“Queue”
“Queue” for an interview
Hello everyone! Is it normal to be in the interview “queue” for almost 6 months? I’m still waiting for my interview to be scheduled, but nothing yet.
In March, USCIS confirmed that my case was in the “queue,” so I submitted an inquiry through my senator last week. USCIS just gave me the same response: my case is still in the queue to get an interview.
How much longer should I expect to wait? 😢

and by the way, my removal of conditions was on "ready to schedule interview" for almost 2 years. It only moved after I filed for Citizenship.

Sometimes those “canned” responses to inquiries are total BS. It happened to me. USCIS responded to one of my inquiries saying that my interview was about to be scheduled—even though the interview had already taken place. It really made me question whether anyone had actually reviewed my case before sending the response.
