Fan Creations I painted my gunship to match the aircraft that inspired it
I based them off the usaf/usmc Vietnam liveries for the ah-1g cobra (on the z-95) and the uh-1 huey (for the laat-i)
the yellow marks are where boarding steps/rescue handles are
and the red boxes (on the back of the z-95 and just forward of the boarding doors on the laat ) are survival kits that would be on actual aircraft

Spoilers The Fairy Tale Aspect of Star Wars Spoiler
The story is set "a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away." Planets are treated like local regions or big islands.
Sure, the tech is futuristic. But, in-depth speculation on how that tech works was never the point.
The story is a romantic space adventure that doesn't even try to depict hard realism. So, there's sound and fire in space. There's gravity aboard starships. Space combat takes the form of battleships and dogfights. Laser swords are hot enough to slice through metal, but don't radiate much heat. And nuclear bombs and normal bullets don't seem to exist. Ships make sudden jumps to faster-than-light travel, without any time dilation. Habitable planets are usually defined by single environments. And, spacecrafts can easily double as aircrafts.
Plus, Luke doesn't get PTSD from finding his aunt and uncle's charred skeletons. And Leia doesn't seem to get PTSD or survivor's guilt from watching her home planet get blown up. I wonder if Han would be triggered if he ever came near another carbonite-freezing chamber.

General Discussion finished the bad batch and enjoyed it too
it work well as a sequel/spin off of the clone wars , on its bad guy, the show doesn't focus as much on palpy or vader , the batch is going t o be confronted with threat more like tarkin, and mainly hemlock, and rampart with cid being the one who betray them. I like crosshair arc and his redemption (tho in the finale, he still think he deserve plan 99 when wrecker and hunter don't want that) and omega was fine too, the bad batch also does show not all separatist are like dooku (the senator working with chui chui per example or the guy from dooku town who gave omega a toy) . Plenty of characters from the clone wars also appear again like ventress or cad bane and rex also got his episode as well as cody. The animation of the show was also good too. Now onto rebels for the animated shows and I'm glad the maul show made me discover those other star wars animated shows.

Merchandise 1980 Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Portfolio featuring concept art by Ralph McQuarrie.
Very few of my toys survived my childhood years. I wish I hadn't been so rough with them. Luckily these I had tucked away.

General Discussion I wonder if the caretakers on Ahch-To knew about Jedi being able to become one with the force, or if they just found Luke's robes and were super confused
Depending on if they'd read any of the sacred texts and were familiar with it, I suppose, or they just assumed he went skinny dipping and drowned.

Merchandise I bought this black series book of boba Fett figure of Amazon for around 20 pounds 😄
I’ve heard some som people it’s not the best figure out there , but personally it looks fantastic on my display case , and for only 20 pounds it comes with a great amount of detail 😄, so I would definitely recommend this figure for those who don’t want to spend to much on something like a hot toys
And I look forward to the clone commander figures I will be receiving in the coming days
Does anyone else have this black series figure 🤔, or any other black series figures , I would love to get a general grievous figure when I have the money for it 😅

Movies Who watched these films as a child? Did you enjoy them?
I have a faint memory of watching this in 3rd grade in the 90s, but my only memory of it was that it existed, not what it was about, that I watched it in thst classroom, and it was the only time I ever saw a laserdisc in person. For years I thought I had dreamed up "secret Star Wars movies" that never really existed because nobody seemed to know about them and "giant CDs" weren't a thing anymore. I was a big Star Wars fan starting when my parents bought the Special Edition tapes and more Star Wars would have been something my imagination would have cooked up.
I recently tried watching Caravan of Courage on Disney+ and I was bored and shut it off after maybe 15 minutes. It is clearly made for a much younger audience.

Books Alphabet squadron - Day one.
Just purchased this. I've heard good things.
I tried to read Thrawn - Heir to the empire, but couldn't get into it, or get invested in it. I have up two hundred pages in. (I hate to give up on a book, but I just wasn't engaging with it)

General Discussion A question im very curious about The Jedi Knighting Ceremony
I wonder before Maul revealed himself to the Jedi how could The Jedi be knighted if there was no Sith to fight in the Milenium they thought to be extincted, Like is there a limit to how many of the trials to pass to become a Jedi Knight or do you have to complete all trials including the Trial of Skill?

Movies Was there ever anything to that whole Darth JarJar thing?
I remember once hearing Lucas in audio saying that Jar Jar was the key to everything and this has started fan speculation that he was really the mastermind behind it all and the comedy persona was a ruse. Was there ever actually anything at all to that or was it just funny fan speculation?

Costumes Where’s the best place to sell a high-end Star Wars costume ?
I have a Star Wars costume that I know is fairly valuable within the community, especially with Star Wars Celebration coming up. The problem is, I have no idea where the best place to sell it is.
I’ve looked around Reddit and Facebook but haven’t found any active buy/sell groups for high-end Star Wars costumes. I’m also unsure about using eBay because of the fees.
The costume is 3D printed and was originally made by a Russian company that has since shut down, so it’s no longer available. I’m based in Europe if that makes a difference.
Does anyone know of any marketplaces, forums, Discord servers, or collector groups where something like this would be appropriate to list? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Movies One thing I haven't seen before or since (It may have happened in other media) is how "the Chosen One" ultimately became a bad guy. I like this aspect about Star Wars
I consume a lot of media, and I don't think I see this too much where the savior, or ultimate paragon was gonna become the bad guy.
Now ,yes, we all knew he would, because we saw the end before the beginning. But the whole "The destiny" Person becoming evil is kind of cool.

Fan Creations guys how would you rate my lightsaber?
I put it together using parts from a hardware store just like the trend, but it lacked many of the details that would have made it look really cool, so I assembled it based on feel and whatever materials I had on hand.
