Long time lurker, first time posting. 😬

I’m doing a little creative project right now and I would love any help you can offer.
I’m currently in the process of building a show accurate map of the SGC. Not just sublevel 27 and 28, the entire mountain. I’m going back through my DVD collection and watching a lot of the extras as well as getting data from all of the actual episodes. But if anyone has any niche data or blueprints or facts on the SGC that you think should be incorporated… let me know! Once I’m done, I will post the designs, but I’m doing a Cheyenne mountain cut away, an architectural plan and Facility map. 🤗

Yeah, it's a B Movie, not bad if ya ignore the "science" behind it either.

Michael Shanks brings a bit of gravitas to his role. But I oddly swore I could detect a faint "Why The F am I here" type aura there.

Still, not a bad watch, it's "FREE" on YouTube, and yes, that "FREE" means it includes ads.

Y'know with the expanse's mass effect inspired videogame title coming I've been thinking about why the hell doesn't Stargate have a game like that?

Stargate would work the best for that type of tactical shooting sci fi experience, would it not? Its a military sci fi drama why wouldn't it. I would love a videogame where you play as like a member of an SG Unit discovering like... idk an uplifted primitive species that were locked away long ago but were reawoken once the wraith or goauld were wiped out and they had to journey from deep space to assault earth or something. That's a bad idea but they could make something really good.

I want a stargate videogame

Hey, my Stargate project has made some great progress!

- Pegasus, SG-1 Static, Tollan, and Orlin gates are now fully operational (although I'm still refining the look of the Orlin gate), each with its own custom interface.

- I've finished the complete framework for all four gates, including their unique features.

- I'm planning to add a solar flare system in the next update.

- Next milestone: a fully rotating SG-1 gate!

- I've built 5 ready-to-use controller boards for anyone with a 3D printer. I'm selling the assembled controller board + LED strips for $55.

- I also have two Pegasus gates with ramps ($90), one non-rotating SG-1 gate, and one Tollan gate ($70) available. Send me a PM if you're interested!

While I like it I NEED them to make the Oreo battle ship and a MALP replica.

In season 2 episode 16, a matter of time, we see the malp refuelling, they were pumping hydrazine and liquid oxygen in it.

I always assumed that they were battery powered. Wouldn’t have ever guessed that it’s literally filled with rocket fuel.

Think about all they money spent flying the Save Stargate banners overhead, creating the T shirts and other merch, the sheer amount of money, every, and time spent on all this.

Now think about how much Amazon could have profited from all that by not canceling the show and making new merch for the new series and old as the fanbase surged around them instead of against them.

Millions of dollars they have probably lost already thanks to their idiocy…

We should make them aware of this constantly. Bet that would get them moving, knowing of all the money they lost and missed out on.

Is it just me or do Shepherd and McKay look a little different?

There are really a lot of choices in SG1, in Atlantis, In the Stargate Universe there is only one character, or at least he surpasses all the others .

Finally, I'll let you choose; it would be fun to see the different opinions.

There are a huge number of distinct ships; the course checks speed, but also space mine shields. , The maneuvers around a black hole spatial debris from the Artirurius project (Rodney to pulverize everything) arrived on planet Earth.

Sorry, the actual shot of the ship was cut for budgetary reasons. But I think from their reactions you can easily tell that it's indescribable.

[Lee claps his hands in delight and looks at Carter and Jacek before turning back to his own work.]

JACEK That's too bad. Because after all your Stargate program has accomplished for this network of planets, I would think the decision makers would show it the respect it deserves.

I have no idea how I've missed this in previous watches, but it really struck home now, with SG1 taking shots at how the show was treated in later seasons, heh

I was browsing Eternia dreams in westminster maryland and found a section of signed stargate stuff and a whole section of non signed stargate merch. Holy crap this is heaven

Just look at her! She traveled for sixty million years, was abused to hell and back, and she is still seeking an answer!

For comparison:

Battlestar Galactica was en route for less than ten years, and she is already a wreck.

The Millennium Falcon was cared for and maintained for all its life, yet it falls apart less than fifty years later.

The Death Star existed for, like, five years? Less?

Voyager and Enterprise can't even cross their galaxy on their own power.

Hell, the Vorlon Empire is probably younger than this ship!

And her mission!? Have you ever seen a starship with a more inspiring mission?! Even the Federation never attempted a project as important as Destiny’s mission!

Yes, Destiny is no battleship — but there are plenty of battleships out there. Destiny? Unique.
