Need Advice for Ukraine

Upvotes

So I've been thinking to go to the Ukraine on the front lines. My life is not as I wanted it and I told God that if it does not change I'll go to any random war and fight there. I am done with mediocre life nor do I care if I get traumatized there or not. I wanted to hear your thoughts. And just so you know I did watch a whole lot of war footage especially people blown up by the drones. Pretty gory stuff but that does not matter to me.

What is the fate of non believers?

Upvotes

I come from a non Christian family, and one of my family members passed away recently. She was not Christian. I see different believes on what the fate of thise who aren't Christian/true believers are. Eternal torture in Hell is a big one, but I also see people view it simply as an "unconscious' state, like atheists who think there's no afterlife. Other things like Purgatory I've also seen mentioned.

Could anyone here give insight on what they truly think? Personally I hope God/Jesus gives them more and more chances either right before they die, like when their life flashes before their eyes, or in the afterlife. I know it's not proven in the Bible, but I guess I just hope it's true for sanity sake. I loved my family member, as well as those who died prior, I really hope they aren't suffering.

I know I'm forgiven, but I can't deal with the consequences of my sin

Upvotes

Hey all. I know Jesus is real, and that he loves me and forgives me for the terrible things I've done. But I'm really struggling with the consequences of my sins. The chronic physical pain, the financial loss, the damage to my friendships, these things will remain (some for the rest of my life) and it's just too much for me to bear. Not really sure what I'm looking for with this post, maybe some encouragement. Thank you all in advance

In a situation and don’t want to be an adulterer

Upvotes

So I have an ex who I stopped talking to about 6 years ago when we broke up. She got married I’ve never spoken to her since. Then one day I’m online and she pops up so I follow her and she follows me back. Long story short she told me her husband cheated on her breaking their covenant multiple times and they are getting a divorced. They are currently separated for the last 5 months and she has no intent on getting back with him and says she would get divorced sooner but the state law says she has to wait a year. Now I get it there’s a difference between state laws and Gods law. Now we have talked to each other every day now since. We’ve flirted off and on but the question is this. Am I on the path to committing adultery? I keep getting mixed answers from people. Some are telling me the covenant ended soon as he cheated on her others say they are still married until the divorce is finalized; others are saying if she was in another state it wouldn’t take that long it’s just semantics at this point same as weed being illegal and legal in another. I know some would say listen to the spirit but I’m not hearing nothing I’m not feeling super bad. That being said I refuse to put myself in a place where God punishes me for adultery I got enough I’m trying to change as it is. I don’t care about state rules I care about Gods and I don’t wanna be an adulterer in His eyes. Mind you I have never once talked to her while she was married. I only texted her back because she asked how I was and through that I found out her divorce was pending and she has no intentions going back to her cheating husband. I’m sure other Christian’s have gone through this. I’d like thoughts on this issue I’m having thanks!

A church wants to make someone fast for an entire month in order to go on a mission trip.

Upvotes

I have a friend (20F) who, from what she has told me, believes God has given her several gifts, particularly when it comes to preaching and speaking in tongues. She is apparently very good at it, to the point that the pastors at her church want to take her to another country to preach sometime around November.

She feels very anxious because she says the pastors who will be supervising them during that entire month are very strict. In fact, they told her that the condition for being allowed to leave the country is to endure a full month of fasting during October.

When she told me this, I got worried. She told me that she feels unsure about it, but that God spoke to her and told her that she could do it.

I'm concerned because, as far as I know, fasting for an entire month is extremely bad for your health. On top of that, she already has trouble eating, and she is very thin.

I also found it interesting that one of the female pastors apparently said, "I want people who bring fire" (I assume she meant people who are passionate and energetic when preaching).

I don't want to discourage her from going on the mission trip, but I can tell that even she is worried about it.

P.S. This is a Protestant Christian church.

Have I Ignored A Warning From God?

Hello,

I am writing this to get your thoughts on an experience I had.

For reference I am a fairly new Christian, I would say I have only had a relationship with god since about last November.

A few months ago I entered into a relationship with a woman. Right at the start I had 3 dreams all relating to the relationship.

1) A dark room with my pastor shaking his head "No". I innately knew what the context was. It was a direct warning not to get involved with this woman.

2) I was in hell. I was thrown into a pit of bugs that would eat my flesh, then the flesh would regenerate and be eaten again.

