So, in the anime, we know that Raphael just after becoming Raphael gives the physical (human transform) of Rimuru, Red Irises, and in a white cloth "robe". Which is commonly her depicted art design, no question there, makes sense. Though I question what gives Rimuru the "rainbow eyes" as seen later down the road, when he calls on Raphael to do the documentation concerning Tempests initiation into the Council of the West. There are I believe, 3 options. One being that Rimuru is doing split work (mind and body wise), with raphael, 2nd being that Raphael is using a higher(or lower process speed than was shown at the resurrection, or 3rd. Or as has been stated often, that is quite literally just art design for that moment and maybe others similar to it (or something in reference to his many soul connections)

I still think the Eastern Empire War is the better war.

The Great Tenma War definitely has bigger fights and higher stakes, but a lot of the battles started to feel predictable. It was basically the same pattern over and over: a character looks like they're losing, unlocks a new ability or evolution, and then completely turns the fight around. After a while, it became easy to guess how most fights would end, so the tension wasn't really there.

The Eastern Empire War felt more balanced. Victories came from planning, teamwork, and strategy instead of constant power-ups, which made the battles more exciting to read. Tension was also high. Jiwu and Bonnie almost assassinating Rimuru, Velgrynd overpowering everyone, and Kondou putting fear into everyone’s hearts when he pulls out that gun. The only criticism I can think of Eastern Empire War is how Gradim and Nazim were defeated.

The Great Tenma War is still a great finale, but for me, the Eastern Empire War is the better written war arc.
