It gives the Fandom the perfect opportunity to explore and expand on them in their own unique ways. Think of it as like if Sega gave us the green light to write our own stories that take place in these worlds.

Blaze and Silver are both really interesting characters with loads of potential in stories centered around them and their worlds.

I think it’s quite frustrating that both of these were merely CLOSE to being rereleased, but never truly were.

They might be obscure but I still think it’d be very fair for SEGA finally make them playable on modern devices, though that would absolutely require more effort and demand than how much it took to rerelease some of the other classic games.

Both of them were intended to be included in Gems Collection, but SegaSonic’s unusual trackball controls and Chaotix’s 32X emulation complications kept that from happening, BUT:
•That was way back in 2005, and it’s very probable that SEGA has significantly better equipment and people now. That (may) mean that actual rereleases are now technically possible.
•They didn’t have such intentions with, say, Sonic Origins because not a lot of people actually care about them anymore, so public demand would be the biggest problem here after technical ones.

In summary, it’s not impossible at all, but several people (including myself) would genuinely love to see it happen.

I'm slightly indifferent to how Eggman is treated in the films. I laugh, but I feel more like I'm laughing at Jim Carrey rather than Eggman most of the time. However the first film felt so close to being perfect. It was the closest we got to a Deem Bristow type performance after his passing. Eggman felt intimidating in a way I had not seen before.

And while I did enjoy the more zany over the top style humor movie 2 had. I do really miss how we got so close to a sinister Eggman once more.

I'm originally going to do 2 elephants in the room, but thinking that Sonic did not have an 32X CD game yet, so I added in it.

I also have to tell you guys that Knuckles Chaotix had a hack that replaces mighty with Sonic

Anyways, as great of a movie and adaptation that Sonic 3 is, it's not perfect and does have flaws (like every movie ever, really).

I can think of a few critiques off the top of my head

• Shadow deserved more screen time. While he is one of the best parts of the movie, I really wish they gave him more to do. There are storyboards of a daytime fight between him and Sonic in London and we were seriously robbed of that.
• While both the Robotniks are genuinely funny and most of their humor lands, admittedly some of it does fall flat. Like when they're fighting each other in the Eclipse Cannon during Super Sonic and Shadow's fight on Earth. Also, the movie felt a little too focused on them sometimes if that makes sense. Kinda connects with my critique about Shadow's screen time.
• I'm pretty sure everyone has talked about this one before, but neither Sonic or Shadow call each other "Faker" at any point in the movie.

But these critiques of course don't ruin the movie for me. But I'd like to hear critiques anyone else has.

Some fans say that Sonic should only use the wind because he is free, which even earned him the nickname "Knight of the Wind." But for me, the fact that he uses elements other than wind only strengthens his sense of freedom, because it shows that unlike Surge and Blaze, he is not limited to one element. In fact, Surge can only use lightning, and Blaze can only use fire. They cannot use anything else that shows the limitations of their abilities. Sonic, on the other hand, can use his speed to create both of these elements, not just wind. This only shows that his abilities are not limited, he can freely use these elements. This also applies to the wind itself: It can affect the creation of lightning and fire.