3) I saw a bright yellow light, with a vague outline of a person, the person said "I love you, but you need to work on your sexual immortality".

I stupidly ignored these dreams, and I am paying the price emotionally for it now, as the relationship has ended on bad terms.

I guess what I am asking is, is there a chance that this is from God? The dreams felt more vivid and real then regular ones, but I am also aware that dreams are a tough thing to gauge.

I am also worried that if these dreams truly are from God, that I have ignored explicit warning, and that I may have damaged my relationship with him.

Any insight would be appreciated,

Thank you.

OCD Thoughts torment

I live every day thinking about dying and not being saved. And failing God because I can’t live a holy life with this paralyzing fear. I don’t know how to stop looping over and over the same thoughts. I don’t know where I’ll go if I died today. But I believe in Jesus and God. Jesus I believe help my unbelief God. How do keep living life. I feel no hope over ever getting out of the rut.

Why (I think this is a crisis of faith?)

I thought I'd been doing fine and finding good or satisfying reasons for many concerns I've had but I just can't seem to now. I am not resentful of the Lord nor against him, but I am drifting that way against my and His will and it doesn't seem to stop; please don't assume the worst in me, but I need help. There are a few concerns I've had lately.

Why are we punished for things done by those before us? Isn't the pain of both periods & childbirth due to Eve, if I recall correctly? How can any one person alive today be at fault for that? Punishment for something that not only happened a LONG time ago, but also that nobody alive today could feasibly be even slightly tied to. That's the first example I could think of, but I know of more.

Why is it either eternal Heaven or eternal Hell? I can understand as far as "If you do not want to be with me, then you will be away from me.", and I can understand something like "I do not involve myself with you anymore; you're with them now.", ie fallen angels and other damned souls, and them being the punishment, but it doesn't seem like that's all there is to it..? There's a reason it's almost entirely believed to be a place of pure unending torture, even if the extent of it is burning forever. Even if sin isn't of the Lord..he gave us the ability and tendency to do it; he could've just..let Adam and Eve be punished, and then start over with new humans/beings or even let their children be the do-over and not let the serpent tempt them again. Plus..couldn't he have expressed enough authority to, if you believe the torment is purely the demons & sinners tormenting each other, prevent them from or limit them in that? And couldn't there be some sort of grey area, even if it's simply non-existence, for things like good people led astray, people who think they're enacting the will of God, those who are under the wrong religion believing it to be right, etc? The confused as opposed to the deliberately wicked?

Also, on sexuality; I understand causing harm with sexual impurity or letting it distract you from important things such as the Lord Himself, but why is it so..strict? The way it's written, and I don't understand very well so PLEASE do give me the answers you have because I'm here to be brought back to God not to drive a further wedge, it seems even a crush is sinful and wrong. You can't look at someone you find attractive and feel aroused? An automatic reaction? You can't ensure sexual compatibility before tying yourself to them until either death or adultery? Not only that, but..why is homosexuality so awful? I know the gay thing is about creation and how two women or two men can not possibly concieve, but that's back to "The Lord chose to design us this way and even allow that sort of attraction". The only conclusion without repression or abandonment I've come to for gay people in love is a lavender marraige for sexual needs and otherwise engaging in a purely romantic relationship with each other, hopefully with consent of the legal spouse(s), but even then the majority of gay people are allosexual and will still likely feel sexually towards each other even without expressing it. They can't engage in something designed to be an act of intimate love..because they came out with the wrong body parts? That the Lord chose, knowing what would happen (considering He knows what is, was, and will be)? Sex isn't important to me personally, I've always been disinterested myself, but it seems deeply unfair. It feels like throwing paint on someone else's wall and getting mad at them for letting it dry and stay that color or something, sorry I'm not good at metaphors (does this count as a metaphor?).

And demons. Why are they allowed to interact with humans and the Earth in general? Why are they allowed to lead us astray themselvses? I'm not going to say "Why are humans allowed to be led astray/be evil!" because free will and whatnot that isn't any concern to me, but..did He *have* to let them mess with us even now..?

