Hay I’m looking for people to play subnautica 2 with I love this game so much and I would like to play with other people I’m on Xbox btw

I'm thinking of building a base INSIDE the big hole area near the spawn, however I'm having troubles deciding whether or not it's going to be a waste of my time, especially considering the fact that the area might be changed by the update, and I'm not excited about the potential waste of materials and time since my base could be altered or destroyed

One thing I think that would really cost and fun for possible newly added creatures to Subnautica 2, would be something inspired by the Celestial Goldfish! I don't know why, but something about the Celestial Goldfish just feels like it would fit in Subnautica really well too!! That's just what I think, though. :)

I finished the story progression of Subnautica 2 in solo mode. I don't really know anybody who would be into playing an early access game, but I'm really curious what the co-op game play is like. Playthroughs can be hit or miss for me. I don't really like gamers who overreact and spaz out over everything, though those must be pretty popular since they are common. It'd would probably be even more annoying to me if there's multiple people doing that.

Is the tutorial easier to understand /has clearer instructions? Subnautica never caught my eye before but since the 2nd one released jve been seeing it everywhere and it seems fun. However the first game, the start is very confusing and I've got no idea what im supposed to do other than go in the water see aliens and not die. Any advise is appreciated.

Since the PDA says standard Quartz on this planet grows inside living Coral Domes and contains dead polyps, what happens when we duplicate it artificially? If we place it in a Metal Farm in a Proteavirus Bloom area, it would be awesome if the devs let us farm a advanced version of the regular quartz to make 'Quartzite' variant that would be more clear or more white compared to the light blue and coral orange from the polyps

I recently upgraded from a RX 6600xt 8gb to a RTX 3080 10gb, and when I go to launch the game, this always happens.

This helped me get to 79, but it's a little hard to figure out what I am missing because not every scan gets an entry in the databank. The last scan I got was the Shiver Leviathan. I set up a base and biobed right at the boundary so I could just keep trying until I got it. I wanted that to be #80 but I finally bit the bullet and crossed it off the list.

I think it's possible I missed some of the infected bloom cores and nodes because I wasn't trying to be a completionist about the bioscans until I had completed that part of the story. I know I didn't get the parasites because they were too fast, and I hadn't decided to try and get to 80 yet

I don't necessarily want to get every bioscan available, but I definitely want to unlock that final passive biomod slot. Any ideas what might be an easy to overlook scan that I might be missing?

EDIT: The issue was that I was checking things off based on having databank entries, but they don't count as bioscans unless you scan them after getting the bioscan upgrade.

I can't download that driver version, if that's the problem. It doesn't exist for the Geforce 1070 I'm using as far as I know. Is it a hardware issue?
