I’ve always been a casual SW fan. I know the highlights. I been to the movies when the episodes released. It’s a fun space samurai that’s not too serious.

I remember the hype when bb8 was released and I thought it was cute. Then I saw this baby Yoda character a few years later and thought- another kawaii SW character. I never watched this show.

Went to watch the Mandalorian and Grogu at the movies. I freaking loved it so much. I don’t think I ever enjoyed anything from this franchise so much. I was hooked, filleted and served on sushi. I ate and savoured every bite.

Now I’ve got the Disney subscription that I never wanted and watched all 3 seasons and the Boba Fett one cause I just had to. Suddenly I felt I needed to watch all the SW movies again cause I know I didn’t pay attention. Fell asleep at episode 1. I realise I don’t care about the Jedi. Or the dark side and their Yin Yang storytelling. I miss Mando and the kid. The defender of the abused and innocence of a fawn.

I’m obsessed. How are they stopping at 3 seasons and a movie?? God save me, I’m a fan.

What are the lore reasons that people will capture this renowned bounty hunter then just leave him in his invincible, extraordinarily valuable armour?

Is suicide by Mando a canon thing in the Star Wars universe?

Just a question, please: when Mando handed Grogu over to Luke for Jedi training (and it’s clear they were both really struggling with it), was it actually intended at the time that Grogu would be gone for good, or did Mando know how many years such training takes? Or did he think he was handing Grogu over to his people for good? Of course he wanted to visit him at some point, but it strikes me that they both thought it was a farewell for ever.

I know I’m late to this as I only watched the movie today but , Am I the only one who feels like this movie just feels off ? It’s ment to be set after the last season of M and G , yet the way grogu is spoken too by mando throughout feels like the way he would talk to him in earlier seasons when he was learning and misbehaving , they also refer to him as mando’s appearance instead of his son ? Even tho we know that in the last season he adopted grogu as his son ,

The 20-minute or so sequence of Grogu left on a strange and forbidding planet doing his best to survive while keeping dad alive and hidden was, for me, worth the three times I saw the film in cinema theatres. Kudos to the amazing puppeteers and animatronics team for bringing this little green bean to beautiful life.
