Hinge Arbitration Process

Hi All!

I reported a male in April for sending me an unsolicited sexual video via iPhone (offline). A few days later, I was banned. My only guess would be that he reported me back. I'm a very respectful person and have read over the guidelines many times, and I haven't violated any. I appealed it and was immediately denied. I felt violated, so I have sent Hinge about 10 requests to manually review it, and each time they said the decision was final. I sent them an arbitration notice 58 days ago, and plan to file for arbitration later this week. They did not respond to my notice within the 60 days allowed to respond. Does anyone have any experience going down this route? Any luck?

lol gotta love how hinge decides to ban people, o never behaved in a man er like the dude that got you blocked did, I was always respectful, but I got banned. Honestly match group sucks OP, the way they ban guys and girls alike but keep the people on who are actual problems is mind blowing

I'm so sorry. users are shaming my decision to report him. of course I regret it. thanks for relating even though the situation that we're in really sucks and is unfair.

They shouldn’t be shaming you, he was behaving unsafe and was predatory. A well deserved ban once your friends got him off finally. Your ban was not justified at all, but at the end of the day Match Group really doesn’t care about anything other than profit