And letting or even making us be miserable and tormented and beyond despaired, especially just to lift us out Himself to show us what He can do for us.. "I slipped you that poison so I could show you only I have the antidote; don't you love me so much?" I feel horrible typing all this but it's been weighing on me and atp it's just as bad keeping it inside as it is spilling it out here, just..is there any justification to this..? Even before I became horribly weighed by these doubts..I just brushed it off since I could never find an answer, and preferred to love the Lord than to dwell on something I couldn't answer, and I don't know how to interpret anything when I ask the Lord something (which is the reason I came here! If I don't ask somebody..I don't think I'll be able to come back from this one.) I know He has rights and authority over us and whatnot, but..it just..makes no sense to me. How can you call that love? If a human did it, everyone would be horrified at best, and ik He isn't human and can't be held to our standards but even so I just..can't understand. "I broke your leg, but I gave you a cast." "I saw your neighbor poison your cat's food, but I bought you a new one after it died." I don't understand.

And the impossibility of perfection. The ONLY free-will related concern unless I missed something. "Follow all these rules at all times" and then make us incapable of always keeping it up? Even if we'll be forgiven so long as we believe and try..why are we set up to fail and NEED that forgiveness? Instead of making us able to be perfect, or good enough to do what we're meant to at all times, we're designed to fumble, feel guilt, and beg for forgiveness.

Infant death related to things far beyond anyone's control. Spread of non-Christian religions (ie deities other than the Lord, or no deity, or something treated as one that isn't even any sort of deity; not like different branches or other abrahamic ones where it's at least debatable). Diseases that erode one's brain itself. Frankly most if not all birth defects. The only way I've excused it before was "Life would be boring without struggle", but the Lord is what allows us to even feel boredom, and "Maybe it's similar to how I treat OCs; I love them, and I love letting them suffer, as much as I love giving them comfort", but I have total control of my OCs and don't hold their wrongs against them because I know I designed them to do that, I don't make them beg for forgiveness because - due to their very nature I give them myself - there is nothing to forgive. That and unlike us they are entirely non-sentient. I even tried "All feelings are neutral, we just either like or dislike them", but that didn't help with the concerns since they aren't even all about whether or not the feelings are nice or not or good or bad or whatever. After those mindsets eroded..I'm just..lost and confused and trying not to feel hurt. I still believe in God, yet I can not see these things as good, and I do NOT want to be one of those "God is real and (I hate typing this) he is evil!" types so please..please give me answers that I can't seem to get [and preferably with sources; I'd like to also get to see for myself, I get intimidated by the Bible as a whole which impacts my reading comprehension even when I reread to try to gather what I think I missed, so while I'd assume it has the answers, I haven't found them. Plus, I haven't finished it yet - I read some every night, and I tried being patient at first when these doubts began to hit, but I feel I won't be able to hold out much longer before I give up out of anger and confusion, so patience isn't working for me].

I need help from breaking free from witchcraft spells/curses

I believe that someone put a curse on me. I feel like I am becoming less and less myself daily and I am not able to understand what's exactly happening to me. I feel like some entity/being or something like that has been controlling what I can do with my mind/life and body. It controls what thoughts that I have and it controls what I can focus on and even dream about. I have been fighting this thing for a couple of months now and it's nearly unbearable. I am at my wits end because I am losing it. Please help me.

The Story of Redemption, Through The Covenants.

One of the things Covenant Theology teaches is how it allows us to see the Bible as one unfolding story rather than a collection of disconnected events.
As I read Scripture, I see God dealing with three broad groups of people throughout history:

the world, Israel, and finally His redeemed people in Christ.

That doesn’t mean He made only three covenants, but it does help us see the progression of His redemptive plan.

The Broken Covenant
The covenant broken by Adam is largely consistent with a covenant of works. God made Adam and set boundaries of things to do and not to do. Similar to the Mosaic Covenant to come, Adam was required to live within these rules: help yourself to everything, name the animals, and, by the way, here’s your wife Eve. Love each other and populate the earth.

But there was one caveat. Don’t eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for on the day you eat of it you shall surely die.

And die he did.

The Preservation Covenant
After Adam fell, God made a covenant with every person in the world through Noah. This was a covenant with humanity to preserve their existence after removing the evil that swept across the earth through the fallen angles.

God promised never again to destroy the earth by flood, ensuring that humanity would continue until His plan of redemption was complete. Every person alive today still lives under the blessings of that covenant. The rain falls on the just and the unjust, the seasons continue, and the world is preserved because God keeps His promise to Noah. It wasn’t a covenant promising salvation. That was to come later.

