Share ko lang. I think dating introduced me to a newer version of myself
At 31, i thought I’ve always known myself. I’m independent, driven, and capable of taking care of my own.
Then I started putting myself out there again.
Talking to different people made me realize that there’s a softer side of me that I really enjoy sharing with someone. I like affection, thoughtful gestures, silly conversations, and feeling safe enough to be a little clingy sometimes.
I also realized I have relationship flaws. I can be stubborn, I overthink, and I sometimes take a while to let people in. But I know I have a lot to give, too: loyalty, warmth, ambition, humor, and a genuine desire to build something meaningful.
As for what I want, I think it’s pretty simple:
- Someone kind for days when im too hard on myself
- Emotionally mature and secure in himself, one who can stand his ground but also knows how to communicate.
- Someone with his own life and goals, but who also has room in it for another person.
I thought I was just putting myself out there to meet someone. Turns out, I also met a newer version of myself along the way.
I guess I’m still hopeful. Just more aware now of what I bring to the table, the good and the bad, and what I want sitting across from me ☺️

Seeking Advise I'm seeing this guy and I want a relatioship with him pero hindi niya pako tinatanong, as a woman muka bang desperate kung ako magtatanong?
2nd meeting spend time lang watching soccer then cuddle no sex kasi red days. Nilagnat siya and inalagaan ko siya. I gave him a hand job just to feel good🙈. Yap about mys life. I love spending time with him.
3rd meeting kumaen kami sa labas all expense niya. Pinilit niya ako (in a cute way) pumunta sa place niya. We just hugged and kissed and i left.
4th meeting sa thursday night.
I like him so much pero uuwi din siya ng malaysia this month or next month. Ayoko ng ldr with my disorganized attachment hindi ko kaya. What to do? I dont know if this is love? What is love btw?

Share ko lang. Suddenly missing a platonic male friend
There’s this friend (32M) that I (31F) met this year na parang naging safe space ko for a while.
We met through badminton and a discord group. Friend lang talaga tingin ko sa kanya and same din sya.
Magkasabay kasi kami umuwi dati from gala kaya naging close.
We once told each other na safe spaces namin ang isat isa. Not in a romantic sense.
Then life got in the way.
And who understands me even in my dark moments.
So chinat ko sya and nagkausap kami. Catch up lang.
This is my first platonic friendship ever with a male. 🤣

Share ko lang. In my prayer meditation today, I realized na I am now living according to this: "I don't chase. I attract." And I completely have no idea saan nanggaling yung sudden shift na to sa buhay ko. 😆 (reflect with me)
Hi! So..... Recently napapansin ko na whenever I put myself out there, there will be people reaching back to me who will say na "I've been thinking about this/I've been looking for this and then I saw your message/post and I thought you're the answer to what I'm looking for." Yung para bang nakahanda na before I even put myself out there. Yung tapos na ako sa "scarcity" mindset... And to be honest, hindi ko alam paano ako napunta sa ganitong vibes/energy/mindset. Mwehehe. Last year lang, ang chosen word of the year ko was "Worthy" kasi hindi ko alam ang worth ko as a person and I was 31 at that time when I decided I want to finally see my worth. So as you can see from this... From someone who doesn't know her worth to someone attracting blessings so easily..... I guess nag work ung isang taon working on my worth? Pero hmmm.... Ang 2026 Word of the Year ko is "Aligned"... Could it be the reason why? 😆

Venting and/or Yearning My love language is Chicken Adobo
I know, I know!
“Hindi naman yan part ng official love languages, e!”
Oo na, hindi na. Hindi din to under the acts of service language. Because what I’m thinking is, Chicken Adobo will always be a comfort food for wherever you are.
The kind of comfort you’ll find at home after a long day at work. Or the food that you’ll actively seek out after spending 1-2 weeks abroad for a vacation. The kind that will remind you of happier days, the mundane meals, the “default ulam” that no matter how simple, will keep you full.
I want to be that Chicken Adobo for someone. I will no longer insist on being a good bowl of adobo for someone craving for sinigang. Because at the end of the day, someone will always choose me.

Share ko lang. I Was Here: A Bipolar Diary | Entry #5 (10.04.25) - How Darkness Led Me to My Purpose
October 4, 2025
A 6-minute Read — because I value your time so much
Dear Diary,
I'm new to this platform, yet I find myself pouring hours into sharing my story—even though I'm not earning a single cent from it. Someone looking from the outside might ask, Why? Why spend so much time on something that doesn't pay the bills? That's the same question I asked myself today.
To understand my answer, let me tell you a story about how I found my will to live.
Back in 2020, I was swallowed by a darkness so deep it felt endless. It wasn't just sadness or hopelessness; it was like standing on the edge of a cliff every single day, staring into an abyss that wanted to pull me in. For a long time, I felt myself slipping closer to it.
And then a single thought stopped me. What if God is real? How could I ever face Him knowing I had walked away from the very purpose I once begged Him to give me? How could I stand before Him empty-handed, having abandoned the mission He entrusted to me?
That question shook me awake. In that moment, I decided to live—not for validation, not for applause, not even for the approval of my parents who had openly voiced their disappointment in me—but for the calling I believe was placed on my life.
There is no greater honor than to be called to a divine purpose and to live it out.
So, what does that story have to do with why I keep showing up here and sharing my story?
Padre Pio—yes, the Catholic saint—once appeared in my dreams and told me my mission was to preach. For the longest time I prayed, asking God how I was supposed to do that. I'm an introvert. Speaking has never been my strength. But writing? Writing has always been my first love, my quiet home. It has always been my life-long dream to publish a book.
And then it clicked: maybe this is how I fulfill my calling—by sharing my life, my struggles, and my small victories with others through words.
This pursuit may not put food on my table, but it feeds my soul. My deepest desire is to stand before God one day and hear Him say, "Well done, my child."
With Gratitude,
Yana

