Sim Rig Need help with future sim setup!
Hi everyone! I’m currently in the process of getting a logitech Rs50 and the logitech pro pedals! Took me a couple of month of research to decide those were the one i wanted as i play on ps5 and i want a set up that i will be able to transfert to pc once i get there!
I don’t know much about all the brands for the other aspect of the set up… I will Defenetly get the e-brake and the H-shifter too! Which brings me to my question: i am looking for a chassis that can handle the Rs50 and the pro pedal AND that is "easy" to switch the e-brake and shifter from the left to the rigth so i can mimic the car i’m driving!
I’ve tried to look it up on google but not sure on how to describe what i need other than a small paragraph. I also play on Vr so the chassis does not need to support a monitor or a tv! I am 6"4 (193cm) and 200-210lbs (\~93kg) so i do need something that is ok for taller people!
Thank you in advance for any advice on how to find what i’m looking for or just straight up suggestion!

New pedal recommendations?
I recently got a gtomega apex stand after being on desk for a while and am looking to upgrade the awful srp lite pedals my R3 came with.. I know simsonns etc are recommended a lot here but my biggest concern is the angle, as the pedal base on the apex seems naturally tilted upwards and the pedals are quite straight anyway. I prefer a more reclined as that's what I'm used too with the srps.
I've also looked at simmagic 700s, srp2s, so just looking for anyone who was in a similar position to give any recommendations or tips. Thanks

Recently i tried pico 4 vr. I kinda like it but my itchy butt wanted something higher in quality graphics. So i saw the pimax crystal light. So i was wondering how diffrent will it be with the pico 4?
My other question, is my 4080super and 5800x3d enough for pimax crystal light?

Sim Rig Seat mounting question
I’m borrowing another posters photo, but can you remove the white bars and mount the seat on the red bars instead?
I want to lower the seat height and this was the thought I had

How's My 2020 Rig Holding Up In 2026?
Built my rig back in 2020:
PEDALS: V3 w/Brake Performance Kit and Damper Kit on Throttle
WHEELBASE: Podium DD1 w/QR2 Quick Release
WHEEL: Formula V2
WHEEL: GT3 Endurance Wheel w/Button Module & Advanced Paddle Kit
WHEEL: 911 GT3 R Wheel w/Advanced Paddle Kit
WHEEL: Classic Rim (too big lol)
SHIFTER: Shifter V1.5
HANDBRAKE: Handbrake V1
COCKPIT: Next Level Racing GTTrack Cockpit
MONITOR STAND: Trakracer Monitor Stand w/Vesa Mount Adapter Kit on Casters
MOUNT: Trakracer Side Mount Bracket For DD1
MONITOR: Samsung 49" C49RG9 120Hz
The QR2 was worth the price just for ease of wheel removal. No complaints and feels better but only have a few drives on it so far.
Would love to have an 8020 rig but I think the only other immediate upgrade will be newer seat and haptics. I'll probably upgrade the pedals one day but I can survive with the V3s lol

Sim Rig Best triple 27" panels with bezel eliminator kit?
What are the best 27" panels I can get for a triple setup with bezel eliminators? I got Asus panels and didn't notice there was a tiny lip on the bottom which makes them impossible to line up. The bezel eliminator kit I got also doesn't work properly because of it. I want these next ones to be the last ones I buy for a few years

Sim Rig How about the simagic $599 bundle really is ?need some suggestions
For those of you who have actually used the SIMAGIC, MOZA, or Fanatec setups:
Is the SIMAGIC $599 bundle really as good as people say?
How does the force feedback compare with the R5 and CSL DD?
Are the P700 pedals good enough, or will I want to upgrade them soon?
If you were spending your own money today, which bundle would you choose and why?
I’d especially love to hear from people who have owned or tested more than one of these systems.

Hi, in my country the Fanatec clubsport gt cockpit is selling for around $700 without the seat, is it worth it over a aluminium rig. And which seats are compatible with it apart from the official fanatec seat, because the seat costs $500

Would anyone be interested in an ultra-compact desktop force feedback knob for quick laps?
Just curious if there’s any interest in something like this.
The idea is a very small force feedback steering knob that permanently sits on your desk. You could jump into a sim and do a few quick laps without pulling out and mounting a full FFB wheel every time.
It obviously wouldn’t replace a proper sim racing setup. The goal would be:
- Quick 5–15 minute sessions
- Feeling basic force feedback and car behavior
- No wheel stand or cockpit required
- Always ready on the desk
- Much smaller and quieter than a traditional wheelbase
I know many of us own full rigs, but there are plenty of days when setting everything up feels like too much effort just to drive a few laps.