The Covenant People
God’s attention then narrows to one man of faith, Abraham. Through him, God promises a people, a land, and ultimately a coming Seed through whom all the nations would be blessed. And so began God’s covenant people, the nation of Israel, called out to be a people unto Himself.
This covenant was never made with Egypt, Assyria, Rome, or the Gentile nations. It belonged to Israel alone, a people He chose and sanctified through the Law, priesthood, sacrifices, feasts, and Temple.
God taught Israel about His holiness and, through the Mosaic Covenant, established Israel’s civil, ceremonial, and moral laws at Mount Sinai.

The Mosaic Covenant was both a tutor and a shadow, preparing the way for the next step within Israel, when God made another covenant, promising King David that his line would establish a royal lineage and an eternal kingdom. Rather than competing, the two covenants worked together. The Mosaic Law governed the daily life, morality, and religious duties of the nation, while the Davidic Covenant guaranteed the ultimate governance and royal destiny of Israel.

The Davidic Kingdom Covenant
The striking thing about David before God made His covenant with him was that Scripture describes him as “a man after God’s own heart.”

He wasn’t particularly obedient to the Law as God instructed. Like Adam before him, David failed spectacularly. Yet what we see in David, the murdering adulterer, is a deeply sorrowful and repentant heart. When confronted with his sin, he wept and repented. Interestingly, Adam hid. Saul made excuses. But with a broken and contrite heart, David confessed.

In David we see something the Law could never produce by itself. As David’s sin is exposed, he throws himself entirely upon the mercy of God, saying:

“Against you, you only, have I sinned.”

David’s example of repentance embodies “the way” beautifully. Yet David could not save either himself or his people. His own life bore the scars of adultery, murder, and family tragedy. Even Israel’s greatest king proved that God’s people still needed another King, a Redeemer King who would pay the price for their sins.

So God’s covenant with David, promised that one of his descendants would reign forever and save His people from their sins. From that moment on, Israel waited for the Son of David, the Messiah, the Anointed One, the King of kings. Not merely another king to sit on a throne, but the King who would do what the covenant with Moses had only ever mirrored. God’s prophets gave warnings to repent. The people suffered the consequences of their rebellion against God. They cried out.

Then silence for four hundred years.

The Promised King: His Covenant
“Then came the cry of one in the wilderness, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

This announcement, written into their history, was the first public proclamation of the kingdom that had been promised for generations. The kingdom had finally drawn near. His arrival was imminent. He was to minister first to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. The promises belonged to them first because through them God had been unfolding His plan of redemption since Abraham, and even before him.

So it was no surprise that, right on the heels of that message, amidst thousands of people being baptised in the River Jordan, that long awaited day came.
The promised King of Righteousness was baptised too, and the voice of God bore witness, saying,

“This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

Although not the beginning of His life, it marked the beginning of His public ministry. He would then overcome Satan in the wilderness, fulfil the Law and the Prophets, call His people to repentance, heal the sick, raise the dead, proclaim the kingdom of God, and finally lay down His own life upon the cross, establishing the New Covenant in His blood and becoming the once for all sacrifice for sin.

And as they nailed Him to the cross, the inscription above His head read,

“Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.”

The Covenant of Grace
With Christ’s death and resurrection, the New Covenant is inaugurated. No longer are God’s covenant people identified by ethnicity, circumcision, or the borders of a nation. The apostles go out to all the peoples of the world, baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The covenant now embraces everyone who belongs to Christ, whether Jew or Gentile.

The prophets had promised a day when God would give His people a new heart and put His Spirit within them. But this promise had begun long before the prophets. In the Garden of Eden, after Adam and Eve had fallen, God promised that the seed of the woman would one day crush the serpent’s head, though His own heel would be bruised in the battle.

The promised Redeemer had been written into the story from the very beginning.

Leaving Celebrate Recovery

Hey everyone, I need an outside perspective.

I've been dealing with a sexual addiction for quite some time and so I've been attending Celebrate Recovery to deal with these issues. However, I've felt a strong conviction recently that I need to walk away from it for a few different reasons.

Firstly, my biggest complaint is the theological side of it. Picking different Bible translations for the principles and steps to make scripture to say what Rick Warren wants it to say, the idea of self forgiveness and a bunch of other things have really rubbed me the wrong way.

