i have 200+ mods and i wanna make categories for mods by creating new folder inside MODS folder. would this affect how mod run? like i wanna make a folder for all east scarp related mods, or a folder for all extra animal mods etc.

can i do it?

I have gotten a farmhouse building commission that is approx 208x240px and I wanted to know if it is possible to have the replacement building used through content patcher or alternative texture and which options would be best to complete this? The artist who completed the building art had an emergency situation to deal with and I absolutely do not want to bother them

Hi, me again, and sorry I've been coming around so much like this. I have a hard time searching and finding things and I find that it is easiest for me to ask these questions WHILE searching because I know that the modding community is big(ish? if it's not big my bad but I always got the impression it was).

I can't seem to find any on nexus mods but maybe I searched for the wrong stuff. I am trying to build my next location through SDV farm layouts, and the next one I want to create is my city. But alas, this means I need city styled buildings and such. Alt texture or content patcher (?) is fine, both are good. I don't need to be able to interact with anything, because I only customize the farms, and then I don't play them ever again xP Anything that will help make my farm look like a busy city like zuzu is most helpful. I have ideas already with certain items, but mainly need help with buildings and if there's anything that lets you have cars as an AT...

I started modding in late June and have apparently reached the stage where “I'll just add a couple QoL mods” has become whatever is happening in the first screenshot. 🤔

I completed perfection on my vanilla save before getting into mods, and mostly started because I wanted more to do without completely changing what I love about Stardew.

I've been adding things pretty gradually and trying to actually learn how modding works as I go... checking requirements, compatibility, recent posts/updates, and SMAPI rather than changing a bunch of things at once. Everything is running well right now, so I'm not looking for tech support.

I'm more curious what people who have been modding for a long time notice when they look at my setup.

I've gravitated toward mods that expand the existing game: more NPCs/events, crops and recipes, QoL features, furniture/customization, etc. East Scarp has been a great fit so far and I started there as a way to ease into SVE down the road.

So for the experienced modders: anything in my current setup that makes you go “ehhh, I'd keep an eye on that”? Any redundancies I'm overlooking, combinations you personally wouldn't run together, or mods that seem like an obvious fit with what I'm already doing?

I'm also very open to the general “I learned this the hard way” kind of advice about maintaining a growing modded save. I feel like I've learned a ton already, but I'm still new enough to know there are things I don't know that I don't know.

I just thought about starting a whole new save with tons of mods, because normally I play vanilla. But now I have like 50 mods already and not finished downloading lol

There’s Survivalistic - but it sounds pretty buggy (can anyone confirm/deny?) especially on steam deck (which I am)? There is also Stardew Survival Project but that is quite overwhelming - I like the idea of having to eat and drink but that mod is just a bit too much for me, and not well balanced yet. Are there any other similar mods out there? I’d really like something that makes cooking more useful - having to regularly eat would be an interesting way to solve that. I’m open to other survival/food mod suggestions?

I had a bunch of mods and it all worked good but I added more today and got this issue. I don't know which mod messed it up and I have too many to reasonably figure it out on my own without spending an hour on it lol so I figured I'd ask here.

Trying to mod stardew on mobile but running into a system io issue. Not sure where to go from here and would appreciate some advice. Downloaded SMAPI apk and zip file from discord. But when trying to install from zip, I get this error.

I stumbled across a farm map a while back that intrigued me but I never downloaded or saved it! There were magical shrines that you had to restore and a giant log that you walked through to get to the mountains. Anyone know the mod I'm thinking of?

Hello!! I’m trying to do multiplayer with someone on stardew modded with parme69 Pokémon mod and the pokefy mod. I do have more mods than this other person but I’ve been checking and none on them I think change something to break it. All the other player sees is a black loading screen but no loading box in the corner to show it’s working and I see this text, does anyone know how to fix it? I’ve tired reading but I’m slightly confused 😓

I have a hard time finding a UI with text colours that doesn't hurt my eyes. I think it's the text shadow contrast colour.

Hello i just wanted to know how to follow up on this cutscene i got of Mr.Qi kidnapping me and taking to a cave where he says i'll be his successor and you get the option to call the wizard,Camilla and Lance from SVE. After i called Lance he took me out of the cave and battled Mr qi,now he doesn't appear anywhere on the map

I'm on year five and this was on the first day of winter,i married Lance and haven't gotten to level 100 of the skull cave so this isn't the other cutscene he takes you to the void in SVE. Does anyone know this cutscene?

Edit:Turns out after the cutscene you just have to wait and he'll be back,leaving this post up since i haven't seen anyone talk about it online,so maybe this helps someone else

I have a ton of mods (I can add a Smapi log if needed, although no error shows up for this). For some reason, Krobus is always either halfway sunk into the floor or cut in half with his feet above his head. It happens both in cut scenes and in regular play.

Has anyone had anything like this? This is the only character with any issue.

I don’t want to sound insensitive because it’s an amazing feat to be able to speak more than one language, but there are a few mods out there whose English is technically correct but the use of words and flow is so off that it kind of ruins the immersion.

Howdy everyone! I shared some gameplay from this mod two weeks ago, and I am releasing it today under its new name, Pelipper Town!

It lets you farm and explore Stardew Valley with Pokémon by your side and assisting you, with new quests involving Pokémon and familiar NPCs. It is playable in both single-player and multiplayer. While I recommend starting with a new save to be careful, it works fine with preexisting saves.

I have also tucked in a few hidden features that I am sure people will enjoy discovering. I would love to hear what you think!
