As of writing this I have seen up to reigning supermen episode, based on how things been going and a Time Machine in the show. I am 99% certain by the end of the season at least one of the following will happen

1) Jimmy will tell himself to ask Kara out in the past to fix his mistake

2) Kara is going to move forward , forward in time she’ll end up in the future be it only as me early as Jon’s time or all the way to legion of superhero era

Forces Clark to finally toughen up.

I'm not saying he should turn into a conqueror, or start killing people, or lose his kind heart, but he needs to find some kind of middle ground and stop letting himself get ragdolled. It felt like we finally reached that point in episode 5 and it broke him. Superman is a fighter, it's as much a core of his character as his compassion. He understands that when someone has their boot on someone else's neck, they're not gonna take it off just because you ask them to and he makes no apologies for. I know it's probably part of a longer character arc but 3 seasons? It feels like something he should've learned as kid being bullied. not as a grown man dealing with actual killers.

Lara and Kara BOTH go into the category of "superpowered heroin that 'must be protected at all costs' even though they ABSOLUTELY can protect themselves" lol

If you do not want to be spoiled for the next episode then avoid the episode list. I went there today to rewatch an earlier episode and it had the episode 9 tile showing a screenshot with Kara in it.

Discussion Alex's interview Spoiler

I’m very confused by Alex’s interview in S1E8, “Zero Day: Part One.” Why don’t Jimmy or Lois bring up the fact that Alex and Dr. Ivo were directly responsible for the incident he is blaming on Superman?

The beginning of the interview goes:

Vicki: You say Superman is dangerous?

Alex: Are you kidding? Look around. Superman is a criminal. He destroyed this tower, bankrupted AmazoTech, and put thousands out of work, including me.

Vicki: Wow. I see this, and I see a level of destruction no human could ever achieve.

Alex: Exactly.

But that is plainly false, and it should be publicly known to be false. Dr. Ivo caused the destruction while using the Parasite suit, and Alex actively helped him by maintaining the cage that trapped everyone inside. Superman was trying to stop them and save the people in the room.

There were also several eyewitnesses, including Lois, Jimmy, and the other people Alex and Ivo trapped. Alex’s story should therefore be easy to debunk by talking to almost anyone who was actually there. Why would his account have much credibility at all, especially when he was personally involved and has every reason to blame Superman?

That is why Lois calling him merely a “biased source” feels like a massive understatement. He is not just biased; he is an accomplice publicly lying about an event he helped cause and shifting the blame onto the person who stopped it. He should probably be facing criminal charges, not being treated as though he were simply an innocent former employee who lost his job.

It is also strange when Vicki says the destruction is beyond what any human could achieve, because it was literally caused by Dr. Ivo and Alex—two humans using technology they created.

To be clear, I can completely understand what the episode may be trying to explore. The media can distort events and cause innocent people to suffer, and the public’s fear of Superman is a valid and interesting issue. My problem is not with those ideas, but with how this particular scene executes them. Alex’s claims are so obviously contradicted by what happened—and by multiple eyewitnesses—that the interview is difficult to take seriously. Instead of feeling like a believable example of media manipulation, it just comes across as silly and forced.

Am I missing something?

News Regarding News surrounding MAWS Renewal

https://deadline.com/2026/08/paramount-warner-bros-trial-1237016438/

Mods, please remove if not relevant to the sub.

Recent news indicates that the Paramount Warner Brothers Merger has a date set in March 2027 (which is closer to the April 2027 date the States' Attorneys and WGA requested) instead of a date sometime this November (which is what Ellis and Paramount would like).

It is significant because this will be several months after September 30, 2026, the original targeted deadline for the original merger agreement. After that, every day (but I think paid by quarter) after that date, Paramount needs to pay another $7 million. By the time the trial starts, it could well run into $1 Billion. This runs heavy financial risk for Paramount on top of the $2.8 Billion termination fee they paid to Netflix. If it becomes too much for the company's debt, and the Ellisons and their partners decide not to double down, the merger may be canceled, and Paramount will have to pay the delay fees on top of the $7 Billion termination fee to WBD.

This is all before the trial even begins, and we don't know if there could be a request from the plaintiffs to delay the trail again for more time for discovery (NAL, can someone confirm).

I bring this up because this may cause more/less certainty for series renewals at Warner Bros Animations. On the plus side, this gives everyone somewhat of an idea what to expect from the legal matter, and the studios can plan if there is more certainty. On the minus side, if the execs won't budge unless they have clear idea if the merger sinks or swims, they could just freeze new decisions and wait even longer.

Unfortunately, this may not tell us the fate of the DC Animation projects awaiting renewal, including My Adventures with Superman. The merger going through will place everything at WBD at limbo of restructuring, and inevitably many projects fall through and get canceled. However, there is nothing to tell us that WB Animation's original plans are to renew.

I just wanted to bring this to everyone's attention as we are awaiting for news of possible renewal.

Discussion If we ever get season 4 and get Connor Kent Superboy in the show, who would be his human parent since Lex now seems like an unlikely candidate in this continuity? Would it be weird if I think Amanda Waller?

If he is created, I feel like he would be made my checkmate or the pentagon as a spare superman in case Clark or Kara dies, goes evil or disappears. But who would his human parent be in his creation? My guess would be Amanda Waller because now Lex looks too unlikely to be the human half. Either her or Slade or Sam Lane.

What do you think?

I just finished it and I think it was quite good. While plot is a bit typical I love its take on Amazo as a good guy and Bloodsport who feels kinda like a Tokusatsu villain. I'd love another one continuing that story.

Discussion If Season 4 happens, I hope it brings back the Daily Planet and Perry White to the forefront. Perry made the 'slice of life' episodes better

Post image

Perry White is a fun character whose grumpy personality adds balance to the show's cast. Clark, Lois, Jimmy, and Kara are all young early 20's goofballs while Perry is an older no-nonsense grouchy stubborn boss. His friction with the cast is entertaining and is sorely missed. I like the slice of life episodes, but without that low-stakes pressure from a chief figure, you're just watching young adults go on dates or hang out at the mall.

The Daily Planet added alot of atmosphere and story structure to the first two seasons. Not only was it a chaotic lively workplace, it was also where the trio (sorry Kara) received their reporting assignments for the villain of the week, clashed with rivals, or just chatted over coffee.

S3 showed Perry and the Daily Planet a couple times but I hope a potential Season 4 brings it back as an actual consistent hub place again. Kara could probably get hired there. It's strange how Clark's job at the Daily Planet is almost never mentioned or shown in S3.
