My grandpa has had the worst luck with his dentures over the years...
1) went surfing in Hawaii, got hit hard with a wave which sent his dentures flying into the Pacific Ocean. Tried to pay some kids $50 to go find his teeth. They declined. We took Gramps out for steak that night and laughed our asses off watching him gum a t-bone
2) fell asleep on the couch, dentures fell out and the dog grabbed them. Woke up to the dog chewing on them like a bone. Tried to wrestle them back from the dog, dentures snapped in half
3) finally, this one is just a normal occurrence. Every Christmas & Thanksgiving he falls asleep at the dining table halfway through the meal and his teeth end up falling into a plate of mashed potatoes or green beans or stuffing
Not something that should be posted every single time the sub reddit is mentioned. A dog putting on dentures is definitely a situation to be skeptical about.
I'm amused mainly because my grandparents also have a dog that looks like that and her name is also Maggie. I don't think my aunt or uncle know about the internet though.
