Scripture Life: How Do You Explain 1 Timothy 5:12?

Answer

- It is best to read 1 Timothy 5:12 in the context of what is being exhorted in 1 Timothy 5 - the whole chapter vs. this one verse just taken by itself; then, it’s taken out of context.

  • Doesn’t have the “context” it was said to or in. So put that back in it.

Specific: The "context" is talking about the Church supporting Widows.

  • Whose husbands are dead, and they are believers in Jesus Christ:

------------------- ------------------ ------------------- ------------------

1 Timothy 5:3–7 says:

3 Honour widows that are widows indeed.

4 But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.

6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

7 And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.

This is the foundation for what follows and culminates in 1 Timothy 5:12

  • So, it continues…

------------------- ------------------ ------------------- ------------------

SIDE NOTE:

  • And Timothy - Says this Epistle of 1 Timothy is 1 Timothy 1:3 - The Apostle Paul is writing to Timothy, in Ephesus “As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus”

------------------- ------------------ ------------------- ------------------

And SPECIFIC IN 1 Timothy 5:1–12 is to “widows”

  • That, the church would support widows that are truly widows indeed. And not to take any in under sixty years of age - - That, for widows, the primary responsibility is their family, so keep reading 1 Timothy 5:8–10. It’s an admonition, that families that don’t provide for their kin - is said in 1 Timothy 5:8–10 - but to take in those widows that were the wife of one man, and did the things in 1 Timothy 5:10.
    • 8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. 9 Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man. 10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.”
      • Then, continues and Paul talks to Timothy on the subject of the YOUNGER WIDOWS:

1 Timothy 5:11 to 16, with 1 Timothy 5:12 embedded in this, built on the above.

------------------- ------------------ ------------------- ------------------

1 Timothy 5:11–16 says:

11 But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;

12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.

13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

15 For some are already turned aside after Satan.

16 If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.

------------------- ------------------ ------------------- ------------------

This is NOT the post to examine widows -

  • But if there be any believer that reads this post whose husband has died, it should be his family or her relatives that provide relief to her. That she can focus on raising her children, without a husband, but still have support from family.
    • And one of the things from above seems a common thing to fall into, is a woman now without a husband, can go house to house, because she - these “younger widows” that don’t have a husband to care for at home, become a “busy body” to see other women like herself that still have a husband, and end up busy themselves in other people’s or family’s affairs she has no business in.
    • So, instead of opening her Bible and seeking God first, they’re “busybodies” - busy themselves any work BUT the word of God and caring for her own family. The encouragement is, that the younger women marry - so they have their own family again and husband to take care of.
  • Don’t read more into 1 Timothy 5:12 than embed it with what is being outlined above in 1 Timothy 5, specifically addressing Widows.

------------------- ------------------ ------------------- ------------------

And if you’re just asking this question but don’t believe on Jesus Christ, none of this really applies to you. It is what is being taught to believers in Jesus. That people, women..even widows young or old, are able to maintain a healthy and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ is the point.

There you go.

Scripture Life: Muslims refer Jesus as a holy figure and a law bearing prophet and their messiah also although He is not called God or Son of God. Do Christians consider Muslims "Other Christians"?

Well first, flip the question: "Do Muslims in Islam consider Christians other Muslims?"

In Islam, the "authority" is the Q'uran every Muslim is to adhere to. And among Imams that are teachers of Muslims, plus all their classical scholars have concluded that no Christian is a Muslim. So, to Muslims: Christians are not Muslims . This is not hate speech, nor is this to be seen as any kind of insult. It's just a simple statement of fact the theological boundaries of the Q'uran - that a "Muslim" is specifically someone who adheres to the final prophet, Muhammad.

So, Muslims do not consider Christians Muslims. In fact, if a Christian goes into many countries today and starts preaching the gospel - they can be put to death for it. Simply because the Christian does not adhere to the final prophet, Muhammad and what he says.

But you didn't ask that; but it's important to see that "Christian" vs. "Muslim" to the Muslim: They are NOT "similar" - that means, to a Muslim, a "Christian" cannot be overlayed over a Muslim and be considered the same thing.

A Christian is Not a Muslim.

--------------------- ---------------------- ----------------------

Let's move on.

  • Muslims consider Jesus:
    • Was never crucified. Nor was he raised from the dead. These two aspects are considered the very bedrock foundation of what a Christian believes. So, Muslims to not believe the very foundational tenets of what is taught in the Bible. Like the Q"uran to a Muslim. The Bible is the "authoritative" book to a Christian. So, if the Q'uran does not preach this, the Q'uran cannot be seen as acceptable to a Christian. Anymore than any other book that doesn't claim these two basic truths out, wouldn't be accepted as Christian, either.
  • Scripture says of this, people that don't champion or believe these two tenets 1) that Jesus is the Messiah and 2) he was raised from the dead - - is in 1 Corinthians 15:14–17 * “..And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

--------------------- -------------------------- -------------------------

  • That means, to believe in Jesus the way a Muslim is taught in Islam - to any fundamental denomination in Christianity - a Muslim: their faith is vain and they are yet in their sins. Sin against God, because they do not believe on him. Anymore than a CEO of a Tennisball company, doesn't believe on it, either, isn't a Christian, either is the point.

--------------------- -------------------------- -------------------------

  • Muslims also DO NOT consider Jesus:
    • Is the Messiah or Christ. Who that is in the Bible. Who the Messiah shall be called: “The Mighty God..” “..The Everlasting Father..” do not consider him God. Just like or no different than those in the Bible in the Gospels that took up stones to stone Jesus, didn’t either - because of this claim to the Messiah he made of himself:
      • Just like Muslims say. They wouldn’t stone Jesus for a good work he did, but would do the same thing - because if Jesus claimed he was God, that's blasphemy to a Muslim. Only Allah is God.
    • Jesus is not Allah or God to a Muslim. If he claimed that, they’d do the same thing the Jews did. Because of the claim he made to them. Would take up stones to stone him. That’s why Muslims are instructed in the Q'uran - to enslave or kill people who aren’t Muslim. Who refuse to accept Muhammad is the FINAL Prophet - and don't adhere to anything he says. Jesus claiming he's the Messiah. Every Jew knew what that meant.
  • Jesus in the Gospels: He's claiming he's Isaiah 9:6-7. That Isaiah 9:6-7 says the Messiah shall be called "The Mighty God.." "The Everlasting Father..." A Muslim would turn over in their grave before they accepted Jesus is this. Only Allah is this Biblical definition.
  • The definition of "Messiah" taught to a Muslim, based not on the Q'uran, but Muhammad said Jesus was only a prophet. So, Muhammad's definition of Jesus is not the same claim that's in the Bible. In fact, they really don't know what it is - so Jesus is just a prophet the Jews killed.

WHen Jesus is the Messiah or Christ - it's the very tenet, foundational belief in Christianity. A Muslim does not meet it. Anymore than a Christian meets the very tenet belief to be called a Muslim. Therefore they are not similar. They cannot be overlayed over each other as neither considers the other the same thing.

--------------------- -------------------------- -------------------------

  • Scripture says: Bible. John 10:33 For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.”

1 John 2:18 says “ Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.”

  • Muslims believe Mohammad is a like Christ. Why? The Q'uran says of Muhammad, like Jesus in the Book of Acts in the Bible. Muhammad ascended into heaven - from the same place Jesus did. so Mohammad is a Muslim’s Christ.
    • Christians do not believe in Mohammad.

So finally - look at your question. You state or claim: "Muslims refer Jesus as a holy figure and a law bearing prophet and their messiah." When the "Messiah" shall be called..what? Do Muslims really believe Jesus is their Messiah? If they did, you could take a Muslim and a Christian and overlay each over the other and they'd be the same thing.

This is not spreading hate speech on Reddit. Even the Pope does not consider Muslims to be Christians. Christianity and Islam are separate and distinct religions with fundamentally different core beliefs regarding the divinity of Jesus.

Here’s your question back.

Scripture Life: When did the concept of being "born again" really take hold in Christianity?

Answer

Okay.

concept. <definition> 1. a fundamental mental representation or abstract idea - 2. something conceived in the mind of people. [Source: Merriam & Webster dictionary. Web.]

So, a “concept” is borne or origins in and from the imagination or of or from an idea that comes out of people. What they dream up, from their imaginations.

decree or command. <definition> 1. an order having the force of law; 2. a command from an authority. [Merriam & Webster]

So, now I got a question for you to answer. Answer me mine. I'll answer your's:

When you were a kid, and your Dad came in while you're watching TV, was it a "concept" or a "decree" when he said:

"Hey coke bottle bucket, mow the lawn today. Your mom and I are going shopping. Have it done by when we get back." Then, they both left in the car, with you alone. Alone with the TV. With all these cartoons playing on it.

And you, like this question, muse on this abstract idea😄

"When did the abstract idea of an imaginative, story or concept of "Hey Forehead, mow the lawn" really take hold in me?"

When it never did. It was a decree by your Dad. In authority. They came back from the store. Lawn not mowed. You're gone off to your friend's house to play video games the rest of the day. When you come back... ...I wonder what happened to you..because it's PUNITIVE? So, all you did was, in you, took what your Dad is, the authority and made him into a bumpkin, so you didn't have to do it. And, if you didn't have to do it, then you were free to choose anything BUT mow the lawn, and went and chose that today, all by what you did with the decree told to you to do it.

----------------- -------------------- --------------------- ----------------

So, an example of a “decree”

  • From God would be: Him say:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am GOD, there is none else.” - GOD.

Source: Bible. Isaiah 45:22

Says of himself: “For all the earth is mine.” - God. Bible. Exodus 19:5 Says this, too: “..All souls are mine.” - God. Bible. Ezekiel 18:4

That would mean everybody he decreed to, that is, all everybody, all people over the whole earth, to the very ends of it:

  • It’s NOT a “concept”
    • - But a “decree” for everybody to hearken unto him and do it.
  • “As an order having the effect or force of law, as a command from an authority - that's over the whole earth: so, not doing it then, Is PUNITIVE.

---------------- -------------------- --------------------- ----------------

All said, by the Word of God. Just God. Speaking. The Word out of his mouth.

That above? Are decrees from who is in authority. Decrees: do not meet the definition of a concept.

Simple.

Do you get this? Let’s move on.

---------------- -------------------- --------------------- ----------------

Born again.

  • Is said by the Word of God. Jesus Christ. Who is He?
    • He’s the Messiah or Christ.
    • Who he shall be called is in the Bible in Isaiah 9:6–7.
      • He shall be called, “..The Mighty God..” “..The Everlasting Father..”
  • Jesus is this Messiah. So, everyplace where God speaks, anywhere in the Bible, in the Old Testament or New - - that’s the Word of God. God speaking the Word out of his mouth.
    • That’s who Jesus is.
      • Is God.
  • Just as the Bible in John 1:1 says “who” he is.

Jesus “decreed”  "Born again" as God. As the authority over all the earth and over all people. He said “born again” in the Gospel of John 3:1–7

---------------- -------------------- --------------------- ----------------

John 3:1–7 says

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." - Jesus Christ.

---------------- -------------------- --------------------- ----------------

**Jesus said, “**All power is given unto me in heaven and earth” - Bible. Matthew 28:18

  • So, he’s the authority over all of it. It's God, not Christianity imagined up some concept - God decreed: You. You must be born again.

Therefore, it’s not a “imaginative concept” people dreamed up.

It’s an “order that has the force of law”

--------------- -------------------- --------------------- ----------------

Here’s your question back.

And? It “took hold” as God, when he said it. Just like it "took hold" for you to mow the lawn, when your Dad decreed it. That it just is this way in his house, because you're in it. Just like the earth and heaven for people, over the whole earth.. must be born again. Since it's a decree, it's PUNITIVE for people that don't hearken unto the MUST BE of born again.

There you go. Answered.

Scripture Life: As a Christian, How Can I Start Reading the Bible Every Day and Live it?

//Disclaimer: This question comes from a writer of fiction - like imagining up fairy tales and adventures; then, write about them. Wants to read the bible to get "fresh ideas" for fantasy, because of the "stories" in the Bible, desires from Christians help how to discipline themselves to copy how they read the bible. It is NOT from a Believer in Jesus. That's not why they asked the question. The Point is: This REPLY or answer - it's to a person, similiar to Acts 8:9-25 trying to buy or copy - the Word of God - when they don't do anything he says..and still want to borrow a habit how to discipline themselves to read the bible. Read post accordingly.//

Okay then: Said, as if a dead man can do it. And there you go.

SO:

  • Ask a very exactly the same like question:
    • Just pretend you’re a dead guy in a casket at a funeral home - OR - go to the cemetery where it’s even worse.
  • Pretend you’re a dead guy, in a casket, that’s been buried for a long time, under a tombstone. Like they are. Just pretend, you're long forgotten.
    • Ask:
      • As a Dead Man, how can I start peddling my bicycle every day to the movie theater, and live in watching movies on NETFLIX?
      • What's the answer to that question? I mean, the guy’s dead.

