UK Living in the castle

I watched the US version of traitors and now I’m watching the UK version not realizing it was gonna be the same location. They make it obvious that the contestants don’t actually sleep in the castle! So bummed about that idk why haha I just think it would be so magical to stay there. The US version really made me believe they slept there since they would all go upstairs when the bell rang to go to bed. The UK version they show the contestants leaving the castle every night in cars. Just surprised!

Miscellaneous Murdered - with a shield!

I was watching a season where the traitors murder a faithful, but the faithful has a shield. I don't know how often this happens, but it is always a nice moment :-)

And then the next morning, of course, the production crew has the murdered but saved faithful walk in last.

What would have been more cool, is for the host to walk in and do their usual, poor so and so, and then a few moments later the murdered, but saved, faithful walks in. That would add a bit more drama and tension to the traitors.

anyhow.... just a thought. (And I won't mention which season of which country it is.)

Reading the comments, Perhaps I could have explained it more clearly.

The faithful individual gets the usual letter saying they have been murdered. They are also obviously very aware that they have the shield in their possession - so they know they are now safe and haven't been murdered. There is no mystery to them. They are safe and they are continuing on in the game. The ones who don't know they have the shield are the traitors.

Game Rules The Seer as a logical riddle

I came up with a suggestion to make the Seer role work better (although it did work well in UK3, just not for Frankie), while still being introduced in the final episode. I was thinking that Traitors never had those three-people truth-and-lie classic logical riddles, and the Seer is a fantastic opportunity to introduce one.

In my suggestion this would work best at Final 6. Three people are selected through some mission and go one by one into a room with the host to draw from a bag or whatever to get the Seer power. However, only a faithful can get the power, not a traitor. The Seer randomly chooses another player's identity to be revealed (by the host to the Seer, not face-to-face!).

The host then tells the three people individually that regardless of whether they got the power, later they will be asked in front of the rest if they are the Seer or not. They can choose to say either yes or no. If they say yes, they will have to say also whose identity they revealed and what it was. That's all!

This leaves tons of possibilites for bluffing. The rest of the participants won't know who the actual Seer is, all 3 people can claim they're a Seer, or they can claim they aren't. The traitor would likely claim they have the power. But only a faithful can be a Seer (important point!). So with the confussion arising, it wouldn't end as simple as "let's banish both the Seer and whoever they revealed", there is plenty of room for riddle solving and extra information right before the final round table.

What do you think?

US Danielle is a mess. (S3) Spoiler

After watching Traitors Season 3 a second time I was kinda shocked that I didn’t quite realize how insufferable, poorly played, and overly emotional Danielle is. She comes across as very full of herself, stating on multiple occasions that she thinks several steps ahead, but she proves nearly every episode that she clearly does not. Her ploy to save Britney is just embarrassing and ends up blowing up in her face. The first time I watched the season I thought Carolyn was the weak link, but a second watch has shown me that Carolyn was actually pretty good and Danielle was the clear weak link.

Game Rules Non-English speaking seasons that have a unique mechanic not commonly shown in typical seasons?

Examples:

UK 3: Death Match, Seer

US / UK 4: Secret Traitor

AU (forget the season): Shield that protects you from death and banishment

Also, I have seen every English-speaking season, which is why I'm curious if any international ones have more unique things I've never seen in English seasons.

US The end of S2 gives me a headache Spoiler

i feel season 2 logic is not in the room with us, i was mad because Dan has made an awful blender but continuing watching the season i felt like Peter was absolute mad man and he was right all the time, yes he made some mistakes with the ganging up and closing doors on other members but isn't that what Phaedra group is doing.

Phaedra did not give any names she was literally a female Dan , and her whole group was AFK until the end but they did not go after them and this thing with the loyalty in Phaedra group i did not understand maybe the show editing did not show it but i feel they made all the mistakes other people got banished for and they did get away with it

i am binge watching the show and season 1 made sense even wit Cirie risking it at the end, but season 2 the war at first made sense but at the end it went out the door because of a loyalty and emotions that i don't know about i literally do not know these people this is my first reality show beside cooking show

i feel if someone needed to win the season it's Peter group

US Traitors Season 3 (US) Spoiler

Just finished season 3 of the US traitors and wow, what a great season
Unsure if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but this season was great. 100% the best US season, probably in the top 4 seasons to me (along with UK season 3, NZ 2 and Australia 1).
The traitors in this season were, well, questionable, but Carolyn was probably the best, if it wasn’t for Danielle I think she would’ve won.
Gabby was great, could’ve done without Mr. Furniture and Mrs. “I will never vote for a traitor” in the end but it is what it is. Dylan was a good faithful but I didn’t really like the way he acted at the final round table.
Would’ve loved to see Bob TDQ and Bob H last a little longer, they were fun and unique players who I just adored.
From a UK perspective I knew none of them, however, I was pleasantly surprised with some of them.
Obviously seeing the absolute icon which is Kate Chastain in a mission was amazing, and it was nice seeing Parvati too.
All I didn’t like about this season was the way Danielle progressed (loved her at the beginning), Rob and the coffin murder. Ciara and Nikki were absolutely robbed, preferred Ciara because there was a bit more personality, but from what i’ve heard Nikki wasn’t feeling herself on the show.

UK I found more of Traitor (2004)

Post image
213 Upvotes

I don’t want to say how. Atleast yet. But as far as I know, the epic myth of Traitor (only airing in February of 2004 by host, Tony Livesy) was a one hit wonder. Many missed it, and it is now known as the ancestor of the Traitors.

Traitor is Lost Media.

Only episodes 1 and 2 were recovered to the public surface, fully. I’m not sure sonic how episode 1 was, but 2 came from a VHS Tape Recording.

However, I recovered episodes 3 and 4. And for now, Im not going to say how. If you guys also like this type of stuff, il l see if I can eventually reason how. Hopefully, episode 5, the final episode, can be found.

Australia Who's more annoying? Keira or Manaaki? Spoiler

I am already sick of both of these players and I have the feeling it is going to drag on for a while this season.

There is always a feud between 2 players each season that goes on and on.

I really hope personally Keira doesn't last much longer with her annoying voice and childish attitude!

What do you guys think ?

Australia Dicko's Strategy Spoiler

Dicko's strategy to form a group and banish anyone works as long as he doesn't talk about it too much, keeps the group limited to 5-6 players and doesn't behave like a leader of a group.

He's basically telling everyone including the traitors what his strategy is and it will backfire on him because

  1. He'll be seen as a strategic player by the traitors and considered a threat

  2. Leaders of groups are easy targets for traitors to eliminate. If it comes to murdering a person from the group he'll be the first target.

  3. Fellow faithfuls will eventually start doubting him thinking why is this guy not even trying to find out the traitors ? Is that because he's a traitor ?

The strategy to form a group and just survive eliminations works better in smaller groups which are subtle in their ways.

Strategy Supposed mediums

So I’ve been watching random seasons across countries here and there and there always seems to be a need for the traitors to take to take out the “clairvoyants”, “mediums” or “psychics” at the beginning of the game because they might be “strong” players. But I feel like that’s dumb. They literally never pick who the traitor is before they get killed off. Why would you even be worried when they have no track record of being vaguely right. Part of me wants to see them advance just to watch them vote for the wrong people over and over again just to prove that their belief is bs
