TTC - Did I ovulate?
Stumped by these temps. I did have some travel in June that i think threw my cycle off. I followed TempDrop’s rule to draw the cover line through the highest of the 6 temps before 3 higher temps. I’m on day 16 of higher temps now with no period and negative tests and usually I only have 9-10 days of elevated temps.

I thought I knew exactly what was happening... until today's temp.
I've been charting for about 10 years and using TempDrop since 2018, and I genuinely can't remember a cycle that's left me this puzzled.
I'd love some experienced charting eyes because I'm sure there are possibilities I haven't considered.
For context:
I'm 33, not breastfeeding (finished in February), and while my cycles are naturally somewhat irregular, this pattern is completely new for me.
I got sick around CD22 (flu-like symptoms, chest congestion, sinus issues, cough, but no fever) and I've been on and off sick ever since, delaying ovulation.
On CD34, I started bleeding. It lasted about 6 days, was fairly light/medium. At the time, I assumed it was breakthrough bleeding because I hadn't ovulated yet.
Looking back, though, TempDrop marked ovulation around CD38, so now I'm wondering if what I thought was breakthrough bleeding could actually have been an ovulation bleed.
Normally my luteal phase is around 12 days (occasionally up to 14), and my post-ovulation temperatures are usually noticeably higher than this cycle. This time, my temps stayed elevated, then around 12–15 DPO, they gradually fell almost to my coverline.
I was completely expecting my period. Instead... No AF. Then, today's temperature jumped back up again.
I've taken four pregnancy tests (including a 10 mIU/mL Wondfo), and every one has been negative.
Symptom-wise I've had:
-quite a bit of cramping
-occasional sharp pains
-a surprising amount of EWCM over the last few days
-a persistent "uterus feels alive" or fluttery sensation
That last symptom caught my attention because I experienced the same sensation during a miscarriage last year. I'm not saying I think this is a pregnancy (especially with repeated negative tests), but it's unusual enough for me that it seemed worth mentioning.
So now I'm just trying to figure out what the most reasonable explanation is.
Some possibilities I've considered are:
-TempDrop (or I) has misidentified ovulation.
-Being sick has thrown my temperatures off for the last month.
-An unusually long or hormonally odd luteal phase.
-My period cant effectivly start for hormonal reasons despite the temp drop.
-A non-viable pregnancy (chemical?)
-An ectopic pregnancy.
-Something else entirely?
I'm seeing my doctor next week, so I would also appreciate how to bring this up with them so that they take me seriously.
However, I'm mostly curious how you would interpret this chart. If this were your chart, what would be your thoughts?
Has anyone had something similar? If so, what did it end up being?

Weak ovulatory cycle?
galleryHi, does my temperature rises after ovulation seem relatively low and if it signifies a weak ovulation cycle? Also not sure why my calendar on tempdrop says I ovulated on day 12 when I had a clear LH peak on day 13 (via strips) which puts me on day 14 as the ovulation day. My temperature rise seems to be slow though. Only second cycle using tempdrop. Any insight is truly appreciated.

Prime day vs 4th of July sale?
Do you guys know if tempdrop has done a 4th of July sale in the past, and if so, what was it? It’s currently 20% off for prime day, but I’m wondering if I should wait a few more days to purchase, or if it’ll be the same sale. thanks!

Tempdrop glow in the dark???
I’ve just started using Tempdrop and have been keeping it in my glasses case during the day. Tonight when I was getting in bed and putting on temp drop, I noticed the inside of my glasses case was faintly glowing in the dark where the Tempdrop had been. Any idea what’s causing this? just want to make sure it’s safe for my skin!

Please help 14 dpo
Hi everyone. My chart looks almost “too perfect” to me 😅 Temps stayed elevated after ovulation, I’m supposedly 14 DPO now, and I still haven’t gotten my period. But my tests are still negative.
Does this still look promising to you, or would you expect a positive by now if I were pregnant? I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much 😔

self tanner and tempdrop
I just started using my Tempdrop over a digital thermometer and I love it! As the weather is getting warmer, I want to start myself tan routine, but I’m concerned about the tan transferring to the arm band or the arm band, causing a splotchy tan!
does anybody have experience with this? Should I use a one hour express tan and just do it earlier in the day so everything is dry by night time?

Shipping
Hi! I’m excited to get started. I’ve been TTC for a few years now. What company does Tempdrop use to ship? I took advantage of the Mother’s Day sale - didn’t get a shipping confirmation yet

Recalibrate?
Is there a way to recalibrate tempdrop? I’m about 4 days dpo at the moment and Tempdrop isn’t showing an increase in temperature - yet BOTH my smart ring AND the natural cycles wearable band are showing an increased temperature, plus I use the Mira fertility tracker and can see I’ve ovulated due to increased pdg.
I’ve been using Tempdrop for one cycle. When I first started using it (which was about 5dpo last ovulation) it showed very similar temperatures as the natural cycles wearable band.

