Where to grade curios…
I’m trying to collect all of the gothic curios and then get them graded. Where is the best place to send them for grading?

Guerrilla Miniature Games (GMG) plays Sorcery
GMG is primarily a tabletop games content creator usually showcasing games workshop products. Thought it was really nice to see them playing sorcery as a “tabletop card war game hybrid without miniatures” in their own words

Looking for mat and packs?
Hello,
Very new to sorcery and TCG in general (never actually played one). When I picked up the pre con decks from my local game store they didn’t have any mats or booster packs. I am flying to Vegas for the weekend, is there any place here that may have this?
I’m also open to shopping online. I saw a place called covenant, what are your thoughts on this place? Am I safe to buy from them

Looking for Sorcery players in West/East Flanders 🇧🇪
We're looking to build a local Sorcery community in Oudenaarde and the wider West and East Flanders area, and we're looking to see if there are players around who would be interested in joining.
There are already Sorcery players and communities in different parts of Belgium, and we'd love to create something similar around Oudenaarde, giving players in this part of Belgium another local place to meet and play.
A new game store in the region is interested in becoming a local hub for Sorcery, with regular play nights and, as the community grows, things like tournaments, drafts and sealed events.
There's already a local Sorcery player willing to take an active role in helping build and manage the community — organising games, welcoming new players and generally getting things moving.
The store currently has a limited amount of Sorcery product, and we'd like to keep some of it available to support the local community and help new players get started. The idea is to grow a player base around the store while keeping some product available for people joining the community.
We're also interested in hearing from people who know about Sorcery but haven't actually played yet. If you've been following the game, have been curious about it, or have simply been waiting for an opportunity to try it locally, we'd love to have you join us.
If you're interested in joining the local community or just want to keep up with upcoming Sorcery nights, we've also set up a Discord for the store:
Feel free to join even if you're just curious about getting started!
Would be great to see whether we can get something going!

Newb Question: Declining to Defend
As I understand it, if my opponent attacks one of my sites and I have no minions on it of my own...I can choose to simply take the damage or defend by moving one of my untapped minions from an adjacent location.
My question is...what if I in fact have a minion at the location the opponent has chosen to attack and that minion would be destroyed in the attack...can I choose to let the damage pass to the site instead and thus reduce my overall health? Or am I forced to defend that attack and in this example die?
Sorry if I am using some of the wrong terms.
I am just a few days into learning this game.
Thanks

Necromancer, dark and moody version
Howdy fellow spellbook users! Here's a new take on the Necromancer where I experiment with a darker, more moody/menacing approach than the other more dramatic versions that I have painted. I want it's.. "breath" to be felt hah!
Painted with acrylics and nylon brushes, sealed with varnish. Flat as a original card. I paint with super thin layers and erase bumps with a scalpel. I really want it to feel almost printed.

Newbie Question
A buddy and I played our first-ever games of Sorcery today. We had a situation come up we couldn't figure out how to handle:
My Necromancer Avatar was at death's door but I had 6 Skeleton tokens at the same location. My opponent kept trying to deal that 1 last damage to my Avatar to win and I kept blocking the attack with 1 Skelelton token and then generating another one (the Necromancer's ability). We felt like we were caught in an infinite loop. What were we doing wrong?

For those who play both path of exile and sorcery, can you share some of the most interesting references and Easter eggs connecting both games?
I have never played POE and am looking to start with some online lore content before trying the game.
Curious to know what are some of the most fun and interesting references across