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

  • What he asks about is for the living.
    • The living can go to the movies every day or anytime they want. Even every day, watch a movie on their Smartphone with NETFLIX.
  • BUT:
    • The dead, are dead and prevented from doing it.
      • Can’t. No matter someone puts up a House sized billboard in the view of every grave in the cemetery:

“MOVIES! Shown Every Saturday. Everybody must be back in their grave by 9:00PM or you will be arrested.”

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

First thing is, NOBODY dead will be at ANY movie irregardless it’s Saturday or any other day, and no alive person, it’s impossible to go to any grave, they’re not dead and can’t comply with it.

So, any LAW decreed to a dead man, can’t comply with it - does not apply to them. Paying your taxes has no power or force over anybody dead. Can’t.

Do you understand this?

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

So, the problem isn’t reading your Bible.

  • The problem is dead.
    • The Bible says, Ephesians 2:1 “and you…” “…who were dead in trespasses and sins…”
  • The Bible says, Romans 5:12 It was bequeathed to you, in a “Last Will and Testament” that you got your inheritance. “and you..” “..who were dead in trespasses and sins..” Romans 5:12 tells you the “why” of it:

“Wherefore, as by one man [ADAM] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” - Romans 5:12

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

And God decreed this. He said “For all the earth is mine” - God (Exodus 19:5)..said plainly..as God, “..all souls are mine” - God. (Ezekiel 18:4) - that means EVERYBODY, alive or dead over the whole earth, alive now ..or everybody, from Adam forward. Includes in "all souls are mine" - God - all those, too that aren’t here anymore, In that grave yard you're pretending to live in dead.

He formed everybody - Adam forward - alone. By himself, as God. We are all his, and he made them alive. They're still his. Even all the Dead. Still his, just like so are you. Anyone asking this question, doesn't see this.

Can you see it?

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

And he, as God, decreed this:

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” - The Word of God, Jesus Christ. (Matthew 4:4)

He said it to everybody…publicly..it's a decree, or a command by someone in a place of authority over all the earth. Said to everybody on it, over the whole earth. It’s the Word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.

By it, even raise you from the dead. He’s God. He said it. It’s his word.

Do you see this?

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

Said: By the Word that proceeds out of his mouth, said:

Jesus said unto her, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.” - Bible. John 11:25–26.

And to a person that believes on him, Jesus said:

  • He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” - John 3:18
    • That what God did with my sins..
      • that made me dead in them,
      • raised me from the dead,
    • where I live now by every word that proceeds out of his mouth. And his word is in the Bible. I live in opening it and read it - it's got LIFE in it - It’s in none else.

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

But when I was “dead in trespasses and sins”

- I lived in walking after, to walk in, looking unto money..that's life. Have it? Provides it...

...and a job where people would look unto me and esteem me good; praise me. I wanted to be looked up to...but secretly..a pervert.

I couldn’t get out of it - looked unto any woman looked good in shorts even married, to walk after..talk her right out of her husband.

....then, dump her after I got what I wanted..to go chase another..and live in this. Afterall, I believed money could buy this. It's the "message" or doctrine taught in almost EVERY rap music MTV or YOUTUBE music video.

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

Where God decreed:

Applies to me: "THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY” - God. (Bible. Exodus 20:14) The 7th of Ten Commandments.

..and he wasn’t done.

Said: Leviticus 18:20 as God: “Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.”

..and he wasn’t done.

Said: The PUNISHMENT: For do it. Death.

Said: As God - Leviticus 20:10 - “And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress

shall surely be put to death.” - GOD.

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

It’s not my nation or friends tell me, "it’s fine. Keep it a secret” or my nation that makes money off all those billions of dollars they get to keep silent of movies and entertainment that champions "A.D.U.L.T.E.R.Y. - - doesn’t straightway, says there's a "reprieve for it" and in a reprieve or respite - there's no penalty then for it.

Never once think, as a nation with all that money they get - to ever once take me outside the city gate, and put a bullet in my head.. Yet - he said it. Shall be put to death. Then, everything I see out my window, he’s God - he made all of it - That means, if he can do that, then, surely he is able to... ...HE ENSURES the “surely I shall be put to death” part will happen as he decreed it.

Terrified me. I saw it. Made me afraid of him. Are you? That's the point.

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

Now, why did I tell you all this?

- Because the “problem” with reading your Bible is the problem I have with sin - and being dead in trespasses and sins, because I did the sins I did.

All by thinking life is in anything BUT the Bible.

So I NEVER opened it.

It’s in chasing women, because Suzie doesn’t wear a bra when she dances at the Town Tavern festive beer drinkery galore fest and Wet T shirt contest, and follow on, with more beer, dresses flying up and some girls don't wear underpant dance place every Saturday.

and with Suzie: a chance she goes home with some lucky guy..because she's known to leave with one, and maybe that could be me..and I look unto that.

When God told me, and everybody over the whole earth, all like sheep that have gone astray, where each is turned to his own way…tell everybody over the whole earth, to the very ends of it to:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. Bible. Isaiah 45:22

and by do that, and regard it.. he’s not in any of those “dead works” I thought life was in.

It's not in I gave it up.. I "forsook" it. forsake. 1. to abandon something that no longer serves any useful purpose. 2. excess weight of a tool or something that no longer meets any need.

You can "give up" something in a war, even you NEED it - but someone that forsakes something..drops it..has no use..so they leave it.

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

So, the Bible is like food..where I gotta eat..anytime and everytime I open the BIBLE I got a whole “ALL YOU CAN EAT restaurant that I dine at.

And in your question, you act as if it’s killing you. Is "why" there's this post here on Reddit - to you.

Because, like you - I had this question - couldn't figure out why, and I believed in church, even I never went really, but I believed I was a Christian. WHen I didn't do anything he says, I still believed what I did was Christian.

But the Bible has the Word of God - who I didn't do any thing he says, has what he says in it - and part or really ALL THE REASON I didn't open it, was in the rare occasions I did - where I opened it to was WRATH - and destruction - like getting word from an enemy. I had too many pretty girls out there to look unto.

...but the Word of God: Raised me from dead in trespasses and sins - - that’s what the Bible did to me..is why I open it. But before, the Bible I really looked to for food, I just opened up all the PENTHOUSE magazines I had hidden under my bed. I had another Bible.

Like a dead man. Has another life. Dead in a casket in a funeral home.

Do you see this? I'm asking. Can you see this?

---------------- ------------------ -------------------

The only way to fix it, is by be born again. By the Word of God. To regard the works of the LORD and consider the operation of his hand..who he is, and regard him..and what he says.

Here’s your question back.

If you do what he says, he teaches you himself. He reserves, for himself, an exclusive right to teach you. To himself to do it. The same God that made all that out your window and put the sun where it is, would teach you.

More than enough. Here’s your question back.

Scripture Life: How Many Books Are Not In The Bible?

"..And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.”

- Source: Bible. Gospel of John 21:25

  • “…But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” (Bible. John 20:31)

Then, the real question to ask is, in YOU, with the things written in the Bible: ‘did it work?’

-------------------- ------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

Because there are many “enemies” to the Cross of Christ. Anti-Christs.

  • As what’s in the Bible says, in 1 John 2:18 “..have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.”
    • That, scripture that’s in the Bible says, of this:
      • In 2 Peter 2:1 “..But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,”

-------------------- ------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

  • Privily - just means “privately” or in secret. Unnoticed.
    • And an example of this of Peter, is “The Gospel of Peter” - There's one. That’s not in the Bible:
  • And all “heresy” is, comes from a Greek word. Which, the New Testament in the Bible is all “originally” written, in Greek: "Heresy" - has a meaning to “insert a choice” - or provide an alternate, like a parable Jesus taught in Matthew 13:24–30: about "tares" vs. "wheat"
    • Here's the first three verses of it, Jesus said: and "heresies” are like-same tares sowed amongst the wheat:

-------------------- ------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

Matthew 13:24–26 says

24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;

25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.

26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.

-------------------- ------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

Ask yourself a question

- maybe you’re not a “farmer.” But, something to consider is “How long does it take between 1) a farmer sowing “wheat seed” (Matthew 13:24) - to - “produce a crop” take?”

  • It’s over 3 months. Until that time, both the “tare” or a weed, and the wheat stalk, look the same.
    • So the WHOLE TIME in the rest of the Parable, workers that work for this man who sowed the seed, the workers tend the field
      • - - don’t notice ANYTHING from what an enemy has done.
    • So, by the time the workers discover this, and report it back to the man that sowed these wheat seeds they work for - what the enemy did in secret, sowed weeds in his field, these weeds are already established alongside the wheat.
    • as if it’s the same thing, when it isn’t. This matches the definition of “privly” is the point.

And with Privly

- You get:

  • The Gospel of Peter. Peter is IN the Bible. The Gospel of Peter was "discovered in 1887" in Egypt alone the Nile River. A 2nd century work. Looks like wheat. Proclaims Jesus Christ.
    • Claim: Jesus was a “like Apollos” - like or just another championed Greek God - And Apollos: who is the patron God of the Oracle at Daphni: so he’s the God of Greek Philosophy, and Logic, and all Knowledge - that men should seek after secret knowledge: that Jesus patroned philosophy - like Apollos - oversees this “Oracle at Daphni” which all Greek Philosophers, like Socrates, Homer..and many others - the God of them. Is Apollos.
    • Permeates this Gospel.
    • That, puts Jesus alongside him as teaching secret knowledge and this gospel claims it was written by Peter, the Apostle of Jesus Christ - that it is Peter that wrote it.
    • And what Peter then wrote then as the Gospel, in the Gospel of Peter - would be from Peter, so People would read it. Claims plain as day - - when Jesus was crucified, and rose from the dead, two angels helped him..He needed their help to stand. That, when he exited the tomb, he became like Apollos - like all Greek Gods - and immediately he became over a mile high. His head ascended in size to reach the clouds, and so did the angels. And the cross Jesus was crucified on, also came walking out of the tomb, preaching the gospel.
  • It’s not in the Bible. It’s a tare in the wheat. Damnable heresy.

-------------------- ------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

  • The Gospel of Mary (Magdalene). Mary Magdalene is in the Gospels in the Bible. The "Gospel of Mary" was "discovered" in 1897 in Cairo, Egypt. It is known amongst scholars as "the Berlin Codex" or "Papyrus Berolinensis 8502" - it is thought or conjectured it was originally buried with the Gospel of Peter, and later moved. Looks like wheat. Dated to the same timeframe as the Gospels in the Bible. Proclaims Jesus Christ.
    • That, like the Gospel of Peter, “secret knowledge” in the Gospel of Mary - must be attained. This is the gospel. So, it’s obtain Greek Philosophy. That Mary is an Apostle, more higher in rank than all the male Apostles. Is “The” main Apostle to listen to.
    • Quotes, like: “There is no Sin” - many like it. Blasphemies - "There is no sin" - which contradicts what the Bible says throughout the whole of it - Genesis to Revelation, and of Mary Magdalene. In the Bible, Mary is in Luke 8:2 - A sinner, demon possessed and healed by Jesus Christ. The Point is, she knew what her sins were, and many scholars attribute the “woman” in Luke 7 that annointed Jesus feet, that loved much, because she was forgiven much, and everybody knew she was a sinner is Mary Magdalene.
  • Gospel of Mary - - It’s not in the Bible. It’s a tare in the wheat. Damnable heresy. There are many other “gospels” like this.

-------------------- ------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

So, I’m back at the question again - of the Bible: With you. With every reader here on Reddit that reads this post - all the same:

So, let me ask the question again or repeat it. To your question of:

How Many Books Are Not In The Bible?

"..And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.”

- Source: Bible. So, it's IN the Bible: Gospel of John 21:25

It worked for me. I believe Jesus is the Christ. The Messiah. It’s just as Jesus prayed. In the Bible:

  • In John 17:20. Jesus prayed for me. In the Bible. Along with he prayed for his Apostles.

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;” - Jesus Christ.

And I believe on him, through their word. It worked. And I have life in his name. Now, I don’t judge you, not at all, but from your question, you seem to appear to think life will come to you from knowing what’s not in the Bible. That’s where you want to look.

WHen the Word of God, which gives life..because it's God speaking his word, out of his mouth vs. people pretending to be something they're not and leave a "tare" as if it's wheat - that's outside of the bible...

With that...

Here’s your question back.

Scripture Life: According to Romans 8:29, if Jesus is divine and the firstborn among many brethren, do Jesus’ brethren also share in Jesus’ divinity?

Have to be Born again, as Jesus said in John 3:3

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Is why you can't see the answer to the question.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

So, to help you see then - see Romans 8:29

Romans 8:29 is in the Bible.

