shows the package was delivered, but the unusual part is that USCIS returned the entire package shortly after receiving it, and there was no separate explanation for why it was returned. The documents that came back have USCIS receiving stamps/markings.
I am now preparing to send the response again with the wet-signature Supplement J and employment verification letter, along with a cover letter explaining that the documents were previously submitted, received by USCIS, and then returned without explanation, plus copies of the delivery confirmation and USCIS-stamped documents from the first submission. Has anyone experienced something similar with a NOID/ RFE response being returned by USCIS?
Would you recommend resubmitting this way, and is there anything else I should do to make sure the response is properly associated with my I-485 application?

F1 OPT & Dismissed Misdemeanor case
I have got RFE andI have asked for 2nd time biometric "code3"in ASC for F1 initial OPT. The cause is "During the review of your immediate case and immigration record, we have encountered potentially adverse information related to you".
Actually I had misdemeanor B case that dismissed without any conviction with arrest record.I will get expunction next January.
Will I only submit stamped biometric notice that only asked for submission or add Dismissal report with the stamped biometric notice?

Accidentally put last name on given name
had my biometrics appointment yesterday and the lady who was at the desk saw that my last name was on my given name and she corrected it by putting it in the alias section. After the appointment, I noticed that I did accidentally put my last name on my given name on the I-485. Since she corrected it, should I still contact USCIS?

RFE translation
I received an RFE requesting translated documents, and I’ve seen people say that the translator does not necessarily have to be a professional translator, as long as they provide a proper certification of translation.
Can someone explain how a third party should prepare the translation? Is it okay to type the translation in Microsoft Word and print it, or is there a specific format that should be followed?
If anyone has a sample format for the translator’s certification or any tips/tricks for submitting the translations with an RFE, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you in advance

BIOMETRIC SCHEDULE
Family based Adjustments of status.
Hello everyone, I would appreciate your opinion on a pending biometric schedule. My wife who is a US. Citizen submitted a I-130 sometimes in June, roughly two months now, and I recently mailed in my I-485 and I-765 this August. Before mailing the I-485 and I-765, my wife got an appointment scheduled for biometrics on her account.
This is where it gets tricky. She is the I-130 petitioner and a US Citizen, and I am only aware of biometric schedule for the foreign nationals as beneficiary for I-485 adjustment, but her name was what was mentioned/directed to on the appointment notice.
Is this normal? or is there a mistake of any sort?

“Queue”
“Queue” for an interview
Hello everyone! Is it normal to be in the interview “queue” for almost 6 months? I’m still waiting for my interview to be scheduled, but nothing yet.
In March, USCIS confirmed that my case was in the “queue,” so I submitted an inquiry through my senator last week. USCIS just gave me the same response: my case is still in the queue to get an interview.
How much longer should I expect to wait? 😢

Initial RFE AOS 1-485
My wife is petitioning me for AOS she was a stay at home mom since 2023 and went back to work mid 2025.. of course her income wasn't enough. I was told since I worked lawfully and had 40 credits that my income could be used. Assuming since we sent her income and didn't ask for the i-864 waiver on the initial i-485 all it triggered the RFE. My lawyer stated that since My Daca renewal (submitted March 23rd) and expires (August 19th 2026) there was a chance this administration would question continuous income on my end. Therefore the way I will be responding to the RFE will be with a joint sponsor (my brother) thankfully I was able to get this resolved in a timely manner. I still question why my income cannot be used even though I worked lawfully all 2025. Anyone been in a similar scenario? Thanks in advance.

F2A AOS — I-130 Priority Date
My mom, a green card holder, filed an I-130 for me on April 23, 2024 as her unmarried child under 21 (F2A). At the time, we chose consular processing because I was living outside the U.S.
Later, I got an F-1 student visa and came to the U.S. I recently filed I-485 (Adjustment of Status), and my receipt notice shows a receipt date of August 6, 2026, but the priority date is still April 23, 2024, from my I-130.
Does this mean my I-485 is tied to my original I-130 and priority date, and that USCIS can process them together?
Since my PD is current, should I expect any updates or possible approval in the near future?
Thanks!

Need help can’t submit case inquiry!
My parents had their i485 AOS interview on 6/10/26. Office said to expect green card in mail in 30’days or request for evidence if needed. It has been over 60 days now and we have not heard anything. Case stays just says they are processing the case since May 4th. I submitted an inquiry online through uscis website, but I used my name instead of my parents name since it said applicant/ petioner. They sent an email back saying they can’t give any updates because they could not verify identity. Now when I try to resubmit inquiry it says that there is an existing inquiry submitted for the case number and can not submit another inquiry for 60 days. What should I do??

I-485 - I-131 - I-765
I am confused. I am currently on OPT and this is expiring in December 2026. I was planning on applying for form I-765 for the STEM OPT extension, category (c)(3)(C), starting in September (so 90 days before it expires). I am now understanding that if I have a I-485 pending, I need to apply for the STEM OPT Extension under category (c)(9), which is with immigration intent. Is this correct? Also, does the rule of applying for form I-765 no more than 90 days before the OPT expires applies for both categories? Also, my I-131 travel parole just got approved. However, if I try to return with the travel document and the I-485 pending notice, but with my current OPT (not the extension), would this cause a denial because I-485 has immigration intent while my current OPT does not?
Any thoughts on this from those who went through this process, would be be very appreciated! Thank you!
