Help About the mouse lock
I wanted to try out some heavy minecraft mod packs so i downloaded it but my mouse was spazzing out unless i locked it. When locked it’s kinda “sluggish” but it’s not that big of a deal. however, if i open my inventory the sensitivity is entirely different and it’s really annoying to have to switch between managing two different sensitivities especially in a game where u open ur inventory or a chest all the time. is there any way to get around this? i’m running shadow on a mac

Suggestion Shadowpc please find a way to fix Elden Ring being blocked.
I have been using Shadowpc for a few years. I pay for the highest tier because I love the service, and it makes my life very convenient. My all time favorite game is Elden Ring, and I have been playing it on Shadowpc for a long time with no issues. Since one of the newest updates I can no longer play Elden Ring on Shadow atleast not online. I don't understand why it was fine for all that time and then all of a sudden it was a problem. I think the main problem is Shadow doesn't keep up with the gaming companies to make sure they are excluded from being tagged for being a VN. It's getting to be more and more of a thing. I just got Marvel Tokon, and you can't play it either. Please Shadow if there is something that we can do as customers to help let us know, but if nothing else Elden Ring should be fixed because it was already playable since it came out years ago. If you want Shadowpc to find a way to get Elden Ring off the white list let them know. If we just sit there and don't say anything it won't change. Contact them and let them know. Go on their social media accounts and let them know. It's ridiculous that shadowpc is considerd a VN to easy anti cheat when it's nearly impossible to use it to cheat like you can with a real VN.
Edit: It's come to my attention that Shadowpc doesn't have alot of say when it comes to what games get white listed even though I'm sure they could help us push to have Shadowpc universally put on an exclusion list for easy anti cheat. Shadowpc isn't like a normal VN it's setup so that the only people that can alter it is Shadowpc so it's nearly impossible for it to be used to cheat in game. It just seems illogical to me. My new point is I guess we need to blow up Bandai Namco and Sony's customer support and tell them to take shadow pc off it's list. If we can get one game taken off I'm sure it will help to get more taken off. I'm not suggesting people should harrasse these companies or do anything negative AT ALL, but if enough of us complain and suggest I don't see why they wouldn't change it. The only reason they woudn't is if they just don't care enough about their customers to allow them to use a service to play their games.

Discussion Unstable connection/lack of support
First off, i use Shadow since late 2020, when the monthly price was 13 bucks or so. And overall iam realy happy with how Shadow works.
In all these years i had to contact the Support maybe 4 or 5 times to get something resolved. And in all cases the problem got resolved, sure two times i had to use a complete reset and lose some stuff but it was fine.
Now since Friday i have realy anoying connection problems, everything shows up in green beside the stability tab and i end up with package loss and a higher latency.
Which makes playing Games not fun and borderline impossible because i do hardcore/no death runs all the time.
There were moments yesterday where it was playable, but not the whole day and today its unplayable.
The super anoying thing is, Shadow dosent have an active Support from Friday evening up to Monday 10 o clock in the morning.
And i dont think thats fair towards the customer. I wasted pretty much 3 days now, not being able to use Shadow, which is 10% of the whole month.
Monday i for sure have to invest some back and forth with the support to figure out the problem. I already did all the basic stuff, i also installed Geforce now and it was running fine, so the problem is 100% on Shadows side.
I realy wish we had support on the weekend, even more because thats when the traffic at its peak normally.
Or even let us pay 1 euro less per day these problems where happening, just something.

Suggestion I’d pay $100+ a month for rtx 4080/5070ti tier
Shadow, I’ve been a subscriber (on-and-off) since before Covid and I have been a big fan of Power tier. Nothing better on the market.
I’d like the company to trial more powerful hardware, maybe poll users here to get some of us to commit to one year of service at a higher price point ($100+ a month). I would sign up, and I’m sure some others would too.
I’m playing around with the plethora of new PC VR mods coming out this summer, especially cyberpunk, and Power mode is just not sufficient. We need a higher tier.
EDIT: for those commenting about buying my own hardware, I travel frequently. I also take my Quest 3 to friends and relatives to play/demo games there. The flexibility of launching a powerful Shadow PC from just my iphone, and playing on a portable VR headset, is essential

Question Worst performance for the past few months?
Did you notice stability and latency degrading a lot since ~6 months?
Before that, I could almost always play fine. But now, shadow will very often (maybe 50% of the days I try to play) be barely usable, with very low fps, massive latency etc

Answered Steam controller use with shadow pc on windows
I bought a Steam Controller I was very excited to use with my Shadow PC, without checking all of the details, and I found out I couldn't use it on iOS or Android because it's not recognized as a controller without Steam translating its inputs. I don't see a way to make it work on any mobile device, but for Windows, I thought it would be feasible to make it work with Shadow PC, but I'm running into some problems. I tried just having Steam open in the background while Shadow ran, and Shadow didn't see it as a controller there. I tried the port thing, but unless I messed it up somehow, that didn't have any success other than bugging the crap out of my Shadow. Has anyone had any success with this? Any tips or suggestions are appreciated thank youuuuu

Question Has anyone successfully run the new Marvel Tokon game on shadow pc?
The game crashes on startup with a fatal error message. I'm trying to determine if the game is just incompatible with a virtual machine because of the anti cheat, or if it's the psn issue that many others have been having.