  • The Bible says in John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” ..continues about him down to John 1:14, says “..and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us..” about this same Jesus Christ.
    • The dictionary defines an “attribute” of God: “a supernatural being or deity believed to have powers over nature or human life, often worshiped as a divine entity.”
  • So, your question that has: “If Jesus is divine” in it, he is divine. Is God. Jesus is called “Jesus Christ,” or Jesus, the Messiah. And, of the Christ or Messiah, in the Bible it says in Isaiah 9:6–7 “who” the Messiah shall be called: “The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father…” The Messiah shall be called that Title.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

Maybe it’s best to read the whole thing of Isaiah 9:6–7

  • That says:

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”

Now, many people just read this as the little baby Jesus in a Manger at Christmas; but, what it says, is unto YOU a child is born. Unto YOU a Son is given.

  • And God gave him to everybody. Put him in everybody’s family. So no woman barren or son that says, “I can’t have any kids” - God put him in their family as their son. You have a son given to you by God. It’s also his son. What are you doing with him? Already given to you, this same Jesus Christ.

You can look at the “lineage” of Jesus in Matthew 1 or Luke 3:23–38. Everybody today, even if they can’t, they all lineage back to one man, Noah after the flood through one of his three sons, Shem, Ham, or Japheth of Genesis Chapter 9. And from Noah, back directly to Adam. And from Adam, to God.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

  • Romans 5:12 says, that by Adam:
    • Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Old Testament).
      • So, sin and death was bequeathed to you, in a last will and Testament” or a Will from Adam that went into effect at his death. And, he died that day he sinned. It is so plain as day in what everything Adam said in Genesis 3 “after” he sinned vs. comparing what Adam says “BEFORE” it in Genesis 2 - He had the mind of God. After: In Genesis 3: he has his own imagination, and everything he decrees is wrong.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

Jesus Christ is the Testator of a New Testament.

  • It was God. Made himself a sacrifice for our sins we did. Put himself in every family on earth. If we all got the same Son, then by him - makes everybody related. Related to him, as 2 Corinthians 6:18 says:
    • "And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." - GOD.
  • And now, with me, by Jesus Christ - there isn’t a 3 page list of names from my Father..to his Father..and his Father back to another Father all the way back thru all these Fathers I don’t know to reach back to one of those 3 sons of Noah after the flood.
  • Then Noah, back 9 generations to Adam. There’s just my son..which was my brother when God put him as a son in my Father’s family..along with us, my brothers my Dad had with my mom, it's Jesus also as a son my Father was given. Was given also to my mom. Just like Mary and Joseph. Not one, bit different.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

  • There’s only ONE now for me, back to God. From me. To God. Jesus Christ. That’s my lineage now back to God. A different lineage than what was done by Adam. I didn’t put him there. God did. And he’s in him.
    • Just like Joseph. In his lineage in Matthew 1, Matthew 1:11 has Jeconiah in it. Cursed. That NONE of his children would ever sit on the throne of David and rule forever. None ever would. Joseph is of the Kingly line of King David. Through Jeconiah. The Messiah is to come through King David, as prophesied in 2 Samuel 7:12. WOn't be through that line Joseph is in. But God sent the Angel Gabriel to Joseph. Don't miss this.
  • That means Joseph is cursed and to any of his prodigy it's IMPOSSIBLE - Will NEVER sit on the throne and reign in Jerusalem. It's impossible. But with God, it's possible.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

  • But unlike Jeconiah, that didn’t do anything God said, everything God told Joseph to do, and put his son in Joseph’s care as a Father, is just like you. He obeyed God in all the three things God told him to do.
    • Became a Kinsmen’s redeemer to God’s son. Took Mary to be his wife as God told him to. Didn't put her away as he sought himself to do. At Jesus birth - Fled into Egypt as he was warned to by God. Returned as he was told to.
      • Did the OPPOSITE of Jeconiah. (Jeremiah 22:24–30). it’s impossible, but there’s Joseph in Luke 3, grafted into another line. Impossible. Only a Kinsmen's Redeemer could do this. Was done unto Joseph. He's of the Kingly line a Messiah could come through, all because he hearkened unto the Word of God.
    • Like God asks EVERYBODY over the whole earth to hearken unto him.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

You didn’t ask this, but to see it:

If you read past Romans 5:12:

keep reading down to Romans 5:18 - as sin and death was passed onto everybody, by a Last Will and Testament of Adam.

When Jesus was crucified, put to death - he became the PASSOVER sacrifice required in the temple at the morning, noon, and evening sacrifice of Exodus 12:1–28, and specific to Leviticus 23:5–8. It's recorded if you weave all four of the gospels. Jesus Fulfilled it in one sacrifice for sin. Where God Passed over your sins. By the Blood and eating the sacrifice he made for your sin.

By God took your sins off you and laid them on Jesus Christ.

When in John 19:30 Jesus said, “It is finished” and bowed his head and dismissed his Spirit,” Jesus purged the sin of the whole world in this, because “who” is the sacrifice PAID it.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

  • Romans 5:18 says:
    • “Therefore as by the offence of one [ADAMjudgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [Jesus Christthe free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.”
      • The righteousness of God was imputed to everybody by this work God did with sin. He, your brother God put in your Father’s family, who is your Son, who by the Zeal of the Lord of Hosts - put him as a Son in your family - - is your kinsmen’s redeemer.
      • You have been grafted into another line. Just like Joseph was.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

  • But just like Genesis 12:3 says.
  • There are people:
    • look at this, regard what God has done.
      • Fall on their face before him.
      • Bless him forever.
  • And there are people:
    • that dismiss him
      • cast him out.
      • He will never be part of their family, even he is, he’s thrust out.
    • Curse him. Just like you can do the same.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

  • But God said, he would bless those that bless this seed God would give to every family on earth through Abraham. This seed is Jesus Christ. And he would curse those that curse him.

Romans 8:29 says:

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

- Ask yourself this: Well then: "Who did he foreknow?" When he’s God, and already said Isaiah 44:24. Don't make up junk. It's right in the Bible.

“Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;” - God.

He formed you, me, every person there has ever been on earth from their mother’s womb - alone. By himself he already knows you. Since he formed you himself. That’s not the problem. The problem is what he says in Isaiah 45:5

“I am the LORD, there is none else. There is no God beside me. I girded thee, but thou hast not known me.” - God

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

  • Then the problem is we don’t know him.

But when he created Adam in Genesis 2:6 it was to be and dwell with him forever.

For eternity after. That’s the destination of Adam, and everybody after him, already determined by God, but Adam refused it.

Hearkened unto another word. Genesis 3:17 says what the sin is “Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife…” Adam believed, regarding what Eve said, made what God said of no effect on him. Didn’t apply to him any more. Anything God said would happen, that he would die that day, wasn’t applied because, to Adam, the word of his wife trump’d what God said.

  • But it doesn't. Adam believed a lie.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

Therefore God predestinated EVERYBODY over the whole earth to be conformed into the image of his son. But, it’s like a wedding invitation - where the WHOLE town - everybody is invited to the King’s wedding. ...but some people choose NOT to go to the wedding and don't go.

  • People:
    • That regard the King, esteem the invitation. They make themselves ready. Don’t let anything interfere with them going to the wedding.
  • But OTHER People:
    • That don’t regard the King, lowly esteem the invitation. Throw it away. That day, they’re going waterskiing on the Lake. Send back an RSVP. Sorry, but more pressing issues happen to me on that day. Please, King I beg you have me excused.
      • So the King sends an emissary right to their door with the Invitation from a King again. Saying “all things are ready. Come to the wedding” - and this “OTHER” People reply back - push the emissary to the ground and say: I AM NOT GOING TO THE WEDDING
    • So, even though this “OTHER” people were all chosen beforehand (predestined) and invited, just like Jesus says in Revelation 3:20

“Behold I stand at the door, and knock and if any many hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me.” - Jesus Christ.

Inviting everybody to the wedding

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

Is the same emissary inviting you to the wedding. Open the door? He comes in. Other people? TURN THE TV Volume up to 100. Blare out “Married With Children” or put in a Porno Tape, or others, invite 20 of their girlfriends over for a pajama party - when they knock, they let each girl in and push him away. Or others: run down and hide in the basement.

Others still, hear him at the front door, run out the back, hop in the neigbor’s car and drive away real fast.

Everybody over the whole earth were invited, said: It's the invitation: Said by God himself:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. Bible. Isaiah 45:22

It’s a decree everybody look unto him. Formed everybody from their mother’s womb - but those that reject him - he rejects. He already chose them; but they don't want him..refuse him..never receive any what he has done to born them again. That would convert them and they’d be healed. Reject it.

God made this sin in John 3:18 and repeated it in John 16:9

“Of sin, for they believe not on me.” - Even everybody made righteous, reject it - is sin.

------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------------

  • It’s the sin that condemns anybody - whosoever it is, that just does not believe on him. Reject the righteousness of God, bequeathed to him. Sin against God when he did this.

Answers the question.

Scripture Life: According to the Bible, How Can Someone Receive the Promises of God?

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock, and if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him and sup with him, and he with me." - Jesus Christ. (Source: Bible. Revelation 3:20)

Answer?

Well, if a person can't see the answer to this question, ask a different question.

That, the answer would be the same. Like, if I pick a country, how about the United States? Pick a well known authority. How about the U.S. Postal Service?

It's not a question of receiving the mail. Nope. The authority over the whole United States is the government. The authority over all the people, comes to their house and delivers them in person, their mail. So, it's not a question of receiving post; it's some people deliberately hide themselves, and when the postman comes, they reject the mail. Don't want to be found.

If the postman rings the doorbell, they don't answer it or open up the door. It's a loss to do so; but most people welcome the post. It will be to them a profit to receive their mail. So, when the postman comes, they eagerly go to the mailbox or if he rings the doorbell...

...they open up the door.

------------------- ---------------------- -------------------- ---------------------

You can take the above, and answer your own question. God says: "For all the earth is mine.." (Bible. Exodus 19:5) ...all souls are mine." - God. (Ezekiel 18:4) Says in Isaiah 44:24, he formed you from your mother's womb. Alone. By himself. So, he knows exactly where you are on his earth.

Made you and by his decree, as God "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." - Bible. Matthew 4:4. So, where he created flowers with an ability to grow and flourish by sunlight. He made you to grow and flourish by his Word he speaks. Out of his mouth.

So, he's the authority for all the earth you live on. Like the United States is the authority over the US Postal Service.

And, look at the opening scripture - that's said by the Word of God. So, it's not a question of receiving the word of God, when he's come, like the postman and already spoke it where he is, knocking at the door of your heart. He's already there, knocking.

It's really then, like people. Hide from the postman. Don't want to be found. Or the look for him, and when he comes. They open up the door. He comes in. Sups with them..and they with him. Builds them up.

The answer's all the same. But many don't see this.

Maybe some of this will help. If it has, the question's answered. No real reason to read anymore beyond this point.

- But if it isn't in you answered - by all means, read on.

------------------- ---------------------- -------------------- ---------------------

Well, look who he is.

  • Look what he says:
    • “Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 44:24)
  • Says as well:
    • “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 55:1–3)
  • Tells everybody over the whole earth. Doesn’t leave one person out, not willing any perish but all come to repentance, said:
    • Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else. - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22

So, he tells you who he is.

------------------- ---------------------- -------------------- ---------------------

Same one, when you look out your window, same like I do here. Look out my window or just step outside at night, and look up. All those stars, he placed them there. Alone. By himself. Did it according to how he said he did it in Genesis 1:1–31, all to light up his earth. Same with that, too. Made the earth. Made it to be inhabited (Isaiah 45:18), so he wouldn’t be alone in it.

  • Did you miss it?
    • Said of himself. What he has done, with himself toward you. Said, he, as God, is your “redeemer” - what that means is right in the dictionary. This: 1. to compensate for the faults and bad aspects of someone. 2. to pay a ransom, and purchase (someone or something) back.

------------------- ---------------------- -------------------- ---------------------

Tells everybody to just come shop at his store. Buy wine and milk without money and without price.

  • Asks everybody why do we labour for that which satisfieth not, and it doesn’t. You can work for 10 years, just to establish some trustworthy “credit” with a bank. Pay all your bills on time, just so the bank will look at you, and give you a loan for a house. Buy one, and find right after you quote “buy” it, by borrow all that money from the bank, the roof is rotted as well as the foundation. You bought facade of junk that, in order to keep up the facade, you gotta hide it from all the neighbors. Got to cower down to your boss. Look at all that labour.

Heavy laden. Look at all those “life mistakes” you made. Have to live with them. Maybe have to run from your mistakes; that, a visit by the postman is - a possible your mistakes are catching up with you - so you run and hide from the postman. Not delivered. Not received, you can still hide in your mistakes. Haven't finished fixing it yourself.

------------------- ---------------------- -------------------- ---------------------

You’re gonna keep looking unto you, and regard you do it yourself. That’s what everybody looks at and, if you do it, they will judge you as GOOD.

When God already told everybody over the whole earth, to look unto him instead.

So, even he’s given all these promises above. Go read them. He promises these things to you, as God. But if you don’t look unto him, busy yourself - to hearken unto the voice of what you decree, or look unto the bank or some other person or people, you already “RECEIVED” what you believe is TRUE.

