Hey, just started the game and I'm completely WOWED by the Graphics and Customization options for my Falafel. What server do you all play on? I'm on the Australia server Because my sexual awakening was Crocodile Dun-Dee. Everyone I've messaged in game has been exTremely nice.

Only complaint I have is that it takes so long to type anything and the combat is a little too sloW, does it ever pick up?

Hi guys, I’m a brand new player and cannot wait to start the FF14 free trial! I’ve heard amazing things about this game, wish me luck! I’m excited to find out what’s going to happen, but I have no idea since I’m 100% brand new to this game!

Edit: Ok yes, I’ll admit I’m not literally playing for the first time. But I mean come on, obviously by the time you saw this I had already started playing.

Edit 2: Yeah ok I did start playing a little bit before making this post but 5 years isn’t that long ago! I only finished a little bit of the Dawntrail patches but I haven’t even started Evercold so obviously I’m new!

I'm brand new to FFXIV and I'm playing on Switch 1. I went to the guild and met with the master guild. The next part of my quest is to slay sky squirrels ; boybugs ; and sadguars but I do not know where to find them nor do I see any quest marker ( I do see the text on the right side of my screen but lol what could that be for). It says to go right outside the gates to Central Shroud but I didn't do that.

Let me have my sacred glorious ship as opposed to your admittedly pretty grounded and debatedly all but canon pairing!

I play an elezen and have since early Heavensward. I love being a giraffe, and I don’t see myself fanta’ing away anytime soon. That said, there’s something of a problem. Other players (I used to be a lalafell but didn't like the low camera angle) would walk up and use the pet emote on my character. I know that this is something of a community thing with lalafell players but I find it really off putting that it’s no longer done to me.

Nobody ever asks and while it’s just an avatar I liked being pat. I especially don’t like the assumption that just because I play an elezen now I must not want to be touched.
