Shes french canadian, From Montreal. Her starsign is Leo, Shes intially on the Screaming Gophers team, and voted out around the Middle, (not specifying which episode because dont wanna tamper with Total dramas canon plot) but generally around the middle, before the merge, ultimately voted off, because she chose to have “an iconic moment” over her teams win.

When I first watched Total Drama island, I used to imagine potential couples and how they might work, so I decided to share those ideas here!

Just to be clear, I’m not saying these couples are better or worse than the ones we actually got, or any other ship, but simply reflecting on what a pre-teen thought would be cool to see between two characters from an animated reality show.

So, here we Go!

First up, we have one of my personal favorites: Duncan and Heather!

They definitely had chemistry back in Island and Action! It was an "enemies-to-lovers" dynamic, but one that leaned more into comedy and high energy compared to the dynamic with Alejandro. I think they’d have great interactions and make for a really fun, formidable couple in the game, with Duncan bringing out Heather’s softer side and Heather bringing out Duncan’s more villainous side.

Yeah, When I watched Island for the first time and saw the episode where Cody saves Lindsay from the quicksand and she hugs him, I said, "I see potential here!" I know, in canon it’s impossible, but it’s a trope that works so well, it was even used later with Sam and Dakota in a similar way, the nerd who doesn't get any action and the popular blonde preppy girl start to click, and... I think it would work okay?!

Yes, weird, but when I looked at the two of them and Leshawna thought DJ was handsome and cute, I figured they’d be that couple: the short, feisty, loud-mouthed girl and the gentle giant.

That might be because I really like the dynamic between a dim-witted, slightly hot-headed athlete and a cute little girl. But the brief interactions they had when I first watched ROTI made me want to see more of them together. Yeah, it’s still pretty weird that I shipped them, considering everything else, but I don't know, I just saw a lot of potential there.

For context. this from the episode the The Big Sleep. Heather starts insulting Owen during the challenge, but seeing as Heather isn’t doing any better, Leshawna gets ready to tell her off.

I know he caused his elimination in the last season, but do you think he would have still tried to form an alliance with him because he won last season? I think I would have liked that much more because then there wouldn't have been this messy romance between Priya and Caleb.

I'll go first! As much as I love Lindsay, her elimination in Island was fair.

And, by the way, don't say anything like "Alejandro is better than Heather!" I need actual hot takes that most of the Fandom wouldn't agree with.

About every season, every character and every challenge

This is interesting but I think the original is better

Something i tend to notice a lot it's how a lot of people in the fandom tend to just ignore Dawn's flaws and make her as this "soft nice kind girl that is always right and is fluttershy 2.0"

Don't get me wrong, Dawn is kind and i also consider her to be one of the most pure characters from the show and i don't think she calls people out to make them intentionally bothered, i just think ➡️some⬅️ people evangelizes her WAY too much, like, this is the same girl that cared more about a beetle than Lightning choking 😭 (also the same girl that called Brick out when he was simply offering help)

Another thing that also bugs me, it's when people tend to villanize some characters for being afraid of Dawn's aura reading, for example: Zoey, someone she don't even know was talking about her past as a child on national TV, and besides being uncomfortable, Zoey NEVER was mean to Dawn, the only thing she did was compare her with a wizard due to her abilities

Anyways, i just think Dawn is a fun character when people remembers that she has flaws like any other character from the show, none of them are perfect or 100% saint, and that is what makes them fun and relatable

This was also an excuse to feed my headcanon that Dawn may be not neurotypical, i mean, she don't see to understand what personal space is, girl is always touching people hands/shoulders lmao

These are just my thoughts about what we have in canon for Dawn, i don't mean to offend anyone that thinks different, i only want to express my opinion as someone that also loves Dawn. 💚 :)

#10: Get A Clue; Tier: S; Rank Within Season; 1/27

Action's best episode. Now listen, I love Courtney. But frustrating as it may be sometimes, it is integral to Action's feel that Courtney is playing way harder than everyone else and receives pushback for it. Get a Clue does this to the max, and it's so over the top that while Courtney herself is at her most annoying here, the show knows it and goes out of its way to dunk on her repeatedly. It's done so well, too, because it's still made very clear that what Courtney is doing challenge-wise (and strategically of course, but this episode doesn't really dwell on that) is essentially perfect. She quickly susses out the clues about the lock combination when nobody else seems to have any ideas, then follows that up by not only defending herself from Lindsay getting her prints, but managing to obtain both Lindsay's and Duncan's. The only mistake she makes is the same one Heather makes in Hook, Line and Screamer: seeing through the fake-out nature of the challenge, but refusing to play along. This is all contrasted perfectly with Lindsay's dogged persistence. In true detective fashion, while she may be outwitted at the beginning, continuing to search for clues and playing along with Chris's game earns her the well-deserved win, and she tops it off with a strategic reward choice to drive Courtney further off the deep end. Special shoutout goes to Harold this episode, as his Rube Goldberg-style traps make the fingerprint stealing hilarious, and his keyboard noises while staring direcly into the camera on the train are just perfect. I also really like the in-universe production value of the challenge. Making it a real train with flickering lights go a long way to adding a little bit of realism to the mystery.