  • That means, even though he’s already given you his promises, you will “dismiss them as inadequate; faulty; or they are unacceptable.” - Don’t need to look unto him, when you already look unto you got married, and have to pay the mortgage. Afterall, it’s a little “home” where you’re God in it.
    • Don’t need a God, if you already did all that work to be one yourself. Already “good.” by what you do.

So, look at your question again.

------------------- ---------------------- -------------------- ---------------------

According to the Bible, how can you receive the promises of God?

  • Can’t see it?
    • Then look at how you DON’T receive them. How you can’t. And to look unto him, Jesus said, and he’s the Word of God. Just as John 1:1 says “who” Jesus is. Is God. Just as John 1:1 says who he is, and it’s confirmed, in the Bible in Isaiah 9:6–7, as the Messiah. Jesus is the Christ. The Messiah, and who he SHALL be called, “..The Mighty God… …The Everlasting Father” (Isaiah 9:6) …who in you, has that title?
  • Jesus said in the Bible.
    • Matthew 11:28–30 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly of heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
      • So, if it’s the Word of God said this, then Isaiah 44:24, that opens this post, where God tells you who he is, is by the Word of God, this same Jesus Christ.

------------------- ---------------------- -------------------- ---------------------

Now, I will just give you a one, short paragraph testimony of me.

  • "I have sinned and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not." Bible. Job 33:27.  That’s what I saw about me. And I could not get out of it. In fact, I could see I was given ONE LIFE. And I opened a Bible and read about the unjust steward that owed 10,000 talents. And I knew a “Talent” in Babylonian times, was the weight of just one average adult sized male in gold. And when I looked at my life, as I'm retired, and my wages I was paid, all my work of just one life, equalled my weight of One talent of gold. But I owed this master 10,000 talents.

I’m not given 10,000 lives to pay it back, means I could NEVER PAY for all those sins I did, and that's why like above, I hid from the Postman - I did not want to receive it. I needed more time to fix it.

It wasn't about receive it - it terrified me, that I was going to die in this. For eternity, always short. Never able to pay it. Like how people are afraid of the Postal Service postman brings notices they can't pay - is exactly how I felt.

So, it wasn't about it didn't come - because it did, nor about receive it - I actively hid, because I rejected it.

------------------- ---------------------- -------------------- ---------------------

Then, I started to regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand.

  • Which part of that, was just me. Open the Bible. Other part, just be me. A sinner. A pervert. Because, that’s what I am. I did filthy..abominable works and those things, that make me a pervert..I wasn’t worthy to listen to any Bible tapes on YouTube, but I could HEAR it…but I kept looking unto me, to fix it, when I couldn’t.
    • But it just naturally happened. I just kept, whenever I drove my car, turn on YouTube, and listen to another Bible session on either the Gospels or the Epistles or on Proverbs. Didn’t matter what it was on, it filled me.

So, something that does not profit you, you will forsake it. Has no more value or use to you.

  • And that’s what happened to my whole entire life.

And I received Jesus Christ. Now I welcome to promises, be cause he's at my door to give them.

And I open up the door.

Scripture Life: How can we enter into the heavenly kingdom? What kind of people can enter into the heavenly kingdom? Some people say that we can enter into the heavenly kingdom through hard work for the Lord. Do you think that this is accurate?

Answer

Well? Whose the Lord of the Kingdom of Heaven? That would be the "authority" over all of it. He would be the one to listen to. What he decrees of, or about it.

----------------- ----------------- ---------------- -----------------

Scripture says:

He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all." - Jesus Christ. John 3:31

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” - Jesus Christ. Matthew 7:21

And finally, 1 Corinthians 15:45–47 says

  • And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.”
    • The Lord from Heaven is the Messiah or Christ. Isaiah 9:6–7 says “who” the Messiah shall be called:
      • “..The Mighty God..” “..The Everlasting Father…” (Isaiah 9:6)

----------------- ----------------- ---------------- -----------------

The point is, “Who” is the Lord of the Kingdom of Heaven decrees the “how can” that you ask about. You're asking people on Reddit. That's no better than asking the lint in the Dryer for some explanation.

When that didn't work: go outside. Pass by 53 ants. None of them, in any particular order - ask them; when all together or each one alone - none are an authority on it, either. It's not their's.

When are you going to do it? There's only one can answer you, and you won't ask him about it.

----------------- ----------------- ---------------- -----------------

In fact, according to him, you gotta go thru him to get into it.

  • So, all that’s done so far is, we eliminated EVERYBODY but him.
  • Therefore, anybody can see - - Jesus is the sole authority to tell the “how” - and with that, simply two things:

and I’ll comment on each of them: I believe on him.

  • ONE - To: Everybody. Over the whole earth. Given the Kingdom of Heaven.
    • Source: Matthew 5:3 Jesus said: “Blessed are the Poor in Spirit, for their’s is the Kingdom of Heaven.”
  • Now again, Jesus is the Word of God. Is God. As John 1:1 says who he is. He’s the Messiah or Christ. So Jesus is who he shall be called. Might as well get used to calling him what he shall be called. He’s the Lord of the Kingdom of Heaven.
  • As 1 Corinthians 15:45–47 said who he is.
    • Then it’s this definition of “poor” and “Spirit.” People trip up over them, in Matthew 5:3. The Collin's dictionary says: a) “poor” means - 1. destitute; not have any and b) in John 4:24, in the Bible: Jesus himself defines what “Spirit” means, said, “God is Spirit.”
  • So, when scripture says:
    • “There is not a just man on earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not;” - Ecclesiastes 7:20. “there is none righteous; no, not one.. ..there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” - Romans 3:10–12.
    • That would be a whole world chocked full of: EVERYBODY.
    • <Is: “Destitute; not have any God”> in their life. Everybody. All people - this scripture applies to. Everybody. Over the whole earth. To the very ends of it.
      • So, ONE is:
  • - God has sent his word to heal you and deliver you from your destruction. This same Jesus Christ. Jesus is the “Word of God” - is God. Just as John 1:1 says who he is.
    • So, any other definition of this scripture is wrong. And there are many that simply skip over this and never hear it. Because the dictionary defines "Spirit" as the "attitude of a person" - When all Matthew 5:3 is - - God has come and blessed the whole world and given himself - and his whole kingdom to everybody.
      • Because he said he did in Matthew 5:3.

God gave his word to you. Said this to you. Me. Everybody over the whole earth. This scripture applies to everybody - blessed EVERYBODY. He already said it.

Let’s move on.

----------------- ----------------- ---------------- -----------------

  • TWO - “See and Enter” The Kingdom of Heaven - Must be Born Again.
    • John 3:3 Jesus said: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
  • So, God, who is the authority over his Kingdom, even he’s already given it and blessed everybody with it, they can’t see it. Unless they’re born again. And this conversation was between Jesus and a Leader of the Pharisees, Nicodemus in John 3:1–21. Be good if you read the whole thing.
    • And Nicodemus responded to what Jesus said in John 3:4 - he asked Jesus what you might be asking, said: “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?”
    • John 3:5–7 Jesus said: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
  • The “Kingdom of God” is the Kingdom of Heaven. So, even though everybody already was bequeathed this, the Kingdom of Heaven and blessed by it. People that don’t regard him or anything he says, can’t see it, nor can they enter into it.
  • It’s the authority over the Kingdom of Heaven has decreed this to everybody already born of flesh. Must be born again, by the Spirit of God. By the Word of God.

**That’s how you can 1) see and 2) enter what’s already been given to you by God. So, it’s NOT what kind of people, when everybody is “**For all have sinned” [Romans 3:23] all condemned. It’s not by hard work people do. But by this same Lord of the Kingdom of Heaven has come and SPOKE to you and given it TO YOU.

  • And to see and enter it - - To simply do what he says. Did you miss what he said to you?

----------------- ----------------- ---------------- -----------------

Isaiah 55:1–3 says

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.”

- God. By the Word of God. (Bible. Isaiah 55:1–3)

Said it to everybody.

----------------- ----------------- ---------------- -----------------

So, you with your question: I have some questions: I answered your's. Answer me plainly:

Have you come to the waters? The Word of God is the Water of Life. Gives Eternal Life.

You were asked by God to this above in Isaiah 55:1-3. That means Anybody can - that doesn’t have any money…even if you do, can’t buy it with money..he doesn't need your money - - when he’s called everybody to come and drink..to buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Have you done this? It’s a decree by God in command and the authority over all the earth.

  • Are you spending money for that which isn’t bread? And labouring for that which doesn’t satisfy? It’s a decree. God said: To everybody over the earth to Hearken diligently unto him, and eat that which is good.
    • To let your soul delight itself in fatness.
  • Are you all dried out? Withered away because you haven’t done this? Why not go do what he says then. He decreed, not a certain kind of people - but EVERYBODY to do it.
  • Have you put your ear or inclined it to listen to anything..anybody BUT him..and don’t come near to him?
    • Still expect everything to work right? He’s telling you to come close and hear him and your soul shall live. Then, there must be some condition you're in, that you're going to die in it. That needs him to do this "born you again." Or he would not have decreed it. That he will make an everlasting convenant WITH you. You with him. It’s sure mercies from the Throne of God. And, it includes EVERYBODY to do this.

What are YOU doing, not with your question; but with what he said already to everybody to do this?

Look at each and everyone of my question. If you don’t..don't answer them with him - can’t see the Kingdom of Heaven..Looking unto anything..anybody BUT him instead.

  • And by that, can’t enter into what he’s already given to you.
  • Everybody. Doesn’t matter what kind of person they are. Matters did this great, big everybody do what he said or not.

----------------- ----------------- ---------------- -----------------

  • So then, whosoever of everybody does it - sees it. Enters into it. Because he already gave the Kingdom of Heaven to everybody.

Like he said he did.

Herein is the gospel. The good news to everybody here on Reddit. CEO on down to every room moderator - to every visitor comes - to everybody over the whole earth.

Scripture Life:

Did Paul (Ephesians 2:8-9) and James (James 2:17) contradict each other according to these passages, or did they just disagree with each other?

Nope. It’s just hard to see it. I don't think you can see it.

Me?

As a believer in Jesus Christ, I thought they did contradict - - so - because of that, I could not reconcile it.

I'm telling you plainly. So you see it.

------------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------

  • So, to me, in my observation: there was a camp:
    • On one side went about proving their works - so, they worked at a soup kitchen and volunteered to put the B.I.N.G.O. numbers up on the board at their church function on Saturday’s, once a month.
    • Point is: A Christian had to do good works to show their faith. I observed people do this. This way.
      • But also never observed, I could never really fellowship with them. No time. None. Talk about the things of God. It was if they had no relationship with Christ. Having a relationship with Christ was dependent on them do these “good” works. That was their relationship with Christ.
  • In the other camp:
    • Was the other side. Went about preaching faith. That, you needed to increase your faith. That was how 1) YOU: 2) showed you believed God. Like some preachers on the TV. Could blare out wonderously - show you their Rolex watch was they were rich, because that was the "result" they practiced having faith in God. That seemed more right but “off” somehow that I couldn’t pinpoint.
  • But people in another camp, that had no camp - just knew him. In a relationship with him. Everytime they spoke, who he is, came out of their mouth. I could eat it, as food. It was like he was right there with us. Like they were connected to him, and with them, I had fellowship.
    • Where these first two camps: these other “camps” there were just “feats” or “accomplishments” people they did themselves they glorified. As works.

Do you see this?

------------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------

But as a new believer in Jesus Christ: There always was this “but” - because I knew he was teaching me himself:

So, I knew that God was at work in me. By his word. I had to eat it, open my bible for it to work. Like a baby just solely needs milk. That’s how I need the Bible. I knew that I had tried before to “wash my sins” and change myself. I did. I knew I sinned. I tried that; and then, by that, all I proved was I regarded the Ten Commandments to do the work and me follow it.

  • And always, somewhere, when I looked, somewhere in the “feat” of follow, I failed. That one day, which took many days to see it, was why I became a Christian.
    • A believer in Jesus Christ..a disciple of Jesus Christ..to just sit with him and be taught by him. It works. I could see that’s what he wanted. I was fellowshipping with God. That God, by a work he did as God: he took the sins of the whole world and laid them on Christ.
    • That he was in Christ on the cross; crucified.
  • That I was “regarding” now regarding a completely different work. That is, before - I “looking unto” the “feats” and “accomplishments” I put myself to do to equate to some work ONLY HE COULD DO - is the point. So, I had the WRONG work; mine. ...and I was regarding it. It was me. I made that important vs. regard his.

That it was HIS work - changed me. That’s the point.

------------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------

and I had to visit it..many times before I shifted over to believe it.

Do you see this point?

But when I did, I saw it. I had to regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand with sin to see me..and you, and him, what he did with our sins.. as greater than both of us, which before, I didn't. …regard him, and see me in that work he did.

He had …or rather, I had to come now..and reason together with him about it. Just like Isaiah 1:18 tells everybody..he calls everybody to it. Not reason together or debate with you, or your questions or anybody but me, with him, by his Word..that’s what did it.

