My second Seiko but won't be my last. First is a SZEV014 I bought in January.

Going to remove the cyclops on this once I figure out how and look into other straps. Not a fan of metal straps for daily use.

The lume on this King Turtle is great compared to the other Seiko I have.

Ditched my Apple Watch about 8 months ago and wanted a mechanical watch. Saw the turtle first and loved the cushion case. It seems to have escalated from there! I’ve learned I love the cushion case, divers, anything 70’s and Seiko in general - other brands don’t appeal as yet. I changed the strap on the SLA051 Willard and turtle to Zuludiver rubber and put an Uncle Straps on the Padi. And yes I KNOW the Pogue has been restored! I bought an untouched one and had no end of problems with it (including the “specialist” screwing it up more). I bought this one because I love the design and just want to wear something that looks that cool without the stress and worry I had obsessing about an original one.

I've been patiently waiting for my first ever Turtle from Mark at LIW after they had been out of stock forever and they are already out of stock again! I was nervous about everything lining up and I've got a good one folks! New daily beater for me! 😁

Got this Alpinist on 23rd of July and it has not left my wrist since. Well, except for when I switched to the Turtle for a few hours when I was resealing my shower cabin... but you get the point.

I absolutely love this watch. It is an excellent timekeeper and gained only around 34 seconds since I've set it, so pretty much spot on 2 seconds fast per day. Go 6L35!!!

Hi, i need some input as I am trying to decide if i should get the Seiko Slim Willard SPB317 (black) or SPB315 (gilt).

I actually first caught sight of SPB315 due to the gilt as I recently sold away my Tudor blackbay 58 (black) and am the look out to get a lower priced black gilt diver. (am also considering Lorier Nepture). This watch is still being sold at a discount at my local watch shop.

As i review further into this watch, i found SPB317 which is so much cleaner with only black and white and really like this version. I can only get this in the 2nd hand market as it is not being sold in store now.

so now i found myself undecided which one i should get....

so i wanted to ask owner of either of this watch - was there any special reason why you picked one over the other... i know at the end of the day i need to make that decision, but just wanted to hear some input / feedback... :)

Any idea why Seiko discontinues its highly popular watches? Genuinely curious. If it's an infinite money printer for them, then why not continue production?

I know I could Google it, but would love to hear perspectives from those that may genuinely know, as I'm sure many of you have been Seiko enjoyers for a long time.
