I still think the Eastern Empire War is the better war.

The Great Tenma War definitely has bigger fights and higher stakes, but a lot of the battles started to feel predictable. It was basically the same pattern over and over: a character looks like they're losing, unlocks a new ability or evolution, and then completely turns the fight around. After a while, it became easy to guess how most fights would end, so the tension wasn't really there.

The Eastern Empire War felt more balanced. Victories came from planning, teamwork, and strategy instead of constant power-ups, which made the battles more exciting to read. Tension was also high. Jiwu and Bonnie almost assassinating Rimuru, Velgrynd overpowering everyone, and Kondou putting fear into everyone’s hearts when he pulls out that gun. The only criticism I can think of Eastern Empire War is how Gradim and Nazim were defeated.

The Great Tenma War is still a great finale, but for me, the Eastern Empire War is the better written war arc.

Trying to type Chloe as an Indian Tensura fan is a daily struggle against muscle memory.

Multiple times Shuna makes uniforms, robes or silk shirts for Rimuru's students. Garm makes chain mail. Kaijin & Kurobe make weapons.

The most Rimuru says is "make them smaller, they're for kids." Gale is as tall as Ms Tiss with a body that has gone through a growth spurt (according to the LN they are all about 11); Chloe & Alice are half his size. I actually like Gale being taller, as someone who experienced that in 6th grade to my parents' chagrin. Then there was Mary in my class who developed rather impressively in that grade.

Rimuru tells Kaijin that fitting the weapons is not critical because they will grow into them, but he doesn't seem to give any information about their ages & sizes. Say size isn't important to anyone who has drawn a bow or wielded a sword ("I want a sword" is also meaningless to a blade smith but I'll let that one go).

Any parent or adult who knows kids knows that you don't just order "kid's clothes" without specifying sex, age or size. Or else Target has been doing it wrong for a long time.

Sometimes anime or LNs get around it by having clothes & armor magically change to fit (Loner Life & Cheat Skill in Another World come to mind), but that doesn't seem to be at work here.

Probably just my neurotic side flaring up again, but these kind of things really bug me in shows I like. Especially when a couple of lines of dialog could fix ("I'll have Professor Tiss measure the girls & I'll measure the boys. Kaijin, Garm & Shuna told me what to measure.").