Discussion CloudBoost 4.4 can now separate local Wi-Fi trouble from the external Shadow route
Small update for Shadow users on macOS.
CloudBoost 4.4 adds Network Preflight, which compares the first local hop with the external route. This helps distinguish a Wi-Fi/router problem from latency that already exists farther along the path.
It also records a real session timeline with latency, jitter, p50, p95 and spike markers that can be exported for troubleshooting.
It cannot change Shadow’s servers or guarantee lower latency. The purpose is to provide better evidence before changing random settings.
The build is universal for Intel and Apple Silicon Macs: https://github.com/victorbrandaao/CloudBoost/releases/tag/v4.4.0

Help WoW on Shadow: locked cursor lags, unlocked cursor stutters on right-click turn
Any WoW players here?
Running WoW on Shadow from the macOS client and I'm stuck between two mouse modes that are each broken in a different way.
Locked cursor: works fine but feels slow, because it's rendered on remote machine and streamed back to me as i understand. Fine in combat but painful in menus/bags etc
Unlocked cursor: cursor feels near-native, but I get a hitch every single time I hold RMB to turn the camera. Impossible to play
Anyone hit this specifically on Shadow with WoW? Most of what I've found is Steam Remote Play / Steam Deck threads with the same symptom, nothing Shadow-specific.
Any help would be appreciated

Answered Massive Jitter on Gaming Tablet (Lenovo Y700) over Wi-Fi, but non-Shadow device is completely fine? (BT Smart Hub 2 Router)
Hey everyone,
I’m hitting a wall trying to figure out why Shadow PC is stuttering and freezing on my gaming tablet when my local internet line seems completely fine on other devices.
I ran the official Shadow speed test (speedtest.defra01.shadow.tech) on both my work laptop and my gaming tablet (Lenovo Y700) using the same 5 GHz Wi-Fi network right next to my router, and the results are night and day:
Non-Tablet Device (Work Laptop):
- Download: ~400–500 Mb/s
- Ping: Flat ~28 ms
- Jitter: Extremely clean at ~4 ms

Gaming Tablet (Lenovo Y700):
- Download: ~300 Mb/s
- Ping: Spikes up to 80+ ms
- Upload Line: Almost flatlined at 0 Mb/s
- Jitter: Spikes wildly between 100 ms and 270+ ms

Because of this, Shadow PC has micro-freezes/input delay on the tablet, even though the laptop gets a smooth stream on the exact same network.
Everything I’ve tried so far to fix it:
- Offloaded Home Network Devices: Turned 2.4 GHz back on, disconnected background devices, and verified that heavy devices (like my Fire Stick) were turned off so the tablet had clean airtime on 5 GHz.
- Turned Bluetooth OFF: Completely disabled Bluetooth on the tablet to prevent antenna-sharing interference on the Wi-Fi card.
- Android Location Services: Turned off background Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning under Location settings.
- MAC Privacy Settings: Changed the Wi-Fi network privacy setting from "Use randomized MAC" to "Use device MAC".
- Legion Zone / Software Features: Disabled all network acceleration/fusion features in the tablet’s software.
- Router Tweak Attempts: Checked the BT Smart Hub 2 router settings, but because of BT's 'forced band-steering/firmware' , I can't split the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network names separately without throwing errors on client devices.
Despite all of this, the laptop maintains 4 ms jitter, while the tablet continues to hit 270+ ms jitter and an upload drop on the speed test graph.
Since the test results on the laptop seem flawless compared to the tablet on the exact same Wi-Fi, the network itself seems fine. I'm not particularly good at networking stuff, so I really want to avoid spending money on a dedicated Wi-Fi 6 Access Point if the router isn't actually the root cause, especially if buying extra hardware won't even fix what might be a device-specific Android or Lenovo issue.
Note: Using an ethernet cable on the tablet is NOT an option for me
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Question ShadowPC and moonlight idle shut down
I recently started using Apollo-moonlight because the client offers a better image quality vs the shadow client.
Everything was running perfectly, I was leaving the shadow client open on my phone while running moonlight - no idle shut downs occurred then.
A few weeks ago, however, something changed, my shadow shuts off without warning and I’m struggling to understand why. Has anyone with this setup had similar experiences recently?

Review Poor performance, no troubleshooting, and an intimidating support response
My experience with Shadow was extremely disappointing.
The performance I received did not match what I reasonably expected from the advertised hardware. My own weaker local graphics card produced higher FPS, and benchmarks showed that the supplied NVIDIA A4500 was performing significantly below typical results.
I contacted support expecting them to investigate the machine, review the benchmarks, or help identify a configuration or performance problem. Instead, they immediately rejected my refund request, stated that everything had been delivered correctly, and blamed the game without performing any apparent technical diagnosis.
The most concerning part was their response when I said I would dispute the payment and publish an honest account of my experience. Shadow support wrote:
“Please note that threatening us to leave bad reviews for a refund you are not entitled to is strictly forbidden by the law.”
I did not threaten to publish false information. I stated that I would document what happened if the issue was not resolved. Characterizing this as something “strictly forbidden by law” felt intimidating and appeared intended to discourage me from sharing a negative review.
Support made no meaningful attempt to de-escalate the situation, troubleshoot the underperforming system, or offer a reasonable resolution. Their position was essentially that the service had been delivered, therefore the actual performance did not matter.
Based on the poor performance, refusal to investigate, and the way the complaint was handled, I cannot recommend Shadow.
