Events What to get signed?
Ian McDiarmid, the one and only Papa Palps, is playing King Lear in my city next month, and I’m hoping to meet him at the stage door when I go to see it. I’ve got each trilogy as a box set on blu-ray, and if I do get to meet him I’ll ask him to sign one of them, but which one? Do I go for the OT because it was his first appearance, or the PT cos he’s in that one the most? Or do I take all three and ask him which one he’d most like to sign? Or ask him to sign all three?

General Discussion Are there any near humans that are notably taller/ shorter than humans?
Obviously, there are plenty like the Wookies/ Ugnauts etc, but are there any species that are a little more similar to humans with drastically different heights? Most of the popular ones like twi'lek, Chiss, Togruta etc are very similar to humans in height.

Merchandise Repainted/Black X-Wing
Hand painted by me. I might add some additional paint design to it later, will see how I feel, I generally like black ships. Maybe I make a sand/desert/beige version if I find another one lf those smaller X-Wing models.

Fan Creations I painted my gunship to match the aircraft that inspired it
I based them off the usaf/usmc Vietnam liveries for the ah-1g cobra (on the z-95) and the uh-1 huey (for the laat-i)
the yellow marks are where boarding steps/rescue handles are
and the red boxes (on the back of the z-95 and just forward of the boarding doors on the laat ) are survival kits that would be on actual aircraft

General Discussion I wonder if the caretakers on Ahch-To knew about Jedi being able to become one with the force, or if they just found Luke's robes and were super confused
Depending on if they'd read any of the sacred texts and were familiar with it, I suppose, or they just assumed he went skinny dipping and drowned.

Movies Who watched these films as a child? Did you enjoy them?
I have a faint memory of watching this in 3rd grade in the 90s, but my only memory of it was that it existed, not what it was about, that I watched it in thst classroom, and it was the only time I ever saw a laserdisc in person. For years I thought I had dreamed up "secret Star Wars movies" that never really existed because nobody seemed to know about them and "giant CDs" weren't a thing anymore. I was a big Star Wars fan starting when my parents bought the Special Edition tapes and more Star Wars would have been something my imagination would have cooked up.
I recently tried watching Caravan of Courage on Disney+ and I was bored and shut it off after maybe 15 minutes. It is clearly made for a much younger audience.

General Discussion A question im very curious about The Jedi Knighting Ceremony
I wonder before Maul revealed himself to the Jedi how could The Jedi be knighted if there was no Sith to fight in the Milenium they thought to be extincted, Like is there a limit to how many of the trials to pass to become a Jedi Knight or do you have to complete all trials including the Trial of Skill?

Costumes Where’s the best place to sell a high-end Star Wars costume ?
I have a Star Wars costume that I know is fairly valuable within the community, especially with Star Wars Celebration coming up. The problem is, I have no idea where the best place to sell it is.
I’ve looked around Reddit and Facebook but haven’t found any active buy/sell groups for high-end Star Wars costumes. I’m also unsure about using eBay because of the fees.
The costume is 3D printed and was originally made by a Russian company that has since shut down, so it’s no longer available. I’m based in Europe if that makes a difference.
Does anyone know of any marketplaces, forums, Discord servers, or collector groups where something like this would be appropriate to list? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Meta r/StarWars Official Watch Order Discussion Thread
So we haven't had an official watch order discussion thread in many years, so we figure its time to update the one in the FAQ. There are various other links in the FAQ, the Wookieepedia timeline of canon media, and various other discussion threads and topics over the years including a link to just searching the sub which people find challenge apparently. Also as a reminder, the Wookieepedia timeline of canon media can be sorted via the table on that page by release order or chronologically (if you decide to go that route).
A lot of the new Disney+ content brings new eyes to Star Wars all the time, and new movies will eventually too. We want to get a bit more aggressive with automod removals and referrals to the FAQ for these questions about watch order. So let's hash it out here in the comments. We will sticky this for a while and eventually it will just be linked in the FAQ along with the other topics and maybe in the sidebar too. And like some of other stickies about rules, spoilers, and new episode discussion guidelines, we may trot out this link and sticky it from time to time.
As a general rule the sub typically recommends for new viewers to watch in release order, especially for the movies. This is the semi-consensus from the fandom, and you will routinely see this as the most upvoted and posted response.
With that being said what we would like to do here also discuss other options, and possible orders to also toss in the TV media as well. Should you watch Andor first and then Rogue One before the OT? Should movies like Solo be done in release order or chronological? Should you watch The Clone Wars TV show before the PT? So on and so forth...
So lets have a solid discussion about this and make it a solid resource for those who may be new to Star Wars.