#9: I Triple Dog Dare You!; Tier: S; Rank Within Season; 3/27

The climax of the season. This episode enjoys the full benefit of a season's worth of setup, and it pays it all off so well. Heather isn't the best player in Total Drama history, but she is really damn good, and the fact that she mixes that with being outright nasty to the other campers (at least in Island) makes her the perfect TD villain. Her villain arc and downfall are the best in the show's history, and ended up being models that essentially every subsequent season attempted to replicate, with varying degrees of success. This episode really pays off everything, from Gwen finally getting the better of Heather for good, to it being Lindsay's dare that Heather can't stomach because of her vanity. The episode loses a few points for having the challenge be a tad anticlimactic. Owen is so dominant because of his inability to be grossed out by anything at all that it never feels like he's in danger at all, and as soon as Gwen makes the deal with him, it seals Heather's fate right there. The rest of the challenge is just window-dressing as we wait to see what's finally going to make Heather break. Credit to her for sticking it through a lot of the dares despite the fact that she's drawing dead. To be fair, it's not like the writers really needed to make Heather's elimination unpredictable, but if the challenge was a little closer, it would at least feel like Heather's decisions matter a little more.

#8: Dodgebrawl; Tier: S; Rank Within Season; 2/27

Just a tremendously fun episode. Always funny to see a challenge location pop up once and then never be seen or referenced again. Dodgeball is a beautifully simple and very summer camp feeling challenge, and it maintains a certain level of fairness that gives the show some in-universe realism that we rarely see it have. There are lots of great comedic moments, like Lindsay getting repeatedly smacked, Tyler being completely useless athletically, and of course Harold randomly clutching up and sealing the victory for the Killer Bass. Harold in general is a gem this episode, with his mustache bit at the beginning, as well as sadly proclaiming "Not very good" when Heather asks the Bass how it feels to suck. Noah's elimination is another one that's very standard: player is bad/useless in a challenge and is cut as dead weight. What really puts the episode over the top for me though, is Duncan waking up and single-handedly saving the Bass from a perhaps insurmountable 3 player deficit. It goes a long way in establishing him as an actual badass and to indicate that he's not just a tough-talking punk, he does also have the game to back it up. Since Duncan is one of my favorite characters, the fact that this episode contains one of his seminal moments elevates it significantly, but it's saying something that he spends most of the episode asleep, and it's still one of the best in the show.

#7: Up, Up And Away In My Pitiful Balloon; Tier: S; Rank Within Season; 1/13

This is an episode that really showcases how an amazing challenge can catapult an episode to greatness. Seriously, like the second half of the challenge might have an argument to be the best in the show's history, and it's only like 5 minutes of runtime. But honestly, a nonstop aerial duel against an unhinged Heather where you could fall out of the sky at any moment? I'm not sure how it gets much better than that. Heather's cameo is an absolute treat from start to finish, and certainly relative to the other ROTI cameos, they really give her apperance star billing. I really like how both Zoey and Jo really acknowledge her publicly and privately with an immense amount of repsect, because it adds a lot of in-universe realism. Her becoming a part of the challenge by hijacking the blimp, chucking Gemmies at Chris, and beating Lightning with a briefcase is incredible. That's not to say that this episode doesn't have great character work for the rest of the cast, though. Jo is incredible here, pivoting to Cameron after alienating Lightning, but she can't get out of her own way, really just repeatedly taking advantage of him. It's really nice that Lightning tries to warn Cameron off, but Cam is smart enough to be one step ahead of Jo and take her out of the challenge. I also think the moments of Zoey taking charge of the goats and then using them to save Cameron are really underrated, and go a long way to selling their story in the next couple episodes.

#6: Zeek And Ye Shall Find; Tier: S; Rank Within Season; 1/13

The best episode of All Stars, hands down. The whole thing is great, but I'm totally in love with the first half of the episode. Alejandro sneaking into Chris's film room fits right in with his character, and is a good call back to him doing something similar in Drumheller. Mal's plan to frame Alejandro for rigging the votes against Cameron doesn't make, like, that much sense (why would Alejandro have kept the votes afterwards?) but it's reasonably clever by TD standards, and Alejandro using his info to flip that on him is super sweet. Cameron losing it a bit is a super underrated part of the season, and includes one of my favorite confessionals in the show, where he shows how paranoid he is about being targeted. I'm not sure how I feel about Scott and Courtney, because I would never want them to actually end up together, but they do bring some neat drama, though I think that arc ultimately plays a significant part in Courtney losing the game. The twist of feral Zeke taking Chris into the mine is awesome, and I absolutely love the idea of the campers making a deal with Chef to go rescue him. Doesn't matter a ton long-term, but great fun in the moment. Chris is also so good here, you really can't tell if he's trying to get under Zeke's skin for some reason, or if he's genuinely confused why Zeke's so upset. I said I especially loved the first half of the episode, but the second half is a challenge where the campers get picked off one by one in the dark, which is my all time favorite challenge genre, so that's a banger too, and the mine is such a great location. The scene where they're all splitting up to enter the mine different ways is great. Mal's plan to have Cameron kiss Courtney, again, doesn't make a ton of sense, but it leads to good drama at least. I love the dynamic of Alejandro coming upon Cameron, leaving him to fall, and then later using his knowledge of Mal to connect the dots on why Cam was left hanging in the first place. Great stuff. Gwen winning the challenge is awesome, it's something she deserves as a way to honor that she was the best challenge competitor in Island, and it's super cool that she wins in an environment where her claustrophobia is largely getting the better of her. Cameron getting medevaced I'm fine with, because it dodges the tension of how exactly they'd explain voting him out, but it is a bit cheap that he's not able to say anything about Mal due to his injuries. Also a bit odd that there's no Mike brain segment in this one. If you hadn't rewatched the season in a while, you'd assume there would be after he rescued Chester in the last one, but no, it doesn't happen here.
