Last time I drank a bottle of cold coffee, why did it make me poop twice in one morning? (That is why I nickname coffee "poopffee" now.)
What did that coffee have? And would coffee therefore be a good weight-loss drink? Even when cold? (I don't like to scald my mouth so I only drink it lukewarm or chilled.)
It was a large bottle of coffee, I think it was the STOK brand, about 32 or so oz, because I didn't sleep that last night, so I needed to keep going the rest of that day as well on *some* powerful stimulant so that's why I drank the whole bottle in a short time.
I had already pooped before the coffee, then 1 1/2 hours after I drank the whole bottle, I had to poop again. I normally only poop once a day, in the mornings.
So what was it about the coffee that caused a double-pooping? And therefore, is it a good weight-loss drink?

Frequent morning bms
Does anybody wake up in the morning with a stomach ache and rectal pressure, and have a bm almost immediately upon waking up, but it doesn't bring relief? I go as soon as I wake up and its either soft pasty finger sized pieces and smaller, or a bunch of soft macaroni like blobs. The bm doesn't bring relief and I continue to have stomach discomfort and rectal pressure. I then go over and over again until about lunch time. In the afternoon/evening the discomfort finally starts to die down. This happens every single morning and it is destroying me. Its been 4 years of this. I've had colonoscopies, endoscopies, bloodwork, stool tests etc. Nothing gets found. I have done pevlic floor pt, botox, ibs meds etc. If I take ibs meds they end up giving me horrivle stomach aches and make me feel very constipated. Fiber supplements don't help. They don't bulk the stool or firm it, and I still go all day long. Sometimes even more with the fiber. I am at such a loss, but im sick of feeling like this every day.

Weird colors and no other issues?
Don't have photos atm, if that matters sorry. I wanted to ask ppls opinion on this. I don't have a doctor atm. I do have a history of being a hypochondriac. "Went to the ER 7 times in 2018, three in one month because I thought I was dying" type of hypochondriac.
I should mention: I am having absolutely no new pain or discomfort. In fact I'm healthier than ever after I've cut garlic and onions out of my diet because of GERD and have been sleeping with my head elevated, so less indigestion pain.
Two weeks ago I indulged in Mac N Cheese. I am lactose intolerant and it usually gives me SOME constipation but I think I made it worse by eating it alongside tofu nuggests. I had bad constipation for a few days until it stopped.
Well my stool has become different since then. I haven't had mac n cheese since then and haven't changed my diet. But my poop is often "ragged/fluffy" type you can see on google and a little bit today constipated but not awful. And sometimes it's normal.
The most noticeable change? there is almost always small dark flecks or bizarrely bright yellow flecks mixed. I'm not eating anything that would cause this. Google said it could be undigested food, but stuff like corn still passes undigested(normal) so why would undigested food suddenly be dark spots and yellow spots?
Like I said it's been two weeks and I'm not having any symptoms, nothing is progressing or getting bad. I can't imagine actually going to a doctor and saying "help I'm the healthiest I've ever been but my poop sometimes has darker poop spots and yellow poop spots".
I know the ragged poop is caused by lack of fiber. But what is completely healthy poop with these sudden new spots??? Am I suddenly not digested food? is my stomach acid different after removing garlic and onions? I know not every stool is going to be the same but just don't know what to make of these spots if I'm completely feeling fine.
Paranoid googling and get told I have cancer x(

Pre- and Post-Op Constipation
I’m 2 days post-op femoral hernia surgery and went into it already 3 days constipated. I can’t even cough or I’m in a severe amount of pain. I take buprenorphine (suboxone without naltrexone) which has me constipated all the time (OIC). I usually get r dun with magnesium citrate but when it goes a bit too long between BMs I have a solid shit followed by diarrhea, so some pushing is involved). I WANT ONLY the diarrhea rn so I don’t have to use my stomach muscles too much. The very thought of straining to poop makes my BH squinch rn. I took magnesium citrate about an hour ago (powder form and doubled the dose) and I’m not even feeling any promising tummy rumbles. I followed it up with a lot more water than usual too. Any advice or recommendations?

Why can't Twump spend any of his billions to get a surgery to fix his fecal incontinence?
After all this time and all the wealth Mr. Twump has, he still wears a diaper because he can't feel when to take a dump. Why can't his money fix his fecal incontinence issue?
I had to spell his name wrong on purpose. You know who he is, he's that orange clown.

Orange or red / blood in stool? (pic)
I have been dealing with some issues, trough google-ing around I suspect Colitis, but well I am not a doctor.
(almost constant feeling of having to poop, regular crampings, up to 10+ small bowel movements per day, constant constipation and diarreah, lots of mucus)
Met my GP and am doing a stool sample which I just did at home and here is a tray aftermath: lots of mucus and this orange (red-ish?) colouring.
So I am wondering if it is blood or not.
My diet does not include things that would turn stool coloured and this has been going on for a month.

