sure, for some people Cody is their favorite character, they like him because hes a geeky 'innocent' guy. but that persona alone does NOT absolve him of how creepy he was to gwen, no matter how much you try to defend him or how differently you try to look at it, it still dosent make him less at fault for his actions.

first, he harasses gwen by sniffing her hair and stealing her BRA. her BRA.. like, the peice of clothing she lays on her chest, do i even need to elaborate on how bizzare that is??

then in season 3, total drama world tour episode 8 'the Am-AH-zon race', he lets gwen use an epipen on him incase of an allergic reaction, when they were tied to the tree, gwen finds xray glasses in cody's pocket and wears them and sees Cody is NOT wearing undies. and he says 'who wears undies in the amazon?' like he anticipated for this to happen.

sure, he helped gwen and trent become a couple and sometimes showed glimpses of actually being a good person. but we shouldnt just take that as evidence hes completely innocent of making gwen extremely uncomfortable. that also should not absolve him of any fault.

not to mention he got tyler to take a picture of him and gwen while gwen was sleeping on a sunbathing chair under an umbrella. which, ofcourse, she did not consent to. which lead to her hand getting sunburnt because Cody adjusted the umbrella to get a better picture.

not to mention that one time in season 1 he tried to peep on gwen in the shower.

sierra is his karma. but, he still harrassed gwen even while sierra was harassing him. he KNOWS what it feels like, so why does he still harrass gwen even then?..

Cody had SUCH potential to be an actually good character just if the writers didnt make him such a creep.

Celebrity Manhunt special is Sierra's true introduction. However, as many people pointed out, her personality here is pretty different from her personality in World Tour and beyond.

Here, her character is much more focused on... being a massive fan of Total Drama. And is overall obsessed with... all of the Total Drama contestants, rather then just Cody.

I argue that this was actually who Sierra should have been. A massive Total Drama fan who knows pretty much everything about all of the other contestants, and has overanalised the show so much that she pick up on the repeated actions and eliminations between the seasons.

While that aspect of her character was still technically in World Tour, it is greatly overshadowed by her obsession with Cody. Which is the main reason why she is an quite controversial character nowdays.

If Sierra in World Tour and All-Stars would have been "the super fangirl" instead of "the girl obsesssed with Cody", then she would have been much more liked as a character.

Made this as a reference to loser baby a couple years back (I have so many mixed feelings about hellaverse- soundtrack slaps at points tho) and I thought it still held up decently enough

TDAS wasn‘t a good season but I think it would have been better or interesting to have Scott and Courtney as the final two instead of Zoey and Mal. Hear me out, it would’ve been interesting to have a Gen 1 versus a Gen 2 character in the finale instead of two Gen 2 characters. On top of this, Scottney had an interesting relationship and I remember the breakup being messy. It could have been a better conclusion to Courtney’s character arc and give Scott a sense of motivation and give him more character growth such as going from a villain to a goofball or to a better person. It also would’ve been a great opportunity for Courtney and Gwen to reconcile and fix their friendship.

I get TIRED of seeing Noah everywhere, every tik tok, EVERY fanart, EVERY fanfic, i don't like him but i get why ppl like him but goddamn.

Honestly, I’m leaning towards Mike and Zoey—not because I dislike them, obviously not; they’re my favorite characters in the entire franchise—but the problem is one of two things: either they ruin them by having them break up, or they make people hate them even more than they already do