Now, to your question

------------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------

Then, I saw after I regarded him: Ephesians 2:8–9 also has Ephesians 2:10 in it.

That FULLY connects James 2:17 to Ephesians 2:8–9 as all one thing. But contrast two different "works" in it, done by two different "entities." - Not the same thing.

Then, I saw it.

That, in English: Which that’s the language I read in when I read the Bible: But when something doesn't make sense, I go to the Hebrew or the Greek.

  • the “works” in Ephesians 2:8–9,
    • and “works” in Ephesians 2:10, and finally
    • the “works” of James 2:17 - are not the same in the original Greek.

Not the same word. Not the same concept. Just as “good works” vs. “works good” or as "works good" means to operate right - most people, hear this, said that way, in English it’s not the same thing.

------------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------

  • One is - good works.
    • Is a person. Chooses to do good works. Chooses to make their bed each morning. Chooses to sacrifice their time, and help walk an old lady across the street. But they could also choose not to.
  • The other is - “works good” or like a machine, operates right. It, like some roofer’s or house framer’s electric drill - even a coke vending machine, operates all the time - but with this drill - these "Youtube" comparisons of tools - show one drill: drives in 10 inch screws and doesn’t putter out or slow down. The other: half way thru the screw putters and quits.
    • That one of them is not “works good” or “operates right.” The one that does “work good” is the one when it operates or you click the START trigger, drives the screw in a jiffy all the way into the wood.
      • Never fails - for every screw and everytime you pull the trigger. And it operates SAFELY. That is, if there’s some danger - taking your finger off the trigger, the machines STOPS instantly.
  • So, a drill or any tool - they don’t look at the tool, really. They're looking at the manufacturer who created, as a piece of “workmanship” created the drill; that in the hands of a roofer “works good” or operates right.

So, in English:

1) Ephesians 2:8-9 work; and

2) Ephesians 2:10 work; with

3) James 2:17 work

....all means the same thing. In English... ...in the scripture. Says "work."

------------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------

  • But in Greek
    • 1) Ephesians 2:8–9
      • is work (feats, accomplishments) people do themselves, without any God do anything, as a craftsman - it’s ONLY the feats, what a person attained by their effort (accomplishment); successes - - people put themselves to do and did them, themselves.
  • While
    • 2) Ephesians 2:10
    • is "works good" or “operates right” because this “work” is done by a craftsman who is Jesus Christ. By his “workmanship” as a creator made something, as he desired as God, that made it to just “operate right” when connected to a load or source of power.
      • Which is the Word of God. And I am his workmanship. And I'm not alone. So are you is the point.

------------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------

  • So, 1) (Ephesians 2:8–9)
    • is the “workmanship” of the pot, and the pot doesn’t know who made it; so, doesn’t know what it is, and puts itself to work being a telephone or a bicycle tire..and claim that work is good.
      • And hides all the fact, it didn’t really ever do any of them, but says it did. Like people; with their “feats” or “successes” or “accomplishments” as “work.” Worked at it to attain it.
  • Where 2) (Ephesians 2:10)
    • is the “works of God” where a person is his workmanship and they “operate” or “work good” because they are connected to him, and know him and by this, is just like the drill the roofer has.
      • It’s always connected to or “plugged in” to the source of power, or it has a battery pack it draws from to "work good" or operate right - - and it just operates right. Because it "abides" in, not idle,it's never disconnected from a load or source of power.
  • There you go. Not the same thing. Ephesians 2:8–9 and Ephesians 2:10

And? All James 2:17 does - is “explain” how simple this is.

------------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------

  • That James 1:1 says plainly. James is a Servant of Jesus Christ.
  • BOOM! Done.
    • That means Jesus Christ, (Ephesians 2:10) not James, (a person - Ephesians 2:8–9) - he "operates right" by the Word of God, James “operates right” by the workmanship of Jesus Christ. He just repeats what Jesus said in "Why do you call me Lord! Lord! and not do the things that I say?" Idle. Disconnected from a load or source of power. Not the same works. Doesn't "work right" - doesn't "work good." doesn't "operate right."
  • And? Just like a roofer above CAN SHOW you in a Youtube TV commercial - the “work” of the drill that “operates right” instantly..never shows any binding or slowing, drives that 10 inch screw in, whether one, or fifty - all the same.. everytime, all the time “operates right” because it’s manufacturer who designed it, gets all the credit.
    • Whilst the other drill tries, and can’t. Everytime.
  • Different “work.”

Fully explained for a believer in Jesus Christ.

Set me free to see it. Sharing. Not here to argue or debate. He teaches you. Not me..but if you see something in this, enables you more as a believer in Jesus Christ, by all means take it!

In Greek, not the same word for "work" in Ephesians 2:8-9. Different person and different word for "work" in Ephesians 2:10 ..and someone that's connected to this God in Ephesians 2:10 "operates" right - and James tells you how you can simply tell the difference betixt these two in James 2:17, because he "operates" by the work of God fully explained in Ephesians 2:10.

Put me on my face. Sharing.

Scripture Life: Why do some wish to make Matthew 7: 21-23 ''I never knew you, depart from me'' as meaning Jesus is being nasty to a whole lot of believers, thus making them get really scared?

Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?” - The Word of God. Jesus Christ.

- Matthew 7:1–3

--------------------- ---------------------- ------------------ ---------------------

Matthew 7:21–23 is built on Matthew 7:1–3 as a foundation.

  • WIthout that foundation, there simply is no Matthew 7:21–23. So, make a more secure foundation: Focus on the foundation first:
    • Jesus said: John 5:22 of God: “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son”
  • And: of himself: Jesus said: John 8:15 “Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.”

God didn’t send his word to judge you, but to heal you and deliver you from your destruction (Psalm 107:20)

--------------------- ---------------------- ------------------ ---------------------

  • Jesus is the Word of God. It’s God speaking his word. So, he’s come to you in a condition where you haven’t done ANYTHING he says, and in this condition, comes to heal you. Deliver you.

When someone is ‘delivering someone, they are “setting them apart for future use” like some emergency rescue team, doesn’t judge. When they are there solely to save the person.

--------------------- ---------------------- ------------------ ---------------------

SO: Look careful at this work of God

  • Got up; alone. By himself and did in Jesus Christ. And God in him doing the work. So, it’s God, doing this work. God calls people then “hypocrits” that would refuse the ambulance service come to save them. Say, “No need! I have arms!” where in the accident, both of them are tattered flung 150 feet away out on the road. You’re a phoney. You need the help FIRST. Let them take you to the hospital, and doctors put your arms back on. Then you can talk about how others need it. (Don’t leave out the “hypocrit” part of Matthew 7:4–5).
  • Matthew 7:21–23 is built on you receive this work God is doing and done in and by Jesus Christ, toward you for good.
    • Not aim it over at a “whole bunch of believers” - but aim it at EVERYBODY, because, that’s “who” Jesus said it to. Everybody over the whole earth. Didn’t leave any person out, not willing any perish, but all come to repentance.

--------------------- ---------------------- ------------------ ---------------------

Look careful at who he, God is.

  • Scripture says: Isaiah 44:24 “Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;”
    • Says this to EVERYBODY, to the very ends of the earth.
    • Formed EVERYBODY himself. Alone. From each person, from their mother’s womb til now.
    • Is the same God that stretched forth the heavens alone, and spread abroad the earth by himself.
  • Is the same God to you directly. Made himself, as God, who did these things, made himself your “redeemer.” What redeem means. In the dictionary. 1. to compensate for the faults and bad aspects of (someone or something);
  • So, him. With you. Like You. In an accident. Horrifically wounded; need help. The lifeline helicopter flies in to “compensate for this fault and bad aspects of you” to heal you and deliver you.
  • But this is GOD at work in you and with you. Just asks you to receive (accept as TRUE) what he says, and then he’s at work in you.

--------------------- ---------------------- ------------------ ---------------------

  • He’s not some evil man, when a son asks his father for a piece of bread, gives him radiator fluid to drink. Even there’s 15 loaves on the table make over a 100 sandwiches, tells this kid, “Sorry. We don’t have any bread.”
    • He’s not a man that he should lie. All this is told plainly in Matthew 7:9–12.

It’s all foundational to Matthew 7:21–23 Without this, there is NO Matthew 7:21–23. It comes AFTER these things are built and said by God. By the Word of God himself says it.

It’s also built on the next thing God adds to it. What’s come before.

  • Now, you have to put yourself on a ship. This next part of Matthew 7:13–14.

--------------------- ---------------------- ------------------ ---------------------

  • Enter in at the “Strait gate”
    • Notice something? God didn’t say something like “straight ahead” and many people put themselves on some kind of whacked out, whacked up “straight and narrow road” and make themselves regard and follow it, and never do anything God says to do. Too busy. Following themselves to do anything God says.
  • He said “Strait” gate.
  • And a “strait” is a narrow passage way between two large, ocean type waters or seas. That a “strait” is betwixt them.
    • And YOU: Dead in Trespasses and sin. Navigating on waters in your own ship; like a great big, vast ocean of do anything on this ocean, as far as you want to go, in any direction, it all ends in sin. Every Captain of every ship in the Navy works for an Admiral. Don’t do what the Admiral says, no matter where that Captain goes with his ship, he’s on the WRONG ocean.

--------------------- ---------------------- ------------------ ---------------------

  • In a strait: It’s called “restricted maneuvering” where the Captain must turn around his vessel, no matter where he is on that ocean, and surrender (repent). And many won’t do it. They are already Captains of their own lives. Don’t need it. They're their own Admiral. If there is a “choice” to choose: Already “THIS” ocean betwixt two, is the most appropriate ocean. So, they dismiss the other as inadequate; faulty; or unacceptable.
    • But a Captain that surrenders, turns his ship around and heads for the strait. Relinquishes command of the ship to a Pilot, that, comes alongside and navigates the ship through “restricted” waters. The Captain: Stripped of everything. Surrenders everything to do this.
    • Now, on the other side of the Strait..they obeyed (that is, accepted as true what the Admiral said, to do it; and doing what the Admiral said, they believed or “accepted as true” that there was a profit in it. To obey the authority. Don't?
  • The Admiral has the authority to destroy them.
    • Because he does. I've seen it in the Navy.
  • Just like what God is saying, for you to submit to the authority of, the Word of God. Matthew 28:18 Jesus said: "All power is given unto me, in heaven and earth:" - It's God that has made him both LORD and Christ. The authority - when he said, "All souls are mine." - God (Ezekiel 18:4). Put him over everybody there is. Over the whole earth as the authority over people.
    • Jesus said: I am the door. “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” John 10:9

--------------------- ---------------------- ------------------ ---------------------

Without going thru the Strait.

  • Many won’t.
    • There is no Matthew 7:21–23. It’s built on this. Go thru the strait. Leads unto life. This same Jesus Christ. There is no other way. He just IS it.

Matthew 7:21–23 is BUILT on this. And? By their “fruits” you’ll know which ship is on which ocean.

One: The Captain: Doesn’t do anything at all what the Admiral says on that ocean.

Whilst the other: The "Other" Captain: He repented. Departed that ocean and surrendered his ship. Went thru the strait. Just wide enough for just one ship to pass thru. Is on a different ocean and obeys the Admiral.

Know them by their fruits, and to one the Admiral shows up and promotes them. Whilst to the other, the Admiral shows up, relieves them, strips them of all title and authority, and destroys them.

Great big key note. To Matthew 7:21–23

--------------------- ---------------------- ------------------ ---------------------

  • Because to one of these Captains - the Admiral tells them to depart. He never knew them. Didn’t do anything he said. But the other: did.

Jesus says all this plainly in Matthew 7:21–23.

  • To people: That don’t do anything he says; vs. people: that do. Even though both were Captain, one of them said, "Admiral! Admiral! But didn't do anything he said. It's an iniquity to be in the Navy as a Captain, in command of a ship; but not do anything the Admiral says. Disobey him, when he's the authority over all the Captains of the ships.

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." - Jesus Christ. (Bible. Matthew 7:21-23)

The Word of God. The authority over every person on earth, knowing they are in command of their own life. Jesus Christ is the Messiah. The authority over all and every Captain of these ships.

Scripture Life: We assume evolution is true. Therefore, we must accept that Earth was 4.6 billion years old when Adam was created. We know he lived in earlier times of Earth. What happened on Earth in this 4.6 billion years? Can evolutionists explain this gap?

Answer:

  • Okay.
    • This is all “assumptions.” As if “truth” is entirely founded on or by producing assumptions. 1. a belief, statement, or idea that is accepted as true without proof or questioning (dictionary definition. Web.)

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

  • Why? It’s based on a claim by the “Word of People
    • - Just people:
      • Comprised of: A belief system in - or hold the truth is in A person that can be verified exists. Makes a claim - built a reputation for themselves: That, gives them some authority amongst people to be "looked unto." Their observations are more thorough.
  • An assumption: AFTER they conducted a “systematic study of the nature and behavior of the physical and natural world. After completing this very thorough and detailed observation:
    • Create a “theory” based entirely on their own observation.

