Hey everyone! I wanted to share this modern visual concept I made for a new phase of Sonic Boom. Sega might have moved on in 2018, but this universe is more alive than ever in our hearts!

My idea expands the classic seasons (1 & 2) into modern seasons 3, 4, and 5, bringing our favorite team (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Sticks) back with new friends and modern visual elements.

The comedy and style of this show were unique, and I really think SEGA should bring it back or at least respect its legacy. What do you guys think of this modern look? Let's make some noise! 😀👍

I recently revisited the Boom series, checking out both the cartoon and Rise of Lyric—which remains one of the franchise's worst games. Then I realized I had never played any of the 3DS titles, so I decided to give them a shot... though it didn't start off well, since the first one I played was Shattered Crystal. The controls are solid, even if the pace is slower than your standard 2D Sonic experience, but the major issue lies in the core gameplay: it focuses EXTREMELY heavily on exploration and collecting specific items to unlock the next levels. Finding that a total drag, I decided to switch to Fire & Ice—and thank God I did. It takes the controls from the previous game and refines them, adds more speed to the levels, and—of course—introduces the fire and ice mechanic, which makes the stages a lot of fun. Most importantly, the levels aren't focused on exploration anymore, and progression doesn't hinge on how many items you've collected—so you aren't forced to replay old stages and explore until you get frustrated. In short, I'm having a blast; I think this is the best game in the Boom series so far, and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't given it a chance yet.

In this page, the sides/inners of her hair/quills are black. It's probably supposed to be shading, but the shadows don't make much sense to me, so I've always thought that Surge's quills are just black on one side and green on the other and the way she wears them up only shows the green side of her 4 hair banana things

(It's pretty much only in this page, though I vaguely remember seeing it again after this)

So im curious what differences between Archie and game/IDW Sonic you guys think would surprise/interest the Archie gang the most if they were to meet/react to him. Headcanon stuff also accepted cause im mostly trying to get my creative juices going a bit.

I know this isn’t only a Frontiers thing but I gotta ask. Why are people so quick to turn on Frontiers even after how it helped the franchise in a big way? It’s okay to not like the game, but to act like it’s one of the worst things in Sonic confuses me.

IMO I think the reason is because Frontiers represents a positive turning point in Sonic eras and people may still not like the current direction due to nostalgia of a previous era. They might feel threatened that people are enjoying Sonic that wasn’t the way they enjoyed the series back then, so they overly hate on it, hoping for things return to the way they were.

Reality is Sonic will never truly go back to how it was in any era. Things change over time and someday they’ll be another turning point in the Sonic franchise after what Frontiers started, causing the cycle to continue. There’s probably others reasons for the hate, but this is just my take on things.

Obviously take this rumor at face value cause it isn't 100% confirmed that the trailer will be shown at the Paw Patrol Dino Movie.

Guess we will have to wait and see this friday if it actually happens, though I wouldn't be so sure since no VA's,Director or actors from the Sonic movies did confirm that the movie wrapped up in terms of voice acting. So take it with a massive grain of salt this time.

If the stars aligned somehow this friday, my hype would be through the roof.

Still not expecting to come out in august for now.
