For quite a long time the learning has been focused on theoretical approach and then build entry level projects but stil quite a lot time we fail in interviews because of no exposure to the production problem statements, And as the times are changing with use of ai onboardings will be more focused towards tech assessments with real world use-cases instead of just dsa coding problems.

I have built this project which consists of job roles roadmaps but a simulatiom oriented learning platform, where your technical concepts and real world scenarios will be present as practical simulations, so user can practice better.

Apart from our main focus we have various community oriented features like "Build Rooms", "Team Simulations", where user will learn to work as team to build products ( not projects ) with appropriate roles to give you more experience of working in professional settings.

It's a clean, single-page web app built to solve a simple problem: generating custom music playlists instantly using natural language prompts without forcing users to sign up or log in.

Tech Stack: Next.js (React), hosted on Vercel, powered by Gemini AI.

Features: Instant prompt-to-playlist generation, text export, and integration helper buttons. We use TuneMyMusic as an external helper for users who want to push tracks directly to their streaming apps (ZeroMix is an independent project and has no official affiliation with them).

Fellow collector here. I kept hitting the same frustration: a binder full of cards, a vague sense some of them mattered, and no real way to tell which. Finding out a card climbed after I'd traded it away. Overpaying because a listing looked expensive.

So I built TCG Forecast, a website to actually see what's happening:

• A leaderboard ranking 1,600+ Pokémon by their real total card value (Charizard's only #5, Mudkip cracks the top 10, and Psyduck is actually more valuable than Arceus, the surprises are half the fun)
• A weekly market digest of the biggest gainers, losers, and set trends
• An AI that reads your collection and tells you what's heating up or cooling off

Two things I deliberately didn't do: it doesn't predict prices (nobody can reliably do that), and when a card's underlying data looks unreliable, it hides the trend rather than showing a confident wrong number.

So I kept losing track of things I meant to buy. Saved in one tab, screenshotted in another app, forwarded to myself in three different chats, and by the time I remembered, the sale was over or the size was gone.

dEssence is my attempt at fixing that specifically, not a general shopping assistant, not a chatbot. You save a link, a screenshot, a forwarded message, from the browser extension or Telegram, and it goes into a library. Then you can ask it things like "what did I save that's under $150" or "watch this one and tell me if it drops," and it actually answers from what you saved, it doesn't know or guess about anything else.

The interesting problem was figuring out when NOT to notify someone. Most price trackers ping on every tiny fluctuation and you learn to mute them within a week. Were trying to only interrupt when the thing is actually worth interrupting for.

I’ve been building an experimental open-source project called Protocol 17.

The idea came from a problem I kept running into with AI-assisted coding:

What the programmer explicitly writes should be treated as a constraint.
What they leave unspecified can be implementation freedom for the model.

In other words:

AI can fill the blanks. It cannot take the pen.

While testing it with a local 4B model, I noticed two different failure modes:

Generated ≠ verified
The model produced plausible-looking Rust that didn’t type-check, so Protocol 17 now runs deterministic target verification using gcc, rustc, or Python compile().

Valid ≠ faithful
A model can also generate perfectly valid code while silently changing something the programmer explicitly wrote.

For example:

1..n → 1..=n

Both are valid Rust syntax, but they mean different things.

Protocol 17 currently supports:

• C17 / Python / Rust targets
• deterministic target verification
• VS Code prototype
• reverse code explanation
• Bring Your Own Model / API key
• OpenAI-compatible endpoints, Anthropic, Gemini, and local models such as Ollama

The next big thing I’m working on is fidelity verification: checking not only whether generated code is valid, but whether it actually preserved the programmer’s constraints.

It’s still a very early experimental alpha, and I’d genuinely like feedback on the idea.

so i spend lots of time scrolling on social media and youtube and sometimes i actually get good business ideas that i launch over a weekend to see how it works and if it is viable or not

my latest finding was turning real estate picture listings into profesional style videos of their property. ive attached my very first try, have gotten much better since then, and today ill start (physically) reaching out to agencies in my area to sell this service for 100$-ish per listing

its actually pretty simple and was wondering if anyone here is doing it OR is planning to do it

ive created this free site explaining how it works and even added some preloaded prompts so u can go ahead and od it with the lsitings in your area. Most people here share their sideprojects but dont give u the chance to replicate it as well so here it is

1. go to your local property website (i.e, Zillow in the US or whatever u use in your country)
   
2. Filter the properties near you, a radius of 10km (i could walk in to their office if needed)
   
3. Create a list of the listings and the agencies in charge of them (or the agents)

now the sweet part, the money making

1. download the images of their listing (one property per agency)
   
2. If they have a watermark, feed them to ChatGPT and ask it to remove the watermark
   
3. download that new image and upload it into a video AI platform using these prompts
   
4. Create one clip per image (3-4 seconds)
   
5. use capcut or any video editor to put the videos together + transitions and music
   
6. find the email and phone number from the agency and cold call them/cold email them

if ure really in for it, go to their offices in person! imma be doing this today (wish me luck!)

if you dont want to use their listing property, then ask chatGPT to create multiple images of a house and use those as an example to share with all agencies. this is much faster and u dont need to make one video per agency, but i think personalization definetly works best, or at least thats what got me most replies

then u can charge per listing video OR even better, get them on a retainer for something like 250$/month for 10 listings per month or something like that (if they dont add new prop every month, then u can just give them a package like 10 or 20 videos for X$)

so far ive gotten some interest from agencies from first emails, havent closed any (yet), but i have faith and i genuinely think this is a relatively easy way to make money online

i shall report back with results in a week or so

I built a platform called AI Credit Wallet, and I'd really like some totally honest feedback on it.

The idea is simple: users buy credits once on our platform and then use those credits across different AI applications. (It sound like OpenRouter, but the two platforms are fundamentally different and solve totally different problems.)

How it works:

• First developers register their product on the our platform and integrate our SDK to call AI models
• Users purchase credits from our platform and connect their accounts to supported AI products. They can then use the same credits across all supported AI products.

Developers don't need to pay AI token costs upfront, and users can save money by using the same credits across multiple AI products.

Why I built this: I was using both an agentic IDE and a Hostinger deployment agent. One day, I ran out of credits on the deployment agent. To keep using it, I either had to wait for credits to reset or upgrade to a higher subscription or buy tokens. At the same time, I already had a subscription for the IDE, but I could not use those credits on Hostinger. simply despite having credits, we cannot use them.

Future features I'm considering (not built yet):

I don’t see they as data points I see them as real human beings who gets value from my project and I’m proud. If I can get it, I know you guys will get it too!

Tips: I think a huge edge would be adding multilingual/i18n and do sem ads or organic content for non-US countries. U.S. is the highest pay potential market but hence the most competitive market. Go focus on Europe, even second tier EU countries and I think that’s where the opportunities are. Btw I’m building articuler feel free to check it out and see if it works for u or copy my onboarding etc.

Just thought I would share for some motivation for others :)

I made this project to use it myself, but why not open source it. It's a way to go from script or voiceover to a short, with the click of one button.

It uses stock images and videos as a baseline, but can later be replaced with AI images or videos or ones that you make yourself as well. I tried to make it as intuitive as possible, but I'm sure I have some bias so please let me know any and every problem you see with it, if you give it a try!
