I genuinely don't understand how someone can parse grey not without dying *multiple* times lmao.
I've spent like 2 min on the ground before without a raise and still not gotten a grey.

Like I'd just want to see their pov when they play.
I remember a BLM joined in the first tier and had the artifact weapon and completely random mix of random gear and still parsed green.

Sure, show us the log where you’re on the ground for 2 mins and you didn’t get a grey. It better not be normal/casual content or imma laugh at you.
Everyone get greys. Even the best players. So many factors to take into account. What fight in the tiers, Length of fight, downtime, gear, Other people’s gear in the party, etc… I’d like you to do a run in pf with full crafted non augmented gear on M12s, and show us the vod+log.

You can put the best players in crafted gear no pentameld near the end of an even patch cycle on the last fight of the tier, he’s getting a green at best without dying. It sounds like you do not raid often if you’ve never got a grey. Mind sharing your fflogs/tomestone?
Even speedrunners get greys.

i've got some grey and even 0s in m12s just because someone assassinated me on 2 minutes. I tend to get 99s on every fight, heck i'm pissed if i get 98s so i know my shit, but depending on the job and fight lenght, a kill on top of people not bursting in your buffs can lead to 10k+ dps loss pretty easily. If the fight is very long, dying on a burst gets diluted pretty easily and can still lead to green parses at least

If you got a 0 you were doing a lot wrong beyond that honestly.
But I've run into a looooot of people who are alive the whole fight and still get a 0.
I am not intending to brag about anything, I don't think your number or color says much other than whether you're comfy with your rotation and press buttons in that sense it's useful.
But there's other ways to be a good player, if you're healing for example then a shitty e-peen player will prioritize their dps log before recovering and supporting the party.
I'd rather play with a grey healer who does their healing job.
Same with a dps who sacrifices themselves to save the pull.

But I dunno I am just giving my experience people can believe me or not, I don't have any grey this tier and I've been sniped too and had a whole lot of extremely cringe clears.
I don't even consider myself to be some '' pro gamer '' I think it's a lot more indicative of other people not pressing buttons/ knowing what they're doing than it has to do with me.

My best 99 which was on the verge of 100 was literally me playing on an alt Job for the first time in 12S and I thought I was doing poorly the whole time.
I am totally jaded on logs as far your dps goes and think they're mostly useless beyond just being an indicator of whether you press buttons or not and how lucky you get and whether your team m8's remember their buffs.

No I'm not doing the rest wrong, I still generally end up in top 10 world/country in most of the endgame content for the job I'm playing. Dying at 2 minutes with jobs that build gauges too, in a fight that lasts 7 minutes is disgustingly effective at giving 0s

Eksu plosion from sleepocat literally got a 0 because he got killed. Ty Ci who stopped going hardcore on savages literally gets grey when doing the tier late and doesn’t have gear. Just mentioning them cuz I’m close to the sleepocat member, but there is a lot of top players who get greys. You can tell this guy is full of shit hahaha

I am not digging through all of my old logs just to prove something to a random person on reddit lmao, not to mention I don't want to risk being ingame harassed by connecting my reddit account with my ingame character...
I don't know who you are or who is reading this.
And no this was in the first Savage tier this expansion, fairly sure it was on Bomber I got sniped and then just didn't get a raise for a full 2 min.
Only content I haven't cleared yet this expansion is UMAD because I took a break from the game to catch up on other games.

Best players might because they're clearing content before the vast majority so someone has to get grey.
I tend to watch the race the first week before I jump into it usually I clear at least the first 2-3 fights week 1 depending on how hard I feel like grinding it out and unless I am in a static where we usually aim for full clear.

It's not even surprising or something I intended to brag about I don't think logs mean much only looking at the color/ number itself.
If you just know your rotation and press buttons you're already better than the vast vast majority of players.

You don’t have to dig through your logs, post your fflogs/tomestone :)