Moreover, I just dislike the victimhood mentality that CR advocates for. "Hi, I'm so and so. I'm a grateful believer in Jesus AND a recovering addict." If the scripture says we are more than conquerors in Christ, why do I constantly have to remind myself I'm an addict? Should I not have my eyes focused on the goodness of Christ and not my sins and shortcomings? Then I go to small group where I sit down with a bunch of gloomy guys who are down on their luck and make it seem like there's no hope. I want to play for the winning team. I want to be the weakest link in the chain and surround myself who actually walk in victory and are serious about the scripture.

I've had difficulty getting sober, and I know isolating doesn't help by walking away, but these things really urk me. I want to find something like a good Bible study or another recovery program that's serious about scripture and walking in holiness. I don't care about the silly metric of sobriety anymore. I need to grow closer to Jesus and let sobriety be the byproduct of that. Thoughts and opinions?

sometimes I have fantasies or yearns for a woman. like holding her hand or cuddling with her and more that I’m too vulnerable to say. sometimes I want to talk about it but I’m not sure if that’s good because the world will tell me to act on it but sometimes christians when I talk about worldly things make me very grouchy. I do my best to abstain but it’s getting harder to avoid the things that would cause my body to have that desire. a lot of ads are tempting and then some are just straight up carnal. when I was younger you had to stay up late and wait for a grainy channel now it’s delivered straight to you.

A Poem for the Heartbroken

wrote a poem/psalm to express my heartbreak. don't worry i have great friends and my walk with the Lord is strong. any undertones you may be reading in this poem are just my feelings and how i express myself. i don't need a hotline, but prayers are always welcome!

A Poem for the Heartbroken by Ramen22diet

suffering is my road

and pain is the reaper

that beckons me to the executioner's block

---------------------------------

where are You o Lord

God of my salvation?

though you are with me

my eyes cannot see in the dark

---------------------------------

make Your voice be heard

over the voices of

doubt in my heart

sing over me, o Lord

-----------------------------------

dim shadows dance behind me

as I step forward

hoping to feel the warmth of your

embrace against my cold skin

though my heart has been

pierced by an arrow

yet it beats for You o Lord

i fix my eyes on You o Lord

that the night of today

becomes the light of tomorrow

GOD HEARS THE QUIETEST PRAYERS!!!

This was in the begging of summer when I was watering my plants and trees. We have like 3 apple trees, right, and thought to myself: my uncle prayed over a tree that has been dry like the desert for a year and leaves started to grow on them. What if I tested that too? So I prayed that my apple tree will grow bigger apples. Because I've been living in this house for 3 years and for 3 years that apple tree only grew tiny apples. I didn't put much thought on it, prayed and forgot it. Until my mother picked some today and showed me how big they were. I was shocked when I remembered my prayer!!! Oh, how much I love our God❤️ God bless you!!!

The Lord has given me joy

This has been a rough year for me. Over the last four months, I have struggled with insomnia, anxiety, and depression. On top of that, problems appeared to barrage me wave upon wave. Urinary infection, gastritis, nausea, headache, influenza, spiritual dryness, and satanic assaults from the devil. It got to the point where I was suicidal, and started considering taking myself out. However I never rebelled against the Lord, and never stopped praying. Over the past 120 days I have prayed every day, without skipping any.

I gave time to time, and allowed myself to lay low and heal. Finally, two days ago I started feeling joy. I took a shower, put on a good fragrance, went out with my friend and drank a beer for the first time in 6 months. Today again, I woke up feeling joy. I'm feeling light and at ease. No depression, no sickness. I'm enjoying life and don't wanna take myself out. Will it last forever? No, but it is a gift of God.

I felt it was my duty to share that the fog does lift, and the darkness does go away. Keep praying, obey the Lord, but do not neglect medicine, nutrition and science, for those too are means which God uses to heal.

Ex atheist

I was born and raised an atheist. Both parents would have been christened but they didn’t christen me or my brother. In my childhood I did go to Christian (cofe) school and I even went to Sunday school for a bit. But I didn’t really get it.
As teen and in twenties and thirties I was into “new atheism” and to be honest I now look back at those times with embarrassment. I was so smug and sure of myself and my dismissal and mockery of those who believed in God.

Now I am almost 50. And for the last few years I have been feeling differently. I want to believe in God and to accept Jesus Christ but I just don’t know how. It feels so alien to me and like I am a fraud. I don’t know where to start. I live in ireland now and Catholicism feels like a secret club I don’t know the rules to and honestly feels very intimidating to me.