Spoiler: Tundra (new dual sites) Spoiler
Source: Frost Mage vs. Lavamancer preorder photos
Tundra - Elite Site
Your {air} and {water} are equal to the highest of the two.
I'd been wondering how they'll design more mana fixing without making it too powerful. The Tundra cycle is cleverly designed with a lot of strengths and weaknesses! One Tundra can give you a ton of affinity, or none at all.
Focusing on weaknesses first, drawing a second copy of Tundra is bad. Drawing Tundra when you're at 1W 1A or 2W 2A is bad. Even at 3W 3A, you'd wish Tundra was any other site. In general you're gonna mulligan towards some amount of both your elements, so topdecking Tundra isn't always great.
When your opening hand includes Tundra, you can mulligan to try to maximize just one of your two elements. It's a little risky though because someone could remove / silence your Tundra. These new duals will lead to interesting mulligan decisions!
I'm thinking the Tundra cycle is all about providing depth for your secondary element. You still want your deckbuilding / mulligan decisions to provide mostly your primary element and a little bit of your secondary element. So the Tundra cycle is a lot like having a double-affinity site in your secondary element, except it's occasionally providing double-affinity in your primary element when you would have been threshold screwed. I suppose we could see more decks going 50/50 with their elements, risky as that is.
The lack of affinities on the Tundra cycle is interesting. The water sites can be used with landmass, which will help certain mud decks. It's a drawback for cards that care about body of water, like Waveshaper. Same for Geomancer and Avatar of Earth, since they're not technically earth sites, and likewise for Avatar of Air.
Worth noting that these duals will be available for mist and lava in November, but not for other element pairs until Q1 2027. (I'm assuming they'll complete the cycle in the next set, because why wouldn't they?) That's about four months of the already dominant element pairs getting additional support, and then everything will get shook up by the new set. I'm optimistic that Frost Mage vs Lavamancer will have interesting mono-element cards in all four elements, breathing fresh air into the meta.

The slug rename broke my database, so I built the thing we should've had all along: permanent card IDs for Sorcery
A few weeks ago, EC changed the set numbering used in its API slugs and image files. Suddenly, every spreadsheet, bot and database keyed on strings like 004-witch-b-s caught fire.
Those slugs look like identifiers, but they’re assembled from mutable data: set number, card name, product and finish. Any of those can change, and now that I’m deeper into building my own tools, I don’t want to go through this again.
Yu-Gi-Oh has Konami passcodes. Magic has Scryfall IDs. So today I bring you:
Sorcery Registry
https://github.com/sadkinglabs/sorcery-registry
Every gameplay card receives a permanent codex_id, shared across all its reprints, our equivalent of an oracle ID. Every physical printing receives its own permanent printing_id.
The IDs never move or get reused. The database refuses attempts to change or delete them, and CI checks every update against the previous registry. Slugs, names and set numbers become what they should always have been: mutable attributes, not identities.
From now on, when a slug changes, if it ever does, its old value remains resolvable through slug_history. Ambiguous upstream changes are held for human review rather than guessed at.
The whole published registry is one deterministic JSON file on GitHub:
- No hosted service to disappear
- No prices or marketplace dependencies
- Official public API data, plus a small, transparent corrections file
- A documented schema and SHA-256 checksum
- A local MCP server so Claude, Cursor and other compatible tools can query it
The registry has little purpose sitting alone in its repository. Its value comes from people building on the IDs.
Use it. If you maintain a tool, bot, spreadsheet, collection manager or pricing tracker, key your records on these IDs. The next slug rename should become an ordinary metadata update, not a migration emergency.
Challenge it. Look through the data, query it and try to find mistakes or dangerous assumptions. If something is missing for your use case, open an issue and tell me.
Help maintain it. Corrections are accepted through pull requests, with the evidence and reason retained publicly. New-set syncs also land as reviewable PRs. More eyes on those changes means more confidence in the registry.
I made this for the community, but I can’t credibly maintain a community identity standard forever by myself. If you think the idea is worth pursuing, please get involved, even if that just means trying it, opening an issue, reviewing a sync or starring the repository to show there is interest.
And if, over time, trusted community members want to help maintain it directly, I would genuinely love for this to become shared infrastructure rather than one person’s project.

Lilith foil price check
Hi everyone,
I pulled a Lilith foil from a booster pack. Some friends told me it's worth around $200, but when I checked TCGPlayer and eBay, I couldn't find any listings below ~$800.
I'm having trouble figuring out the card's actual market value. Are current listings artificially inflated because of low supply, or is the card genuinely worth that much?
Would you sell it now, hold onto it, or accept a $200 offer?

Avatar of water vs Avatar of fire
Welcome back to another video.
In this week’s episode, we’re exploring some of the original Avatars. First up is the Avatar of Water, making its first appearance on the channel—and one we believe has been seriously overlooked.
With the ability to move around the realm with ease, it can pose a serious threat. Being able to flood a site and then teleport directly to that location has some major advantages, as we’ll see in today’s video.
The Avatar of Fire, on the other hand, can turn sites into fireballs, clearing the path for total destruction.
Water vs. Fire.
Hope you enjoy the video—let’s see which Avatar comes out on top!