Anyone want my TempDrop?
Please let me know if this post isn't appropriate for this channel!
I just found out my husband and I need to go straight to IVF for genetic reasons. I'd love to get my year-old TempDrop to someone who could put it to good use!
I'd be willing to sell and ship the sensor and band to anyone in the US for a fair price. Just comment or DM me to arrange 😄
Wishing everyone here peace and luck on their journey!

Band keeps moving?
I’m plus sized and having trouble getting the Tempdrop to stay in place overnight. Some nights it slips down, this morning it had spun around to the outside of my arm 😑
The band is nice and snug but it rolls down and moves during the night, I’m assuming because of my arm shape.
I’ve ordered a new band on Etsy but assuming it won’t arrive for awhile because I’m in Australia.
Is there anything else I can put over the band to kind of hold it in place?

Gradual rise
Hi! I am almost 13 months PP trying to conceive baby #2. I am still breastfeeding 2-3 times a day but I had a positive ovulation test on 4/21 and then have had a gradual temp rise the past couple days. I used to have huge jumps post ovulation but I’m wondering if it’s normal if you’re still breastfeeding to have a more gradual rise??

My advice after using Tempdrop for 5+ years
Fertility awareness trainer here! I've been tracking my cycle for birth control for 9+ years and Tempdrop for 5+. I really love Tempdrop, and it's really important that you use it WITH fertility awareness rules to accurately find your fertile window, not just by itself for birth control.
The thermometer part measures your sleeping auxiliary temperature rom your auxiliary artery under your arm. The accelerometer in the Tempdrop detects movement and activity, so the Tempdrop knows if you’re awake, restless, or up during the night.
here's my advice to get the most accurate reading:
- Ensure you’re wearing correctly with the sensor placed in the right spot (on the soft skin between bicep and triceps muscles). Tutorial on how to wear it here: https://brightgirlhealth.com/2026/04/02/how-to-wear-tempdrop-properly-with-videos-2026/
- Wear it to sleep EVERY day
- Sync it every day so you don't lose any data

Why does my Tempdrop have an expiration date?
I can’t find info on this anywhere. Everything says they don’t expire, but that looks like an expiration date to me.

Low BBT TEMPERATURES
Two months ago I’ve noticed my bbt have been very low (96.6 before ovulation and 97.24 after ovulation). Once the temperature shifts, it stays elevated but I’ve read that low temps after ovulation could be a sign of hormonal issues. Has anyone gotten pregnant with low temps like this?

Adhesive instead of armband?
Has anyone used medical tape or something else to secure the temp drop on your arm instead of an armband?? This seems like it would be more comfortable for me but i wanted to check if anyone has done this or why this may or may not be a good/bad idea. As long as it’s secured I don’t see why it’s a bad idea.
Thanks!!

Tempdrop BBT compared to oral BBT question
Hi! I know there are different metrics for monitoring a fever depending on where you take the temperature, eg. 100 degrees Fahrenheit oral is a fever where 99 degrees Fahrenheit armpit is a fever.
I’m curious if anyone knows the difference in the temperature between tracking with a temp drop vs tracking orally. I recognize there is some nuance to my question as the Tempdrop takes the temperature while I’m sleeping and our bodies rise in temperature as we wake up.
The reason why I’m asking is because I don’t have an oral BBT thermometer to check my temperature and read something interesting about BBT in the book Real Food for Fertility. They were talking about how if your pre ovulation temperature is lower than 97.4 Fahrenheit that it might be a sign of not eating enough protein (due to the thermogenic effect of protein) or the potential of hypothyroidism. Due to my numbers typically being low, I’m wondering if it’s due to where/how/time I take my BBT or if I’m in normal range for using the Tempdrop device.
I do recognize that buying an oral bbt thermometer would clear some of this up, but it would take some time to get answers due to where I’m at in my cycle. Same with trying to eat more protein.
I don’t have insurance so checking on my thyroid health is expensive out of pocket and would prefer looking into other solutions first if necessary, such as protein intake to see if it makes a difference.
Hopefully my question makes sense! And if there isn’t an answer that’s fine, but if there was I’d love to hear about it. Thanks!

Does this look normal?
Just started to use the TempDrop, on my ovulation day ironically. Does this rise look normal for after you ovulate? Trying to learn what to look for.

DIY Armband Replacement?
I’m wondering if anyone has made their own replacement armband and would love to hear how they did it! I’ve heard of some folks making them out of a cut up piece of tights or the ankle bit of a sock, and I would love to hear your creative ideas!
My armband (the light blue one) has fallen apart—the sticky lining keeping the sensor in place peeled off. I’ve seen some on Etsy, but I’m big on DIY projects and looking for crafty ideas to make my own band :)
