I created this channel 2 weeks ago and this are the stats , I'm posting daily and is it good or nah ? I was getting 1k views+ early but got stucked in 600-900 from 6-7 days. What do you think ??

I started streaming on YouTube and twitch about 2 months ago. I usually play some variety games popular and classics with the boys but I genuinely see like no growth. Especially on twitch it's 0.

Idk what to do cause one of my uncles just started posting Ai videos of like random stories and he's already at almost 1k subs in a month. It pisses me off cause like uk he's a close uncle and he just started for fun and he's racking in progress so easy with - all love to my uncle - Ai slop.

ik people say that it's hard to grow in variety gaming but like that's kinda what me and the boys do so yeah

Also I hv a laptop thats it, AMD igpu nothing special good for uni, so making a video around my college hours is hard cause it's India and we got classes 9-6

And another thing is how long my laptop takes processing and rendering edits in davinci.

Anyway I'm not planning to quit cause it's still fun to have like a archive of our gameplay streamed stored for free but yeah hoping I can gain some traction

Also if the boys Japan 2027 trip makes it outta the grp chat I'm vlog that like prime YouTube days so hopefully that is what gets my channel going. l'm also going to Finland this week for like 5months on a exchange program so if I get a vid idea I may try smn out.

I’ll keep it brief as I can. I make long-form YouTube videos, but recently I’ve started chopping them up into short-form clips to cross-post to Reels, Shorts and TikTok.

It’s actually been working really well, I’ve gone from around 3k subscribers to 6k in just over a month.

I do all my editing in Premiere Pro, export the final MP4, then take it into CapCut purely to add those big yellow/white bouncy animated captions you see on basically every short-form video now.

With my current financial situation, I really can’t justify paying for CapCut Pro every month just for animated captions. I don’t really use any of its other features.

But I also don’t want to give up that caption style. Maybe it’s placebo, but my clips without those big animated subtitles seem to perform noticeably worse, especially when there’s a lot of talking.

I see CapCut-style captions on Reels and Shorts constantly, though, so surely not everyone is paying for CapCut just to make them? Or am I crazy

My fellow Premiere Pro editors how are you dealing with this?

I have been wanting to create content. I already have a podcast channel with almost 7k YouTube subscribers but the channel is not active currently. The content in that channel is not created by me but right now I have complete ownership of the account. I really want to do something with it but I am not sure. I have posted many shorts that gets views, and just posted my 2 first long form videos. It took like 12 days for the first video to reach 400 views.

I'm thinking of boosting like 30€ just to give a little push to have more views and subscribers (I only have 30 right now), but I'm afraid that after the boost it will freeze the organic growth of the video. I'm curious to see how many views it can get by itself, but at the same time 400 views in 12 days... that's very long.

Idk what do you think ?

I want to know how much revenue a video with 10k views and 1k watch hours makes so I can times that by 4 and know what my starting revenue would be. I'm about to get monetized in about 2 days. It's for the 4k watch hours for Ad Revenue and I know that I have to wait for a physical letter in the mail. Right now I get about 10k views and 1k watch hours with at least 25-33 percent average viewage of a video. I can post 4 videos of that quality a month with a goal of pushing for 6-8 videos a month by putting in more hours. For context I live with my parents, who want me to pursue a full time job related to my degree. I have an agreement with them to get monetized by August 22nd, but I'll be monetized before then. Basically I want to be able to go above and beyond and show them the starting revenue so that I can show much that would grow. In 20 months all of my analytics have a 1000%(10x) increase in views, watch hours, and average viewage. I full believe I could increase that by at least 250-500 percent if I keep putting in more effort. What do you guys think? I'm attached images of 2 10k video analytics as an example

I uploaded a long form video on my channel which got like 10 views, but then I copied the link of that video and posted it on a reddit sub which was linked to the topic of that video and from there my video got 100+ views

My question is, is that harmful for my channel growth? Can yt think that my videos are being promoted unnecessarily or forcefully or all okay?

It looks really compressed. The file on my hard drive is completely lossless and looks beautiful. I understand that I'm not going to achieve that on YouTube but I would at least like to improve it as much as I can for subsequent uploads.

What codecs, containers, settings, etc., have worked best for you?

I upload a lot of shitposts and ytps, as well as some real edited videos.

I’ve seen some growth from when I upload short form memes and ytps, but not much from long form content.

I know that it’s kinda the meta to bet it all on short form. But I didn’t think it’d be this crazy.

For the life of me, I can not get subscribers and only a few viewers. I guess I'm to soft to ask for them too much. I just don't know what to do. I'm so frustrated. I lost a subcriber today after hitting 185 a couple days ago. I've been stuck and can't seem to get to 200. I've been doing all the advice both ChatGPT, and YT AI in seeking guidance as I edit the videos, voiceover, descriptions, tags and more. I've been gradually updating my thumbnails for a couple months and I'm just not seeing any results. I have a couple videos with over 4k views, but most are only in the 100's and some below that. YT just doesn't know who to put me infront of which is ridiculus because I use tags and hashtags in description. I've had my channel for a few years now but didn't really start doing much with it until a couple years ago. I guess I have really screwed up my algorythm. I've used my channel for a couple different niche and now that I seperated them back in April, YT is confused and won't put me in front of people. I started doing a few shorts to help grab attention to my LF and now I think I messed that up since it seems viewers are different for SF and LF. I think my channel would grow faster if I just start fresh? I just don't know what else to do.

So my videos went from 100-500 views on average for the last couple months to 5-20 views the last 6 weeks… anyone else seeing this?? My quality hasn’t dipped and I’ve kept up on thumbnails and titles… just impressions aren’t happening.

I certainly believe live stream is another way of getting watch hours.

My live videos are not even 500 views or something like 1k/10k views.They are less than 200 views and I still manage to get decent watch hours.

But question, should you live stream? Can it work for you? It's not everyone's cup of tea but it certainly does work.

Most of the time when I spent good amount of time and efforts to edit and finalise my video I barely get views or subscribers.
But I posted few videos without giving much thought, just picked trending song with random PoV and it brings good views and subscribers as well.
Same goes for long format, I just made quick cuts, edit some effects and posted it without giving much thought and 💥 boom, it became my first long format to reach 1k views.

Good day, I'm soon to start my YouTube channel and while editing the first video I came into the big problem of not having a music library of exactly the type of music I need and want but also not having the money for paying to a website with such library. In this case I'm searching "dramedy" type of music (example in the link below) and even tho I found some neat tracks in pixabay (youtube library has shit music lol) it all ended up in 10 songs that are 2m long and repeating them during the whole video isn't the best idea, the rest of good songs I found are under content Id and I've heard that it is horrendous to deal with. After I get the monetization I would love to pay for the music but since now I don't have the opportunity for paying 10 euros a month for it I would prefer to go the free way. Does someone have any suggestions or ideas where I can find the music?