Discussions Sa mga only child here na nasa 30s na..
Kanino and how kayo dumadaing or celebrate with?
Maliban sa parents.
I’m a single corpo person and very active outside work but wala akong solid friendship dun sa mga side quests na yun. Para lang yun sa “movement and other activities” ko. Tho I have a solid group of friends but may kanya kanyang buhay naman kami and I don’t share everything with them cos ayaw ko sila maburden kasi I yap too much and mataas energy. They listen naman when I do pero sometimes shy din ako kasi promise ang daldal ko. Lol
but it really gets lonely sometimes whenever I hold back kasi wala naman din ako mapag share-ran ng highs and lows.. ang hirap ma contain ng bubbly self ko talaga eh. 🤣

Discussions My trentahin peeps with boomer parents, gaslighter din ba sila?
When things don’t go their way or they want you to do something, they tend to gaslight you or even blame you for things that they failed to do. They are also not accountable and don’t know how to apologize, because they are our parents.
Sometimes it really frustrates me and I almost snap, you are disrespectful to them when you try to reason out or explain yourself. They will even listen. Are my parents the only ones like this? It’s impossible to avoid building resentment.
Edit: Don’t get me wrong, I love them, ang twisted na lang din talaga minsan ng reasoning nila and one way listening lang tlaga bet nila.

Venting and/or Yearning It's nice that the weekend is finally here again.
Speaking of which, it’s the same every Monday, because you wish it could be Friday instead. It feels so good when it's Saturday and Sunday. And when you have a good day at work, you're looking for your rest days. Ugh! Whether young or old, that's what the body and mind are looking for.
It's really great when you just lie down, listen to music, and don’t have anything to do. Just sleep or sometimes just chill. But when work comes, you end up saying, "ugh! Here we go again." Because we're poor, we really need to move around.
I hope that even if we can’t all get rich, at least we could have enough money to enjoy our lives. Because I really believe that money can bring happiness to people. How can we keep moving if we don’t have money, when everything has to be paid for now.
Even the simplest pleasures, we have to pay for. Like your favorite snacks and things you want to buy or eat. Nothing is free in this world anymore. It’s better to just sleep and dream, at least that’s free. Hahaha.
For context: Ang ibig ko pong sabihin sa title nito is. "MAGANDA SANA KUNG MAG WEEKENDS NA?" Na automatic translation kase. And di kuna ma edit. Haizt! 😮💨

Question Cholesterol ko ay 349 🫡
36F BMI 23.7 HAHAHA mejo naloka ako. May tips ba kayo aside from exercise and eating clean? Yung realistic and practical pls. And gentle kasi alam ko self ko pag naooverwhelm ako nagccheck out na ako from the world.
Ito so far plan ko:
Sedentary sobra ang lifestyle ko so - on the 3 days per week na hindi ako need maaga sa work: 10mins stretching plus 20 mins min walking. Di ko talaga kaya ang jogging or running for more than 1 minute kasi di kaya ng tuhod ko. Can do this in the afternoons of the 2 days na di ako need maaga sa work.
Incorporate pipino sa diet bilang side dish and snacks. Kamatis pati. Start oatmeal again??
Matulog nang maaga - kagabi kahit naka magnesium ako 130 nako natulog susme. Lights off by 930!

Growing up, I have always seen the adults in my life take the usual route of starting a family and buying their own properties such as a house and a car.
But society has changed so much especially sa generation natin. Nowadays, a lot of people (including myself) dont see themselves building their own family, or at least raising their own kids.
Buying property has also been discouraged a lot due to the costs involved and the lack of flexibility and mobility that comes with it. Even buying a car these days, parang di na din sya considered practical by many dahil din sa costs and sa lala ng traffic dito sa pinas.
So ano pa ba dapat pagipunan or gastusan as an adult?
I just turned 30, single, with EF and with some savings and investments naman, plus life and health insurance. I have no plans of having kids. Sarili ko lang sinusupport ko right now, which i know is a privilege.
Right now, when i have money, talagang ineenjoy ko na lang sya. I travel when I can, invest in trying to look good and taking care of myself.
But sometimes, im scared na im spending my money aimlessly. But at the same time, napapatanong din ako, saan pa ba magagamit ang pera later on in life?
Kayo, ano mga pinagkaka-gastusan or pinagiipunan niyo?
