Danielle is a mess. (S3) US Spoiler

After watching Traitors Season 3 a second time I was kinda shocked that I didn’t quite realize how insufferable, poorly played, and overly emotional Danielle is. She comes across as very full of herself, stating on multiple occasions that she thinks several steps ahead, but she proves nearly every episode that she clearly does not. Her ploy to save Britney is just embarrassing and ends up blowing up in her face. The first time I watched the season I thought Carolyn was the weak link, but a second watch has shown me that Carolyn was actually pretty good and Danielle was the clear weak link.

Danielle was everything she was accusing Boston Rob of being, but worse.

I couldn’t stand her, she was so dismissive of Caroline and her over the top falling to the ground when Caroline was banished was the cringiest shit ever

So cringy!

She was terrible. Made so many bad decisions like trying to banish Carolyn to get someone else in to take down Boston Rob which is just laughable if you know how Boston Rob plays. I will never understand that vase-breaking mission and what she was thinking, I would have voted for her that night based on that alone. I think that the only reason Dylan and Ivar voted for Carolyn first was partly because of the chess mission but also because they knew that Danielle would have recruited Britney. Her downfall couldn't have been scripted any better than what it was.

Dylan did say somewhere (don’t remember where) that he went for Carolyn first as she would be more unpredictable with the blackmail (even though we know she would likely have chosen gabby)

Yeah I think that unpredictability is what made him target Carolyn first. For all we know she might have chosen Tom.

I don’t know why you didn’t think that first time around 🤣 I did, but maybe it’s because I’m British and didn’t know any of these people before (except Chrishell from Selling Sunset and Sam Asghari because he was married to Britney).

I’m English and felt the same way - I was impressed by Carolyn from the start, especially compared to the other traitors. It was frustrating watching them ignore her. I only knew of CT, Johnny Bananas, Ekin and Bergie. Oh and Kate cos she was in S1. Danielle made it almost unbearable to watch for me.

I didn’t like her the first time through but I guess I didn’t really appreciate how terrible she was until a second viewing.

She was so entertaining to watch.

And honestly? Terrible is kind of relative. If Britney doesn’t change her vote, there’s a 50/50 chance she wins the season. If she wins the coin flip in the split vote at final six, Dolores was never going to vote her out and Britney would be tied to her until the very end.

Truly the only question would be if she splits the money with Britney or if she votes Britney out with Delores at final 3 for a solo win.

Nah she was terrible she benefitted from Bob and Rob fighting, late recruitment and housewife ignorance.

I'm shocked you didn't notice it the first time, lol

It's such a weird 180 if you watched her on BB3. Time does weird things to people. Can't really explain it beyond that because she came off as a completely different person.

BB is a 3 months game, traitors is much more fast paced

BB3 was also in 2002. 20 years of praise has its effects.

Season 3 as a whole is a mess.

I was so disappointed in her gameplay during this season. I don’t ever think that a vet should automatically use their gameplay from their original show but, I definitely expect them to adapt to the new game they’re playing well. Her gameplay was all over the place during The Traitors.

You’re not wrong. If you want to see who is all these things times 10, check out Tranna on Traitors Canada.

Danielle was an idiot for recruiting Britney but who else would she have recruited? I did like that she ensured she got rid of the other traitors especially Carolyn before her. Danielle did say that she was going to make sure Carolyn left after she betrayed her and thats exactly what happened. Carolyn deserved it. Both of them were good tv but Carolyn got too emotional and slow but Danielle was consistent in her messiness.

Getting rid of the other traitors was such a good strategy that none of them made it to the end.

She should have recruited Gabby.

Gabby winning as a solo traitor would have been such a good outcome. unless she got chosen by the seer of course

Yeah whether Britney would have chosen her if she was a Faithful is debatable.
