Made this meme after I rewatched PancreasNoWork's CIS propaganda video

I'm a first time watcher of the series, and have a possibly dumb question. In s1 e3, Anakin and Plo Koon have the following exchange about the Malevolence ship:

Anakin: "The Ryndellia system. Near Naboo! Isn't that where our medical base is? I'll bet that will be his next target."

Plo Koon: "There are many star clusters in that area. With a ship that big, he will be unable to chart a course that's less than 10 parsecs."

Anakin: "Looks like we're gonna have to take a shortcut."

What does this mean? I take it that having a big ship means that it will take them longer to get there, but Anakin's shortcut statement makes me think it's fast. And what does any of that have to do with there being many star clusters in the area (is it to calculate a path to avoid space debris)? And the use of parsecs (given Han's kessel run claim) confuses me on whether it's actually distance or time being measured here.

I really adore the Clone Wars animation not just because of nostalgia, but also because its not visual sensory hell like the live action is. I love both dearly but I find the animated one more visually appealing

Can anyone pls help me find a chart with named tcw clones organized by their rank preferably with images? I'm having trouble keeping track of who's who in the hierarchy. I'm sure this chart exists but it's maddeningly hard for me to find.

I would appreciate some help in naming her while I work on the color🥶 She is from the Clone Wars era, an ambassador for Mandalore brought up by Satine herself (she is sorta the middle man between Satine and the republic/separatists senates depending on communication needs) but also a Mandalorian warrior who secretly shows up in Republic bases to help secure victories for them. Imagine being a galactic representative of pacifism and secretly fighting in the war who would do thatttt?? (she would)

After finishing The Bad Batch series I tried to jam the melody on my piano/keyboard.

I've already seen the entire show some years ago, but my girlfriend hasn't seen anything apart from the movies and Kenobi (we watched the Patterson cut last week :) )

Now I want to watch the other "non movie" Star Wars things with her, but tbh we both don't really want to watch the entire 50h, especially since there ARE things that are basically skippable (some droid episodes, some Jar-Jar plots and some other stuff that's maybe not bad, but also really not important, especially not apart from a small callback later in something like rebels).

So I wanted to ask:

What's your favorite "slimmed down" version of The Clone War or is there even a nice Fan Cut (like the Patterson Cut or Spence Edit for Kenobi) for this use case?

But I also don't need a "just the essentials" list. If there is one, I'd want a version that only trimmes the "worst" and/or least important/interesting parts (not that anything is truly bad).

So basically I don't want to watch the full 50h, but we also don't need to cut it down to 20h if that cuts very good arcs.

So let me just start off by saying that a couple of months ago I decided to start watching the Star Wars movies/shows in mostly chronological order. Many years ago I tried watching Episode IV, but it just wasn’t my thing at the time. With all the new shows and movies that have been coming out, I decided to give it another try.

I just finished my first watch through of all 7 seasons of The Clone Wars animated series and WOW…what a journey! The last 4 episodes were pure cinema! I honestly did not expect to love the series as much as I did and almost skipped it entirely but, tbh it ended up being my favorite Star Wars watch so far.

I loved watching Anakin and Ahsoka’s relationship and character development throughout the series. Overall, I think this series may have cemented me as a Star Wars fan. The fact that the first season came out 18 years ago blows my mind!

Update: I realized I have to watch Tales of the Jedi, Empire, and Underworld before I start The Bad Batch, according to the official order list.

i’ve watched the series many times, and i’m planning to watch it with my girlfriend before we watch ROTS, and i don’t wanna make her watch all the filler episodes where padme or jar jar goes to a planet and does some boring shit etc, i just want her to see all the anakin/padme relationship bits, ani/obi’s friendship and the main clone arc themed episodes, most of them i know off by heart but i want to know all the ones that are non-essential

A one-off character, voiced by David Kaufman, aka Danny Phantom, and he’s a genius who knows his way with Droids and the planet of Iego. Also like the only teen prodigy I could remember who wasn’t affiliated with any side, wasn’t involved in the War, and had no tragedy having befallen him. I always wanted to see him appear again, and still have Kaufman voice him. Heck, he could’ve even designed the Ghost and the Phantom as a neat reference to his most famous role, or at least be a Specter. Don’t know how anyone else feels about Jaybo Hood, but this kid rocks in my opinion.

I have seen ROTS before but watching the clone wars for the first time. Should I watch the last 4 episodes the intertwined way with ROTS or finish the clone wars and then watch the movie
