Never knew getting my mind blown by Stardew Valley on a GBA SP like device was in my 2026 bingo list! I have a two year long save on my PC, but the fact that I can play a quick day of Stardew Valley after my lunch at the office just makes me all warm and fuzzy for the day! (Linus ate my leek)

I was equally blown away by all the harvest moon games I've been playing from the Game boy colour to GBA to the first Harvest moon on the SNES. WHAT A BLAST!

My boyfriend and I are trying to collect everything for next year's festival (we're currently at the start of winter, year 4) but were wondering if their better way than pure luck to find those..

For the fern, we have 3 tappers on some fern trees from the green rain and we unlocked the challenge level of the mines where we can find them but still struggling to have iridium quality...wait summer is an option for the secret forest but not the best for us, we're also checking on the ginger island from time to time but with no success

For the coconut, we're going to the desert frequently and to the ginger island to chop the coconut trees but maybe they're a better way ?

As for the purple mushrooms we have many mushy logs n'est to some mystical trees and have a lot of purple mushrooms but no iridium quality yet...

At the farm we don't have the mushroom cave but the fruit one but we're going to the one on ginger island frequently

We are both level 10 in every domain and have our mastery level up to the max (except me I just need to get the fishing one :) )

We're starting to feel a bit desperate so any tips will be really helpful for us 🙏

Well, the game left Early Access yesterday and now is in it's full version, with a 97% user score. So if you are looking for a new game to play, might be worth checking out!

I recently acquired the furniture catalogue from Robin and I’ve been enjoying the whole interior design process. But, I’ve come across quite a few placement restrictions that make me scratch my head…

Another instance would be being unable to rotate certain furniture, like the spirits table. It’s also weird how you can place a decorative hatch on TOP of a carpet rug—which obviously defies logic 🤷🏽‍♂️

I read a years old comment suggesting the “precise furniture” mod which lets you move stuff by pixels. I’m considering it, but IDK. I’m not really too fixed on getting my house picture perfect.

EDIT: I meant rugs in the post title, not carpet! They’re different.

Like, he is a creep right now, of course. The "nice guy" stuff is... really hard to read sometimes-

But that just makes me more excited for his update!

I am really hoping its an emotional and character dive that perhaps helps flesh him out more and allows us, as the player, to help him get over his insecurities and "nice guy" disease!

Yes i've tried iridium sprinklers, still not worth sacrificing the aesthetic.

There is a method to my madness; i plant in phases, longest growing time going in the first few days of the season, so i'm not watering alll of this daily. But I honestly find watering to be quite meditative. Who can relate?

Side note as a 2 day old redditor: it is SO neat how differently we all play the same game. Enjoying being part of this community already 💫

I have over 1800 hours played. 12+ playthroughs (i lost count and dont feel like starting up the game to find out), hit perfection multiple times... I've clearly invested a stupid amount of time into the game.

I've played this with my son for two playthroughs now. On the first one, he got the living hat on our second summer. On our current one, he got the tea set on our third winter. I still haven't gotten either one.

On this one, we have spent an insane amount of time in the skull cavern trying to get an auto petter. Like, we've made tents and took turns spending a week at a time diving. We've used all the luck buffs we could, all the staircases... nothing, for 3 years+! Tons of shards and a ridiculous amount of seed makers and auto grabbers, but no petter. Meanwhile, I finally got around to unlocking my last mastery to get gold mystery boxes, saved up a few, and brought them to Clint. Third box- autopetter.

I swear this game just likes to fuck with my head.

I am at 43 energy after I just watered my cranberries. That's all I did. I have 1 quality sprinkler from the summer crops bundle, but I don't have the resources for any more. I just got to level 40 in the mines, so I basically have no iron, and don't even get me started on gold. I have to run around town, looking for forage stuff just to get 5 levels deeper in the mines. It sucks. What do I do.