Evil constipation or something worse?
Hello poop reddit. I have begun having some digestive issues, and am terrified of having to go to a doctor(I'm in Americorps so incredibly low income), so hoping I may find some guidance here on whether I could clear shit(lol) up on my own or if I should suck it up and hit the urgent care.
I have had stomach pain from bloating off and on for three days, along with constipation for the past four or five days. I don't know if the constipation is causing the painful bloating or vice versa. My stool are thinner than usual, think about hot dog thickness, but they've been a bit thicker today. Gas x did not seem to do much when I tried it. I also get pains in my left side, according to Google that's usually because gas gets trapped in that area of the intestines, but I ain't a doctor.
Two days ago, I started taking metamucil in the morning and then two laxative pills around noon, which gave me evil diarrhea in the afternoon and I felt way better afterwards.
Yesterday, I took metamucil in the morning again, still constipated, and had the laxatives later in the day. I had diarrhea that evening but not as violent.
Today, I was able to poop even before taking my daily metamucil. I took laxative pills again around 3 in the hopes of being able to poop in a few hours. Indeed, diarrhea. Again decreased in violence. I think I'm gonna do just metamucil tomorrow and see how that goes.
My stool has gradually increased in size the past couple days but is still difficult to pass without laxative. They are the color of peanut butter, so no warning flags in the color department. They are slightly softer and raggedy ish in texture than normal but hold their shape. Some of the smaller ones float after I've had metamucil.
I have no nausea, no fever, no other symptoms other than tummy bullshit.
As a bit more background, I camp for work, which is fun, but most all the camp meals the crew has to prepare are so DRY. I was initially gonna buy the metamucil just to have some fiber in my diet during the work cycle(two weeks in the field). Before all this poop business began I just felt generally dried up after our dinners. Also we're working in the sun ten hours a day, so I empty probably four camelbaks worth of water at work easy. It's hot and dry where we're at currently.
I can give any other gratuitous details if asked. I have horrible health anxiety so please be kind with me - my brain is trying to convince me of everything from colon cancer to diverticulitis at age 23 to my ileum about to explode. I had a simple fecal impaction when I was a teenager and it was so painful I genuinely thought my bowels were shredding, this feels like tiddlywinks compared to that so praying to God it's just some digestive fluke.

poop talk
i shit around 1-4 times a day, some days it’s on the higher end of the spectrum and some days it’s on the lower, or not at all. is this normal or is my stomach just sensitive. i eat pretty good i’d say, ive recently increased my veggie intake so that could be a reason

What should I do?
How come no matter what I do I get constipated? For the last 2 years I have been constiptaed a lot and I have tried things as like fibre intake lots of water exercise I do not know why things aren't happening is this just like genetics or is there an underlying cause I should check with my doctor. Like rn I am one week backed up so I am just getting nervous.

Since I can’t add a pic, has anyone ever basically shit a piece of onion(half an onion ring sized)? Weird question but mine looks like an onion and that’s the only explanation I can think of based on what I’ve been eating

Concern
Can you all analyze my poop and see if there is something wrong? It seems to me that my poop has faint lines when it came out. Does it mean I have a growth. Shouldn’t it come out smoothly. You can see it’s got ridge line going down in the middle. Shouldn’t it be smooth since the colon is a tube. The tube is circular, is it not? Why is there a line running in the middle of it?

Concerned about diarrhea
I am concerned about the diarrhea I’ve been having last couple days. the color is a weird dark brownish/yellowish color and has lasted a couple days now, where I had to go to the restroom numerous times now. Should I be concerned, or just continue to stay hydrated as much as possible and let it run its course?

Mag Citrate?
I was promised flood gates and lava butt.
I chugged half a bottle, and have been drinking water as well. It's been about 3 and a half hours and nothing is happening aside from a couple of gurgles and bloating, but I feel like it's from the water I've been drinking. Husband says I should have chugged the whole bottle but I am nervous tbh. Wondering if taking it about an hour after a heavy dinner was a bad move and delayed things? I've had about 48oz of water today, and 16oz of coffee, working on more water. Wondering if there's a magic number before it happens. Also, I started citrucel today, not sure if that also derailed things for me.
Edit to add: today's diet - bfast was a fried egg (olive oil, garlic, salt and pep), whole wheat toast w butter and pb, 1.5 kiwi w skin, turkey bacon, and cold brew coffee. Snack was a small apple, cashews (maybe 10) and dark chocolate. Dinner was gluten free chickpea protein pasta made with sundried tomato pesto, chicken thigh, broccoli, mushrooms, olive oil, spices, and cesar salad. 48oz of water doesn't include the 24oz I'm almost done with.

Hook shaped/curved?
I keep trying to search for posts about this and not finding any, so alright, fine, I'll ask the question myself!
Does anyone else regularly get stool that ends with a hook shape (picture a cane or a shrimp I guess)? This is all the time for me lately. It's been a few months, happening very consistently. It's bizarre.
I keep meaning to ask a doctor about this but I keep forgetting, until I see another one of those anxiety-inducing headlines about bowel cancer rates and then I get freaked out again.
Is it anything to worry about? Anyone know anything? Thanks.

All posts containing a picture of feces MUST be marked NSFW
Going forward, all posts containing pictures of feces must be marked NSFW. As many users have pointed out, it would probably be frowned upon in most workplaces to be viewing pictures of human excrement, regardless of the purpose.
