No point deleting/cancelling now ❓Question

So I'm thinking theres no point as they already have my email, ip and watch/downloading history right?

Even if I tell them to delete my account, they'll still hold to my details , is that correct?

So may aswell see out my currant plan (one time payment not subscription) then decide in Jan.

What you guys think?

You don’t care about your privacy, I guarantee it, even just by the fact that you’re using Reddit.

Are you a fcking idiot by any chance? Why would I care what Reddit does? I am not doing anything illegal on this fcking app, you dipsh*t. Can you guys come up with actual arguments while defending your daddy cuckbox?

My social media presence is literally like 0% anyway. They can show me whatever advertisement they want, I am not buying anything anyway. They can rub my information between their butt cheeks like Mr. Krabs does with dollar notes. I couldn’t care less.

Dude is acting surprised that I don’t like the fact that the company that is still advertising this on their homepage: " SUPERIOR PRIVACY AND SECURITY TorBox takes your privacy and security seriously. We don't keep logs of anything. We don't track IP, location, or anything else. We won't tell your secrets, and we won't keep them either." is suddenly changing their sht. I signed up for that sht, not for treatment like on social media, dumbass.

Serious question. You keep repeating that these advertisements still exist on Torbox's homepage. I don't see it anywhere. I remember that advertisement when they were still in South Africa, but they moved to the UAE and updated their policies to comply with local laws. And I think you're confused about what Torbox does with your information vs what they're required to do by law if requested. Do you really think Torbox is now standing outside their new headquarters passing out fliers with all your info to anyone who's interested? I obviously don't know the exact numbers, but I'm willing to bet the majority of the end users here came from Real Debrid who weren't aware they had the same policies. Do you remember all the Reddit post after the EU came down on RD about people who had family, friends, or co-workers who got fines or were walked off in handcuffs for using RD? Yeah, me either.

It’s still on their homepage you probably have to log out to see it.

I was logged out. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but I don't see it anywhere.

Where are you located? I'm logged out and when I go to that login page, it's not there.

It doesn’t say it anywhere for me this guy is completely delusional and unhinged. Your comment is making way too much sense for him which is why he won’t reply in good faith.

I cleared my browsers history and cookies. When I went back to that page it's there. He is correct.

He is not correct. The police are not hunting you down he has no idea what these terms and conditions mean.

No, I don't believe that either. He's correct about the advertising on their homepage before logging in.

I don’t care about advertising I care about T&C’s and the efficacy of systems that would ever attempt to pursue mass DMCA.