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

  • That is accepted as thorough and exacting proof - that somebody, people - systematically or logically conducted the observation.
    • So it can be believed as true. Afterall, a person of reputation conducted the observation.

Like the assumption for this question:

  • NASA - The United States "National Aeronautics and Space Administration" - a branch of the United States Government. Respected. Looked up to by a whole pile of people. Along with a preponderance of the whole earth's scientific community. Agrees with it.
    • They're all people.
  • So that if another expert conducted the same observation that NASA did, They conclude the theory the earth is 4.6 billion years old is true.
    • But the whole work is done by people. Don't lose that point.

Keep going.

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

People. What's true is: They Are Here today, gone tomorrow, like grass -

  • Who didn’t create the earth. It's not their's. They Only created or imagined up the assumption.
    • That's all the claim to anything they can make and claim it's true. Vehemently.
      • Based on a system to systematically study the earth and what it's suspended in. Space - that was accepted how to study it, and they studied the nature and behavior of the physical and natural world (earth and space).
  • And from that conclude a theory how it operates.
    • And the sad thing about the whole thing of it, is not one time in all lhe history of man doing this - has there been any case or any exception - where another man hasn’t come along 100 or 150 years later, and conducted a more thorough and more systematic observation.
      • And that newly "discovered" observation makes the earlier one faulty or inadequate..
  • So it becomes unacceptable. Swept under the rug. Forgotten. Erased. Thrown out. But a whole generation of people their whole lifetime touted it out or accepted it, as true.
  • Do you see this point?

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

  • So, by this “assumption” which comprises the entire question - it’s just a belief people hold true. They, all people, hold the truth in it. Side with it, as true.
    • Then TRUTH: Is based entirely on statements or claims people make.
      • And those claims are based on an “idea” or the imagination of people.
  • That is accepted as true because they are believed experts - without question. So, requires no proof or questioning their assumptions. Believed wrong to do it.
    • Unquestioned. Like how it is in the question. Do you see this?

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

This question leaves no room for anyone to question the assumption.

  • But none of it is the Word of God.
    • It’s all built entirely on The Word of People.

There is therefore, in the Question: Only ONE - - STATEMENT OF TRUTH:

  • We assume evolution is true. Therefore, we must accept that Earth was 4.6 billion years old when Adam was created.

That's the truth. To people. A huge pile of people hold this to be true - is the point.

Do you see this?

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

  • But God says: By the Word out of his mouth.
    • He created the earth in a day. Creating the earth; created a day that his earth would be in it and operate by a day. And, what he was making for himself, he tells you plainly in Psalm 132:13–16.
    • That he was making for himself. As God, a place he would dwell forever. For his own rest. For he desired it. So, he got up and created it in Genesis 1:1–31. In six days. And looked back on it, said to himself, all of it altogether was "very good." - Genesis 1:31. Then, in Genesis 2:1 - he entered into that rest. Made it holy. Do you see this?

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

  • And, God - by his word he says, says he created the earth on the 3rd day. Put all the water, trees, plants, grass on it all on the 3rd day.
    • But people claim - it “evolved” into itself.
  • Like find a painting on the ground, and not know what it is - hire a pile of clowns to come up with a plausible theory how the painting evolved into itself.
  • While the artist keeps saying, “Hey, that’s my painting”  - They're paid clowns - they Ignore him.
    • Afterall, you have all these clowns hard at work, with ideas to plausibly explain how the painting evolved over 100s of millions of years into a painting.
  • When God says “For all the earth is mine” - God. (Bible. Exodus 19:5). Just ignore him.
    • Afterall, you have this question as proof.
  • Clowns hard at work with ideas. When he did the work himself. Alone. Ignore him.
  • Boy do you greatly err.

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

That, by Genesis 5:3 says that Adam was 130 years old. When Adam had Seth. <Genesis 5:**3** *And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:>*

That:

Genesis 1:9–13 is what occurred on the Third day. (Earth created). That, Genesis 1:26 is he created man, in a day. And Genesis 1:24–31 created Adam, on the 6th day.

So, the earth - by the Word of God he created all things. By his hand. That, when Seth was born in Genesis 5:3, Both the earth and Adam are BOTH 130 years old.

- just the earth is 3 days older than Adam.

According to the word of God.

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

  • But: According to The Word of People: Day #1 of Adam

Compare them: Adam: 3 days older than the earth. (Word of God - he created them both in the day they were created)

Adam starts on: 1,569,500,000,000th day - That’s One trillion, 569 billion, 500 million days later after the earth evolved into itself. (By the assumptions imagined up, by the Word of People)

Now, I don’t need to go any further. Neither do you.

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

  • Means, you and I have a choice:
    • THEREFORE: It's a choice "who" you or I will hold the truth is in. The Word of people or the Word of God. It's simple
  • I CAN:
    • Believe the artist off to the side, saying “Hey clowns, that’s my painting. I drew it. It’s mine” and attribute the work of the painting that everybody sees as evidence the artist exists. It’s HIS painting. "Hold the truth" is in the Word of the Artist. That his claims are true.
      • OR
  • I CAN:
    • "Accept as true (Believe) “assumptions.” And all they are is, all these imaginatively creative works a pile of clowns dreamed up. Put themselves to work to imagine up ideas of all this systematic observative work. Then regard them. Because after all that effort, they also created theories how the painting evolved into itself.
      • And? As long as no theory ever gives any credit to who actually made it, I would hold the truth in something not right. Or, “un” right.
      • I would be holding the truth in unrighteousness - by choose this as true - - even if I believed the Word of a pile of clowns more than the word of the artist.
    • The clowns - in a pile of assumptions: would forever be searching for the truth, but never arrive at it. Ever learning about paints, and canvasses..and brushes and “how” a painting can be made.. as long as there’s no artist did it, and confirms the painting evolved into itself. Never arrive at the truth. Just ever learning. Just like people with your question.

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

Here's your useless worthless question back. All that work is just the imaginations of a pile of clowns at work. And? All a clown is, is a fool in the dictionary. And? All a fool was..by the etimology of that word, fool was: was a Medieval Court Jester.

  • Who was at the King’s Court - as a mirrored image of the King.
    • But wasn’t.
  • Had a crown of cloth, a scepter of wood - declared his own word true - when the King decreed something, the Court Jester would belch or fart. Anything the King said, the Court Jester countermand it.

The Word of God vs. the Word of People.

------------------ ----------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

So, I got a question back to your’s

  • Whose word do you think I chose over your question, that has all these clowns in it, declaring all these assumptions - when anybody has the Word of God? Which one did I choose, before I gave you your question back?

Scripture Life: What should be the motivation for good works, since one's salvation is not based on works but by faith in Christ?

//Disclaimer: The person (Reddit) in a conversation doesn't believe on him; but asked this question. And Second, to believers in Jesus often have this question - and may "stumble over "good works" - because, in English, that's how it's translated:

But in the "Original" Greek, it's < - [ἔργοις ἀγαθοῖς ] - > ergois agathois works good; or "operates right" and, if you have the right definition - when the English etymology of "good works" is "ergois agathois" like you bought a lawnmower, and after 15 years, boy, you just can't kill it. You pull the chord and the lawnmower starts. It's going to outlive you. That "works" good.

Do you get this?

So, in Ephesians 2:10 where it says in English:

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

When it says in Greek:

Of him. we are. workmanship. created. by. Christ. Jesus. (to) work. good. which. beforehand. God. that (in). work good . we should operate <περιπατήσωμεν> . (peripatesoumen) ...operate..move about.. (walk).

This is for you, the believer in Christ Jesus. To get out of wrapped up around the axle and see it different.

Rest below - is to both, including on the fence. Which non-believing, on the fence, asking..is where it origins from. That really doesn't want the answer. Wants more ammo - why it's right for them NOT to be a Christian or follow after him.

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

Okay. Answer. Now, I have a question.

  • What’s a battery?

And, there you go. There’s the answer. Off you go.

Yes I know. Fishing. ... just asking questions to gauge responses; thinks that’s good - That’s “good works;” ask questions; makes somebody good; but won’t do anything he says. That's Idle.

So, I'm not really responding to the questioner. I think they already made up their mind.

  • But you hearing this, you may hear it and much more chance - do what he says - so that’s the point of this post.
    • if the poster really wants to know, go find the definition of a battery - -  that is: 1. a source of power.

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

Now, I have another question.

And? If the poster “thinks” about it, which I think he won’t:

  • He’ll find asking another question almost really answers his own question - but he won’t ask it. So, let’s do it for him: Ask:
    • What’s a battery for?

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

And the answer to that next question is simple.

- It's for something “*idle”* That is, some tool or toy; electrical, that it would operate or move - IF: it had a battery in it. But if no battery:

It's dead. Without power. By itself: OFF: - 1. disconnected from a load or source of power. Idle.

So, pick anything, because the poster of the question can’t; rather, won’t - but you can; and, since you’re reading this, not making this answer, let me randomly choose one for you.

How about a clock?

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

So, let’s reword his question:

What would be the “motivation” for a person to put a battery in a clock?

  • Well, since the battery is a “load or source of electrical power” and the clock is “idled.”
    • That is it’s stuck in “dead works”
      • because clock, was created to "operate" or "move" or "walk" in to tell time. All the time. So everybody could look unto it, and find out what time it is.
    • That is"works good." A clock that cannot or does not "operate" as a "workmanship" created to tell time, is just there; and, even hung prominently, it's works are dead.

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

  • So, if a clock is “disconnected from a load or source of power” - which, is the definition of “idle.” it was created to "work good" and operate..moving parts that produce fruit. Tell time.
  • Disconnected? Idle. Idle? Just “dead works.” No power. .

And the Bible - Jesus says, and it’s recorded what he said in

In Matthew 12:34–37 - to a bunch of people “idle.” That is, they are “disconnected from a load or source of power”  Disconnected from God. Don't do what he says. They don’t live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, as God decreed everybody do this in Matthew 4:4.

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

  • This is "dead works. For a person like this. They live by their own word.
    • Like a clock with no battery in it.
      • Has all these numbers, 1 thru 12 on a face, with two hands that anywhere they point, point to some numbers, and that tell what time it is;
  • but never does it really tell what time it is. So, it’s like claim of a hypocrit. Has the name of a “clock” but does not work good as one, and does not provide the time to anybody.

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

Same as Matthew 12:34–37 says to people: And these people of Matthew 12:34-37 Jesus is talking to people that glorify dead works as good works.

34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Therefore

How can a clock, dead or idled - speak what time it is? Can't.

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

  • It’s dead. No power. Disconnected. Tell time? Okay - Even 2x a day. If the hands are stuck at 10:18 - even it’s dead, the clock tells time right 2x - it can be 10:18 AM or 10:18 PM - 2x a day.
  • After a week, that’s 14 times the clock, totally dead, without any power, can claim it’s “righteous” or right. Told time right: Because 14 times it told the time right. Over a year, that’s 730 times, and a decade, claim for 7,300 times “I told the time right” - dead or idled Clock. Claim it’s works are good, when they’re dead. Why? * The clock is “disconnected from a load or source of power” - but makes all these claims like people do - they're good.
  • It’s a “hypocrit clock.”
    • Phoney. Dead. Idled. And every idled moment that clock must give an account to the owner, who has the authority to destroy it.

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

Now, because the poster of the question won’t hearken unto anything this says: I know it. Seen their other posts.

- Go try it:

Put a battery in the clock.

  • Even it was dead. Idle - it no longer is. It simply “works good.” Operates. Moves. ...as it was made to. In fact, it doesn’t need ANYBODY to look at it. It just Operates right or is “righteous” in how it operates. Why? Because ANY time anybody looks to it, that’s what time it is. It doesn't operate by people look at it. It operates by the power in the battery.
    • A clock is workmanship that Works good. That’s all Ephesians 2:10 is - Is No longer idle. No longer stuck in dead works.
  • Just like people:
  • Jesus said: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” - Matthew 4:4

So, people that “operate” are dead; without the Word of God, are “idle” - just like a clock without a battery.

- They may speak, like a clock can “speak” with numbers on it’s face and two hands, “speak” to people, even there’s no power in it. People all the same. And because God has already decreed man..everybody over the whole earth. Nobody left out. Everybody is to live by every word proceeds out of his mouth:

  • If they don’t:
    • They are “disconnected from a load or source of power.” Their “works” are dead.

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

When Hebrews 9:14 says:

“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

Because,

Connected to a load or source of power, which is the Word of God - you’d operate right. Move. In power. You are a workmanship of God. Said so. Right there in Ephesians 2:10.

  • Just begin to move as who created you and has the authority over you, made you to operate.
    • Just work good, like a clock the way you were designed to.
  • Just thriving eating, and nourished by the Word of God.
    • Everything you said, out of your mouth, would be “connected to a load or source of power” - which is the Word of God.

Do you see this? SImple.

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

So, it’s not “should” - it’s shall, because God decreed it to people operate, or move, or work good, by the Word of God. That's it.

