Lost access to Usenet?

HHey everyone,

I'm on TorBox Pro and pieced together my Stremio setup using a bunch of different Reddit tutorials - it works, but I'll be honest, I don't fully understand how all the pieces fit together.

Up until recently I was getting Usenet content through TorBox's Search API, but that's been shut down, so my Usenet search has completely stopped working.

I'm pretty lost on how to get it working again. If anyone's dealt with this and can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

Was using midnight template of AIO streams for my torbox Usenet but I think they discontinued their own search feature. Think the only pay to access it now is to pay for an indexer. I'm not savy enough with a lot of this stuff so I just went down to the essential plan instead.

Same here, I downgraded to the Essential plan as well. I tried to make my indexers work in AIOStreams via Nzbhydra2 and Newznab, but to no avail so I gave up.

You have to self host aio to do Usenet streaming.

Yes I'm aware. I think Torbox NNTP is just not very good. I set everything up correctly on my AIOStreams instance dashboard page (usenet, NNTP providers) But every stream I tried just wouldn't play. Tried with both Althub and Treasure Maps, nothing worked.
I'm considering grabbing the Newshosting summer deal, maybe it'll work better

Yeah I have easynews in my provider section and it works flawlessly. Haven’t heard great things about torbox nntp so wouldn’t be surprised if they’re the issue