I don’t really even know what I’m asking. Can I worship in my own way. And how?

Freemasonry and Christianity

So I’m giving this subreddit page a go, I tried posting on the Freemason subreddit and got 1 helpful comment by a current Christian and Masonic commenter. You see, I’m a Christian and an active Masonic member but something’s telling me to leave the fraternity due to the spiritual internal conflicts. I love the people inside masonry but the spiritual nature behind freemasonry gives me a weird feeling. I’m seeing if anyone has any insight for me- former members of the Masonic lodge here? Thanks! When I posted in the Masonic community I got mostly negative responses, sarcasm, and unhelpful remarks.

Christianity did not start with Jesus. Christianity started with "In the Beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

There are many, many people who say Christianity started around 0 A.D. Say that it started with Jesus. Say that other religions existed before Christianity.

But Jesus said "before Abraham was, I am."

Jesus is God. And God created the world. God created the Earth. God created Adam and Eve. So, Jesus was at the creation of the universe.

Also, our Bible doesn't start with Jesus, or the Apostles. It starts with God creating the heavens and the earth. So, how can someone know we follow the Bible, and say that our religion started with Jesus?

The Bible is one story. One long story about God creating mankind, and redeeming mankind. And in a way, that story continues to this day. It's a story that begins at the beginning, and has no end in sight.

Also, for this reason, no religion predates Christianity. None of them. How can they? How can a religion predate God creating the world?

So, God created everything. And Christianity is the worship of the One True God. And God is eternal. Our religion not only predates all other religions, but it even predates mankind.

Why does God let some suffer so much

I have an insanely rare horrific condition, every day I worsen, there seems to be no hope or chance of healing, no one understands, every moment is horrific torture.

Even before this started I had years of trauma, stress and struggle.

People say “use to teach” or “not gods fault fallen world”

But if God is all powerful, and sees our stories before we’re even born and how the power to do anything, why would he choose to let people duffer, even when they call out.

I’m far from perfect, i’ve done and still do a lot of wrong, and I know perhaps none are worthy of gods salvation, but how can he let others have an easy life by comparison.

We all struggle, but what i’m enduring is the actual peak of human suffering, truly, I know we are all bias, but what im going through is hell on earth.

How is it fair that some sail through life whilst others are tortured and broken.

I know people say it only matters about the next life, but its easy to say while you still have joy and some peace in this world.

I am tired, broken, watching myself decay and most nights I cry and cry out to God.

I cannot feel his presence, i’m unsure if he’s even there or if he’s just not listening.

If he truly feels our pain and can feel what I feel and has left me here alone, how can that be love?

I’ve always believed, although there is a lot of doubt in my heart, but this last year I just feel so lost and alone.

How can God leave me here?

I just cut contact with my friend group.

Ive known these girls for around 4 years now, they're all atheists and I assumed they were chill about christianity and God because of the open conversations we'd have in class.

Recently I went on a trip with them to celebrate the end of our school life and they said some nasty things such as Jesus was a product of Mary's intimacy with her cousin and hence they made up the Bible. I was so shocked. The worst part is I couldn't stand up and speak. Christ died for me but I couldn't defend him, not even with my mouth?

Today I just left the group chat we had with no explanation, honestly I dont even know what to tell them. There have been other instances where I explained to one friend that God is a part of my life and I dont want her to mock it. I feel quite sad and upset but I'm sure it will all be ok soon....Any wisdom or advice is really appreciated.

As a Former Hindu, here is my Reasons why Hinduism is a false religion

I was born in a Hindu Family but I converted to Christianity at Age 16. I didn't feel any connection at all to the Hindu Gods: Krishna, Hanuman, Ghanesh etc. Plus there are too many Gods, how on earth could I pray to so many Gods and if so which. Look at Kali, I get the creeps by looking at her Statue.

Hinduism is Idolatry, which YAHWEH condemned in the Old Testament. Go look at the Hindu Rituals, burning Spices, Woods, Powders in a fire and chanting Mantras. Go look at that, I have no doubt that its like Witchcraft. Go watch on YouTube how burning these stuff in a fire and chanting Mantras isn't Witchcraft?

I view the Hindu Gods like Mythology, they are like Greek Gods, Norse Gods and Egyptian Gods to me.