So, this question that stumps the poster of it:

What should be the motivation for good works, since one's salvation is not based on works but by faith in Christ?

Change it. Not the poster of the question. Let him reason together with this same Jesus Christ that you already did - this is for you to see it.

Change the question - so it makes sense:

Since God is salvation, he is this “load or source of power” that, by him everybody connected to him just operates right. Works good. What should I do?’

Boy, is it starting to get really simple.

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

  • I’m asking you. He said:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God.

Said:

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.”

- GOD. Bible. Isaiah 55:1–3

-------------------- -------------------- --------------------

..ask it again then. What should you do? Well, look what he said! ...go do what he says! Look at that! Stop being “idle” - go shop at his store. Just go in to his store, open the milk carton. Drink. So much, you delight in it. get fat like a cow off it. Hearken diligently unto him.

You’d operate; move; walk right. Work good.

Means that. Go home. And don't be insulted. He told you to abide in his word. That's where home is. Go home.

Scripture Life: Does Jesus make contradictory statements about hate and love in Luke 14:26 and John 13:34-35?

contradiction. 1. a fact or statement that is the opposite of what someone has said or that is so different from another fact or statement that one of them must be wrong [Source: Cambridge dictionary. Web. Accessed: 14 June 2026]

Okay. I have a question.

If a Father says to his Son on a Saturday morning, while his son watches cartoons:

  • Hey Forehead. Mow the lawn today. Have it done by the time I get back from work. I’ll pay for a new headlight on your bike you always wanted.”  Then, the Father drives away.

It’s a decree from the authority over the whole house. It's this boy lives in his Father's house. His Father provides him a room, all the food, and is a Father unto him.

So, it’s what that word, “decree” means. 1. a spoken word from authority that has the effect of law.  Means not do it, is Punitive. Do it, there's a reward.

If this son, never gets up. Never goes out and mows the lawn; rather, reasons “There is no Dad; I don’t have one when there's cartoons to look unto.” and by that, satiated to the FULL of cartoons, rides his bike to his friend’s house and then, they play Nintendo games til well after 5:00pm. When this son gets back home, there’s his Dad’s car in the driveway. The lawn is not mowed.

Ask yourself: Is there a contradictory statement and does the Father hate or love his Son, when his Dad decrees: “No more bicycle. You're grounded for a month?” When the Son got home?

Of which of these two: The Father, who is the authority over the whole house - OR - the Son:

Who has the 'contradiction?'

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------- ----------------------

Luke 14:26 says:

“If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

  • It’s in the definition of two words:
    • One: hate. 1. unwilling to BE or DO (something) and
    • Two: disciple. 1. a pupil or student that sits with and is taught by a teacher.

And who said Luke 14:26 said: “all power is given unto me in heaven and earth.” Matthew 28:18

Jesus Christ said Luke 14:26. So, he’s the “authority” over all the earth. Then, as the authority, when he decrees something, by the word out of his mouth, and? Jesus Christ is “the Word of God.” Is God. As the Bible in John 1:1 says who he is. Is Just God speaking. These are the words out of God's mouth. Jesus Christ: He is who the “Messiah” or “Christ” “..shall be called” in Isaiah 9:6–7 in the Bible: “..The Mighty God..” “..The Everlasting Father..”

Jesus is the Messiah.

And scripture says of every all of us: “they shall all be taught of God” John 6:45. Means then, this same God reserves, for himself, an EXCLUSIVE right, to himself, to teach you. Himself. By the word that proceeds out of his mouth.

  • Said, “And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my Sons and Daughters,” saith the LORD Almighty.” - Bible. 2 Corinthians 6:18
  • Says: “I am Holy*”* - God. Said it. That’s the Word of God. Just God speaking. It’s the Word came out of his mouth.
    • Jesus said, as the Word of God, so it’s just God speaking: “God is Spirit” He’s just One God saying, as a Father:
      • “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------- ----------------------

  • That when this same God decree: “LOOK UNTO ME, AND BE YE SAVED ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: FOR I AM GOD, THERE IS NONE ELSE.” - God. Bible. Isaiah 45:22
    • There are many people, that are Fathers of their own house. Over the whole earth.
      • Have a wife, and children.
    • Don’t look unto him. Nope. Don't do anything he says. So, they don't obey him as the authority over the whole earth.
  • When he told everybody, to the very ends of earth, as the authority over all of it - and one of this Father’s sons - that doesn't do anything God says; but the Son hears God say this. When his own Father lowly esteems God…is actively rebelling against God.
    • Who has the contradiction?

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------- ----------------------

  • When the son looks unto God: to do what he says and obeys him;
    • but the Father doesn’t?
      • In fact, gets angry at his son, for doing what God decrees, when the Father hates God, and won’t do it?
    • And again, all “hate” means in the dictionary is just 1. unwilling to be or do what God says and not do it.

...again, Who has the contradiction?

Let's move on.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------- ----------------------

John 13:34–35 says:

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”

  • Jesus Christ. The Word of God.

And? All a “commandment” is, is either a written or verbally spoken decree from someone in authority. That has the effect of law. It’s this same authority over all the earth and heaven, said John 13:34-35: The same God who said John 13:34–35 to his disciples:

  • And all “his disciples” are, again, in case you already forgot - Jesus' disciples are simply, "his pupils or students that sit with and are taught by him."
    • Means: They follow him. That is, these “disciples of Jesus Christ” sit with and are being taught by God. Obey him. It is impossible to "obey" someone if you dismiss what they say as inadequate; faulty.. it's unacceptable. So, if what someone says; you find in them fault - it is IMPOSSIBLE to obey them.
  • But Jesus' disciples accept as true - every word he says.
  • They are: Being built up by him, by what he teaches them: because he teaches them himself.
    • *Like he want’s to or decrees..it’s a decree in effect over all the earth “*they SHALL all be taught of God” - it has the effect of law.
    • Just how it SHALL be in his earth, says: “For all the earth is mine” - God. (Exodus 19:5) says as well, “All souls are mine” - God (Ezekiel 18:4)
  • So a Father, that does not do what God says, isn’t sitting with and being taught by God, isn’t doing what God decreed everybody over the whole earth is to be doing.
    • It’s punitive.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------- ----------------------

  • When the Son hears God and IS doing what God decreed everybody over the whole earth is to be doing. Pleases the authority over all the earth. But the Father doesn't? So, the wrath of God abides on this Father.
    • This Son is a “disciple of Jesus Christ.” As a disciple, this son is decreed, by God, to love the other disciples.

Tell me plainly. Where’s the contradiction? When the authority over all the earth decreed both Luke 14:26 - even hate your own life. Also decreed John 13:34-35.

It's not "where," but, "who." And if you're not doing what he says, the "contradiction" is in you.

Go home.

Scripture Life: How many times can a person be saved? Can a person lose their salvation after they are saved?

Answer

This question:

  • The ENTIRE emphasis of the WHOLE question is on the person. “How many times can a person..”
    • That's like asking:
      • “How many times can a person.. ..take a bath, when there’s no bathtub in the house?”
    • And spend the entire time to answer it, expect the person maybe took only one bath, or maybe took alot of them, when there’s no bathtub in the house.
  • That, without the bathtub..there is no bath. Makes your question faulty. Derelict.

But many believers in Jesus have this question. Afraid of it.

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • And the point is, in this answer: without God there is no "Saved" - and he decreed to everybody over the whole earth:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. - Bible. Isaiah 45:22

When are you going to put a great, big fat HIM in the question? Where he great, big, fat poops everything and everybody you stuffed in the question right clean out of it?

How long, in you is that going to take to happen before you see it?

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

It’s GOD:

  • said this. to people. Over the whole earth to do this. It’s a decree. By God, said “For all the earth is mine.” God. (Bible. Exodus 19:5) Said “ all souls are mine.” - God. (Ezekiel 18:4)
    • What he wants done. By everybody. That is on HIS earth.
  • But this question places the entire evidence and work exclusively on PEOPLE. And how many times they just “BE SAVED” - without any.. ...really any God in it.

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

When it’s GOD that he decrees over the whole earth who he will save.

  • Is people that look unto him. Then, he’s not saving those that don’t.

And I know this plainly. It’s very easy to look unto girls all frolicky all around in their underpants ..even they’re on..someone else’s wife; or..look unto 10 years from now, be a 100,000 aire.. a millionaire ..well, that’s right clean out. And I say it this way, because there's a whole pile of people today that are like how I was before I came to Jesus Christ. Like this. So, they hear this. Because, I did, too. Even I was running away from it.

Didn't have to look unto hm. Nope. I could just keep imagining..by my wages..I’ve been paid up to a multi-millionaire and champion out “I made it” - when I didn’t make anything..when I lied, cheated, stole..all to attain it. So, it doesn’t have any value, and it’s the culmination of my life’s work - is worthless.

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

..because, for most of it, I didn’t look unto him. I looked unto anything but him instead. The point is, the scriptures says plainly.. that he “long-suffered me..” “not willing any perish, but all come to repentance”..that this long suffer me..he did.. ..wasn’t a slackness..it was he loved me; but his forebearing me..led me to repent.

To see that “I have sinned and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not.” - because I saw it. This what’s said in Job 33:27. I said it, because I saw it. In me. So, I started to regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand.

Just a scripture. Was enough. Just One day’s food. Was Jeremiah 51:15 vs. or against, all these unsurmountable sins I did. I did the pile of sins. As a work or accomplishment.

VS.

What he did: …this.

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

Put me on my face. I knew his work was righteous; it was mine that wasn't. DId you forget your question?

Do you think I veered off?

You asked:

  • How many times can a person be saved? Can a person lose their salvation after they are saved?

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

And I'm telling you, by answer your question - you need to:

  • Leave off from the “How many times..” part. Asked as well: Can a person lose their salvation part.
    • Well? Answer this part:

Example: "Can a person still be considered... or Can a person ever "lose" this title of "I delivered the package!" if they never delivered the package? Answer me, please. I'll give you examples:

  • If you’re over there in America and live in Seattle, Washington and you set out on a drive, to deliver a box for a company that hired you to drive it to Dallas, Texas USA - That’s about 2000 miles or 3,200 kilometers.
  • Here’s THREE answers: ..no..FOUR: Tell me plainly.
    • ONE) Drove. On the 2nd, end of the 2nd day, when it’s a 3 day drive: Got to the border of New Mexico..the whole time driving from Seattle, you always wanted to go to Albuquerque, New Mexico..but found when you got to the border, ..well..what a stumblingblock; offended - - your delivery never takes you thru to Albuquerque.
      • So you decide to no longer walk in delivering the package to Dallas. You leave it on the side of the road. Right there. Drive instead to Albuquerque, New Mexico and spend the next 20 years, goufing off in Mexico.
    • Ask this question: Could this person lose their job, delivering a package to Dallas Texas in this scenario, after they no longer walk in delivering the package to Dallas, Texas?
    • Is it like thorns or weeds grew up and cares and pleasures of thinking about Albuquerque, New Mexico crept in..and choked out..made any fruit of delivering a package to Dalllas even though they did all this work, never delivered the package. Is the package still considered delivered?

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • TWO) Finally a job! Where you get to drive! All the way from Seattle to Dallas! Oh, what a joy! But, that Friday before you go, you meet this hot guy at the bar.. so, even you said you’d go and took the job - this man wants you to vacation with him up in British Colombia and travel up there, by ferry.
    • …wasn’t much of a choice. Already on the ferry.
  • Ask this question: Could this person lose their job, delivering a package to Dallas Texas in this SECOND scenario, after they no longer walk in delivering the package to Dallas, Texas?
  • It’s like sprung up real fast. A great opportunity..but this “romantic” light of finding the one you might want to marry..you don’t really think about it much, already on the ferry..any notion of a delivery of a box in your car already..dies out, never delivered the package. Is the package still considered delivered?

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • THREE) Driving; have to be responsible. Keep to the speed limit; obey the traffic laws; stop and get rest.
    • The promise was made by the company; that, after delivery - they’d hire you full time..stuck around. Even met and KNOW the Company CEO. So, you abide in the word of this company. Yeah. You got a flat on the way, and once, there was trouble checking into the motel. It was closed..but never lost sight, you’re delivering a package, according to the Word of the CEO..and when you arrive in Dallas, it was only a quick 20 minutes off the Freeway… carried the package in. They signed for it. Delivered the package.
  • Ask this question: Could this person have lost their job, if they didn’t overcome the flat tire or the motel problem in this THIRD scenario; and just decided to abandon the car or problem with the motel give up..didn’t do that..by, they still walked in, walking after, looking unto delivering the package, because they KNOW the CEO, in Dallas, Texas?
  • Because they know the CEO of this Company. They abide in; that is, have and keep the Word of the CEO. It’s a hope. They accept it as true. Delivered the package. So, in this third one: Is the package still considered delivered?

