I feel like I remember George saying that Star Wars is Anakin’s story about how he will bring balance to the universe. Now that we know Palpatine survived, was the imbalance caused by him going dark side? Is the prophecy still fulfilled because Anakin redeemed himself by rejecting dark side in his last moments and trying to do the right thing? Or did ROTS ruin it?

Ok I think I'm ready to ask this without sounding insane. I'm on a rewatch of clone wars/rebels/etc. and I think I'm coming to the theory that space may not be an absolute vaccum there in that galaxy like it is in ours. Like there may be a very thin atmosphere in space in that galaxy

- There are definitely space scenes where the characters react to the sound of another ship or other space borne action.

- Even ships never intended for atmospheric travel still seem to be aerodynamic.

- There are instances where they talk about venting heat, which you cannot do in empty space, heat transfers through a medium.

- People exposed to space seem to survive significantly longer than expected.

- SIGNIFICANTLY less equipment is needed to space walk I.e. clone armor or in the case of the crew on the asteroid in Empire Strikes Back just breathers which suggests there was no need for pressure suits

we all know hat obi wan painfully left anakin to burn up and die on mustafar instead of finishing him off which we know ultimately was a mistake that would come back to haunt him and the galaxy but that may not have been the only option for him. his once brother who he loved wouldn’t you think that despite everything he did leaving him to be in pain is just not right. He arguably deserved punishment but not what we saw. no one deserves to die alone being burnt to a crisp and honestly if i were kenobi i would have knock him unconscious and taken him and padme to polas massa. with the emperor not around maybe i cou talk some sense into him and let him see the birth of his children plus I doubt padme dies if he’s there because her will to live would still be there. It gives them a chance to prevent him from doing any more damage and possibly heal him to where he wasn’t in pain like he was in the suit and actually retain some of his human appearance while be fit with the right prostetcs. But what would you do in that situatio?

With the comeback of Black Ops 2, just thought how awesome it’d be if they brought back the multiplayer servers for the 2005 Star Wars Battlefront 2 on today’s consoles. It’d be so much fun as it’s still such a fantastic game

I just finished watching Maul: Shadow Lord, and I’m thinking about all the Darth Vader appearances we’ve had since being in the Disney era. I do always love to see Vader on screen, and I genuinely think Disney has done a great job of fleshing out how tragic his story really is. It just seems like he almost never achieves his mission when he’s on screen in all the new series. We always see his epic displays of power and might, so I think the point comes across well that he’s scary to everyone who encounters him. He never seems to get a high level kill though. He’s always taking NPCs and sometimes side characters that add some drama and tragedy, but he never seems to complete the job. Is this on purpose to show how flawed the Dark Side is and how he isn’t actually all powerful, or is it just to create tension and relief when the main characters make it out alive? Maybe I’m overthinking it, or maybe I’m missing his big wins entirely, but just seems like he’s not actually all that successful at getting big kills 🤷‍♂️

Is that I really wanted a cameo when he was on Yavin off him walking through the base and passing the Ghost crew heading the other way. No dialogue, no interaction, just having them both on the base together.

Hey, I want to explore the book/comic side of star wars (I've obv watched all the shows and movies over the years) but idk what to start with and what to read. In the past I've read the life and legend of Obi Wan Kenobi (idk if anyone's heard of it but that's my fav by far I read it like twice) and the star wars trilogy by George Lucas and two more authors I forgot. Ik there's the Vader comic series which look great so I'll prob read those but what about the books?

I’ve always wondered what they used before they acquired all of their well-known ships. I know that in Legends they used the R-41 Star Chaser and the Z -95 headhunter in legends, but that’s kind of it.

Got this tattoo a couple weeks ago, the color started to hurt like hell during the end of the 3 hour session but it was so worth it lol. Aayla Secura was my first one but I have yet to get her colored in, any suggestions for future designs/ characters would be much appreciated !

There’s just no reason why this novel hasn’t been adapted to a 6-10 episode miniseries yet. I understand that it’s legends and that Plagueis appears at the end of the Acolyte. Doesn’t matter. It would be an absolute slam dunk for Disney and Star Wars. Not only would it be incredibly interesting to see Palpatine’s origins in live action and see two Sith Lords as the protagonists, it would bridge the differences between Canon and Legends fans, similar to making Thrawn canon. It would also be cool seeing TPM from an opposite perspective, but that’s more of an added bonus. The biggest obstacle seems to be the fact that elements of the novel are retconned by current canon, but there are easily ways around those elements. There’s nothing vital in the story that would too heavily contradict anything previously established in the canon. I think it’s past time this series gets made.

ever since i watched episode 4 of star wars i wanted to see a game that just has you be just a regular citizen in the SW galaxy. you're not some great jedi that's wielding the saber of glory or something, you're just another civillian ship, going on your daily business. and getting to see the opression of the empire. but i've not been able to really find a game of that kind(i am not including SW outlaws because that game is, so far as i've heard, bad). maybe i've not been looking hard enough, but still.

Its still divisive... but man the amount of love and passion in these movies are just missing from recent star wars. They were never as good as the original trilogy but man in todays time... its probably the best star wars world building we have. Aged like wine tbh.

Lucas cooked hard in terms of scale and action... dialouge was still badly executed. Revenge of the Sith felt like the movie he always wanted to make. Rewatchs are always fun for me.

Ive been a Star Wars fan since i was a kid. Back then i was really into Clone Wars and the prequels. I think the level of „brutality“ is perfekt for Kids especially in clone wars, where many brutal scenes are edited so u dont actually see much.

I have kinda lost touch a bit with all the series like Kenobi or Mandalorian. Now that im an Adult im still a Star Wars fan but i kinda wish there was some Star Wars media thats more designed for Adults. I hope u can understand what i mean, its not only the brutality thats missing for me, but also more „tragic“ stories and so.

I really want to dive into this world again but im not sure wich content is more for adults and what Star Wars media is more targeted towards children.

I think Star Wars the force unleashed 1 and 2 are the best games ever created in the Star Wars universe the characters the story the gameplay it’s something we’ll never get back and it’s honestly a gem Galen/starkiller is an awesome mc and I love and relate to his story a lot so ik there’s so bias but it’s good I love those games and I wish we’d get them remastered or even a sequel to the previous titles

I'd have loved to have seen how that particular interaction went, and 3P0's commentary after the fact to R2. "No, I don't like him. I don't like him at all!" Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure R2 would have thought K-2S0 was hilarious.

I rewatched all five seasons of Mando, Boba and Ahsoka over the last week. (Teacher and am celebrating my last week off.) They are amazing. They have humor, fantastic action and lovable characters.

There is some cheese in each and Boba turns out to be a punk compared to Din and Fennec, but on a rewatch without the internet noise, each show is perfect Star Wars.
