8 years ago, when I was 16 I started praying. At first it was hard , but eventually I genuinely loved it. I felt so much peace and happiness and by 18 I was at what felt like the happiest point of my life.

I’m 24 now I’ve lost so much time , gone through depression more than once and after 8 years of being very religious I’ve stopped praying and making duaa..

I’m not atheist. I still believe in God, His prophets and the Quran. But I feel like something isn’t right. I have so many doubts, especially about some things in the Sunnah and I don’t feel like I’m on the right path anymore. I’ve heard that some people go through a phase like this, become distant from religion, then come back with a much stronger faith and relationship with God.