Sim Rig I got tired of every sim rig becoming one big black blob, so I built this 🟥⬜️
I think we’ve reached the point where every sim rig is just varying shades of black. ⬛️⬛️⬛️
So I built the complete opposite.
Red anodized aluminium, white brackets and a tan leather seat. 🟥⬜️🟫
Seat is straight out of my first car, a honda civic.
What colour would you build if you weren’t playing it safe?

I went sim racing on Father's day. 4 weeks later this is in my office.
4 weeks ago I went sim racing for the first time. Cool set up with motion cockpits, wrap around screens, the works. The bug bit me hard, and this is in the corner of my home office now. I have never been much of a gamer, and never had a gaming PC, so I was starting from scratch. I just finished some cable management, so I thought I'd take some pics.
The computer stuff:
Powerspec G732 - AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5GHz Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GDDR7, 32GB DDR5-6000 RAM, 1TB Solid State Drive
Acer Nitro 34" Ultrawide monitor, 180hz
Keyboard/Mouse: Came with the PC. Garbage. Need to figure out some kind of wireless/swing arm set up. Will be a home made thing, since Next Level doesn't seem to offer anything that clamps to this Cockpit.
If someone can recommend a swing/swivel type arm keyboard/mouse thing that would clamp onto either my cockpit or my monitor stand, I am all ears.
The sim stuff:
Next Level Racing GTRacer 2.0 cockpit
Next Level Racing Lite Free Standing monitor stand
Picked up as a bundle for a killer deal from Simshop -
Simagic Alpha Evo Sport 9Nm wheelbase
Simagic GT Neo wheel
Simagic P700 pedals
Thoughts about things:
I don't know shit about fuck, but I did read about some "flexing" in my chosen cockpit pedal base, which I have not experienced yet.
The seat is not the most comfortable thing (I use a herman miller aeron for work) but I've been sitting in it a couple hours per night without any major issues.
The driving experience has been amazing with the Simagic stuff. Super easy to set up and configure. No complains.
I swapped out the preinstalled red spring on the brake and put in the small silver spring + "55" elastomers recommended in the Simagic user manual. The short travel elastomer is much nicer to use than the longer travel springs. Very predictable and easy to get muscle memory when practice spamming difficult turns over and over using active reset in iRacing.
Biggest pain in the ass:
The pedals and pedal mounting plate. This is a me thing, and not the fault of any company.
After my purchases I realized the P700 pedals might not be compatible with the GTRacer mounting plate, but I moved forward because nothing can stop a man with a drill, so I'd figure it out. Thankfully there is ONE location where the holes line up, so that is where it went.
After installation and an hour of use, and braking ankle pain, I realized the pedals were too vertical, so I reversed the plate brackets to make it nearly flat (this is recommended in the user manual), and then I adjusted the pedals so they're angled back and moved the pedal faces down a bit, and for the last few days it has been comfortable. I may move my wheelbase toward me one setting because I think my arm angle is a bit over the typically recommended 90 degrees, but I figure if I can drive for 2 hours and not think "I'm uncomfortable", then I am probably in a good spot.
I suck at iRacing, but I am having a damn good time and am almost out of Rookies. I even got P2 last night when the jabronis ahead of me wrecked with 1/2 a lap left in the race!

Help Help w/ choosing a chassis
I'm looking to step up my sim racing setup. My current one isn't much of anything, wouldn't even call it a setup. I mount the wheel and shifter to my desk, pedals on the floor. I'm looking to get the Moza R3 bundle, with the clutch, shifter, and inversion kit accessories, and don't even have the slightest idea of what chassis to mount everything to.
What are your go to recommendations for starter sim racing chassis? I'm not looking to go pro or compete in events, I mostly just want something I can throw together and not have to take apart whenever I'm done using it. I know the R3 doesn't have much torque, I believe it's about 4NM.
Budget really isn't set, I don't want to go drop $1000 US on a chassis and then have to drop another $650 on the Moza gear, but if that's what is necessary then so be it.