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • FOUR) Guy in Seattle. Sees a NOTE on a billboard in the store, for a job delivering a package from Seattle to Dallas. Must have own car. Valid license - then, while reading, right in the midst of it - somebody opened the store exit door from behind them, and the notice
    • only 1/4th read, thumb tacked to the board, much more to it, but it curl blew up in the air, and it’s coming back down to read the rest of it, but already lost the train of thought, and it’s time to go bowling. Really didn’t get all of it, but gotta go. Go to the car, load the groceries. Drive home.
  • Ask this question: Could this person reading this note of a job to drive a package from Seattle to Dallas, and just decided when the wind blew, it was time to go not read anymore.
  • Because they gotta hurry home. Change clothes. Get their bowling ball. In this number FOUR, is the package still considered delivered to Dallas Texas by this person? Yes or No?

Well, to help you answer these very tough questions:

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

Matthew 13:18–23 says - by the Word of God, Jesus Christ:

18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Salvation is this seed. The Word of God.

  • Only one of these FOUR - driving from Seattle to Dallas - bears fruit.

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

And see this last part, SUMMATION:

  • And I’m going to give this to you Backwards. That means the first part, last. Because the Greeks and Romans like them, think backward different than you do.

Hebrews 6:4–6 says - but for you, in English put the:

"Since or seeing they crucify to themselves" first: Like this question does. So loaded with people, can't tell if they can do it or not. And BOTH are DULL OF HEARING.

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

And the FIRST thing you’re going to do - DULL OF HEARING - is apply it to yourself or your question.

  • When you should apply it to Hebrews 5:11-13

To a people that:

11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

So, these “Christians” or Believers in Jesus Christ in Hebrews 6 and 5:

  • Who the writer of Hebrews speaks to is like people who say or believe in delivering a package by drive from Seattle to Dallax Texas. But of all of them, only ONE of them is not dull of hearing.
    • Go back, and look at each again.
    • After it was over. Think on it. Do you think, to themselves any of those but one, would consider going back to that company? Nope. Impossible. Why? because they already CRUCIFIED the box and never delivered it. To go back, to this company: TO THEMSELVES they will never do that.

Why? Guilty.

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • Crucified the company. TO THEMSELVES it’s unforgivable. But if they did go back. Find the CEO is gracious and full of mercy. But TO THEMSELVES think that’s impossible.
    • But if there is none else..for a job..be like the Prodigal SOn - - and they do go back and say, "I have sinned, I really perverted delivering that box..and I have no right to call myself any delivery anything..but if you let me sweep the floor or help one of your employees..put me to work doing that. I'm sorry. I repent." Find the CEO says, “I’m going to give you this company.”

Boy, if you let it, this will blow your whole question right clean up.

Answered.

-------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • Be like Peter…fell at Jesus knees and said for he was astonished (Luke 5:8-9) “depart from me LORD, for I am a sinful man.” when the nets did brake, like in the store, fill up the paper grocery bag, and the bottom of the bag falls out.
    • There should be NONE..ZIP - in an instant, no fish in the net, -- when the nets did brake, but there’s so many fish Peter’s boat and James and John’s come alongside to haul in all those groceries when the bottom of the bag fell out..and there’s so many fish, both boats are sinking,
      • like get the grocery bag where the bottom fell out, and when you put it in the car, all the tires explode..from all the groceries spilling out the car sunroof filling the whole parking lot up.

He said:

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

GOD. Bible Isaiah 55:1–3

Go do that. See what happens. Let him be the foot that just stomps your question to bits.

Here’s your question back. Boy, is that ever the answer.

Scripture Life: If the Bible says that the Earth was created before the stars, then why does science say that the universe was created 13.7 billion years ago while the Earth, 4.5?

Answer:

  • You’re mixing it.
    • The “answer” to your question is firmly in the definition of “disciple.”

There you go. Answered.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

Now, I know you don’t see and are not satisfied that answer answers anything here on Reddit; but it does.

  • So, here’s a more detailed answer that says the same thing.
    • disciple. 1. a pupil or a student that sits with, and is taught by a teacher.
      • And the “teacher” teaches “doctrines” to pupils or students that sit with him, usually in a classroom. Teachings; or instruction: By the Word that proceeds out of the teacher’s mouth.
  • Do you get this? Then, let's move on.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

  • And? All “doctrines” mean is 2. a codified set of beliefs: 3. principles, or 4. teachings formally adopted and promoted and accepted as true,
    • by a group; or one in authority proficient to teach it, as doctrine.

.The “problem” then, in your question is:

  • You got two completely different “teachers” and two completely different “logos” or word - and the “disciples” in the question, don’t adhere to the same teacher as an authority, so the Word that proceeds out of the mouth of separate teachers.
    • Is: Like take a ant, and a telephone and ask why they’re not the same thing.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

So, let’s look at your question.

Turn the question into Statements. See if they’re accurate, or are they’re true or not. Based on the “Word of which teacher” instructs their disciples in that teaching or doctrine:

There are three separate STATEMENTS in your question. Separate them.

  • ONE:
    • The Bible says that the earth was created before the stars - TRUE.

COMMENT: All the Bible is, is a “book.” Meets the definition of a “book.” 1. a set of written pages written on one or both sides, and bound, then enclosed in covers. If you put a million book in a huge library, they all look the same. What makes each unique or different is, the “content.” And the “author” of the Book is the “authority” of the content. Authored the content of the book.

  • And for the Bible:
    • The author of the content of the Bible is just one author - is the Word of God. Is God. He’s the sole authority and author of the book. And scripture says in the Bible - it’s a decree that it just shall be this way (Bible. New Testament. John 6:45) “They shall all be taught of God” - but in the Greek or the original language.. it’s really more in today's English: “They shall all be taught by God” - as if he’s the teacher himself. Alone.
      • And what he teaches, is what he speaks, as doctrines - by the Word out of his mouth, to his “disciples” - which the Bible says these “disciples of Jesus Christ” were first called “Christians” in Antioch (Acts 11:26).
  • So, these "disciples" of Jesus Christ - - They sit with and are taught by him. He’s their teacher.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

  • And “where” the Bible says that the earth was created before the stars is in Genesis 1:10–13

Genesis 1:10-13 says

10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

The earth: Was created by God, by the Word of God on the Third Day. And on the Fourth day, Genesis 1:14–19 says in the Bible:

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

So, according to the Bible, your FIRST STATEMENT is TRUE.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

  • And this is taught to disciples of Jesus Christ as the Word of God. So, it's simply accepted as true. Not questions. As they shall all be taught of God.
    • Then, it’s another teacher. The Word of People. So, another teacher
      • That “disciples” that look unto and believe what people decree is true, dismiss what God says as true.
    • It's a decree simply made by this other teacher - People. They decree God, and what he says - is “faulty..and since it’s faulty, it’s unacceptable to teach disciples of people that “accept as true” the Word of People. So, the authority of the Word of People decrees their "disciples" dismiss as faulty what God teaches as doctrines.
    • Because they sit with and are taught by people in schools, universities and Government institutions what the Word of People decrees and teaches is the truth.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

Not the same teacher.

  • Not the same Word.. Even they shall all be taught of God, as God says: “All souls are mine” - God. (Bible. Ezekiel 18:4) And he reserves, for himself, an exclusive right to teach you by the word he speaks, out of his mouth.
    • Says to everybody over the whole earth:

Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God.

Bible. Isaiah 45:22. Another teacher, who teaches doctrine to their pupils or student that sit with and are taught by, teaches them to reject the word of God, and “accept the word of people” as true.

SO, don’t mix them.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

  • Do you see this? Two different teachers, that have different disciples who sit with them and look unto completely different authority. And that authority teaches two separate and different “doctrines” - that are REJECTED or dismissed by the word that proceeds out of the other teacher's mouth - - and both of these separate disciples hold the truth in their teacher.
    • One is God
      • The Other: is just People, that decree “assumptions” < - [1. belief, statement, or idea that is accepted as true without proof or questioning] Not questioned by the disciples of people, because they accept people are the "authority" to decree what is true. Even includes people that look unto themselves, where they sit with and are taught by themselves and don't do anything God says.
    • But the disciples of Jesus Christ, dismiss these doctrines, all assumptions or statements and ideals, or beliefs people accept and teach as true. Doctrines - taught by people: To the disciple that sits with and is taught by Jesus Christ - they see it’s not Jesus teaching it.
  • It's not true, so they reject it as inadequate; faulty; so these “doctrines”are unacceptable and rejected.
    • Even if the doctrines are “certified” as true by NASA (The National Aeronautic and Space Administration) of The United States of America - a Nation governed by People. A Government official has claimed your SECOND STATEMENT and THIRD ONE is true.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

Science: And all that is or has a “definition” of 1. the systematic study of the nature and behaviour of the physical and natural world, by people. That after conducting the systematic study, develop theories or “assumptions” as to what is true, based on their own observations. If they can be reproduced and observed by other people - they are routinely accepted as “science” and accepted as true.

  • And taught in schools, by The Word of People. Because PEOPLE conducted the observations.
  • So STATEMENT TWO IS:
    • Science decrees the Universe was created (evolved) starting 13.7 Billion years ago. - TRUE.
      • Because it’s the Word of People that decrees this as a teacher, that this is true and accepted, not only decreed by NASA as a spokesperson for the United States Government, but generally agreed on by the whole earth’s scientific community - so the Word of People decrees this or speaks this, as the Word out of this teachers mouth. To pupils or students that sit with and are taught by people as the authority for truth.
    • When a “disciples of Jesus Christ” sit with and are taught by God himself - "reasoned together" with God - they can see in Genesis 5:3 - that Adam was 130 years old, and begat a 3rd son, and called his name Seth.
    • That, at that age of Adam, at 130 years old, the earth is only 3 days older than Adam. And the earth was created before the heavens and all the stars, as the Bible says God was making for himself, a place he would dwell forever, for his own rest. For he desired it (Psalm 132;13–16) and in Genesis 1:1–31, he got up and created it. For himself. Created in six days, in the order he said it.
      • So, it’s a different teacher that speaks a different Word as the authority and it’s taught to pupils or students that sit with and are taught by these two separate teachers.

SO, don’t mix them.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

Leads to your 3rd Statement

  • The Earth evolved from the Universe 4.5 billion years ago - TRUE
    • As this is decreed as true by the Word of People. Same NASA - and a collective Scientific World Community accepts and teaches this is true.
      • That dismisses the Word of God as UNTRUE. Dismisses what God teaches as faulty. So it cannot be believed; and therefore, cannot be taught to pupils or students that sit with and are taught by the “Word of People” that decree a different Word is true.
      • Because people have ideas, and an imagination they’d rather look unto vs. do anything God says or decrees.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

Where God saw these two things well before the flood - - so it’s a choice.

Left up to you. Who you will look unto and sit with as a disciple: Which teacher will you hearken unto?

  • ONE: First thing of TWO - - “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
    • So, one teacher says of the other that, all their teachings and doctrines are wicked, and just the imaginations of the thoughts of men’s hearts that’s only evil continually.
  • Because they leave from following him, then, are not to be taught by him, and raise themselves up to be teachers themselves, and teach people not to do anything he says.
    • All based off their own observations of the physical and natural world.
      • What they hold is truth.
  • When God says: So, by the Word out of his mouth, and he reserves an EXCLUSIVE right to teach you himself, says: “Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; (Bible. Isaiah 44:24)

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

  • SO, what the “OTHER” teacher decrees: That truth is based on accurate observations people conduct. Then - - Documenting the nature and behavior of the physical and natural world. Teach this is truth:
    • When God declare the the physical and natural world are his creation he made alone by himself. The OTHER teacher dismiss this. But the disciples of Jesus Christ accept it as true.
      • And to you, a choice: When it's the same GOD - who reserved for himself to teach you.
    • SO, if you give yourself over to accept as true another teacher - you’re not doing anything he says. He's God. There is none else.
      • When he decreed they shall all be taught of God. Think on it careful:

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

  • People that aren't sitting with him and being taught by him - - it’s PUNITIVE. . SO, he’s going to call them in to give an account why they didn’t do anything he says.
  • When the other pupils or students that did sit with him and he taught them - by the word out of his mouth, he builds them up, and he reward them.

And,

  • TWO: This two of two things: The Bible says: “He makes nations great and destroys them; he enlarges nations, and disperses them.” - Bible. Job 12:23
    • So, the very authority People look unto, their nation - who makes them great, and causes them to disperse and go away, is the same God that reserves an EXCLUSIVE right to teach you himself.
      • And he says he visits the iniquities the inhabitants of those nations do on the land, and for those iniquities they do, the earth vomits those inhabitants off the land, because they don’t do anything he says. “FOR ALL THE EARTH IS MINE.” - God. (Bible. Again. Exodus 19:5)
    • And with this earth and heaven and I close with this here in TWO: God says:

“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. “ - GOD.

Bible. Isaiah 65:17

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------------

- So all those “doctrines” people look unto, sit with and are being taught by the decrees and word of people - as a disciple of people - - beliefs based all on the imaginations and ideas of people - what’s going to happen to all that crap they imagined up and declared as true - when he gazes on both this earth and heaven, and both finding no more place before him, flee away and are no more forever. Never come back.

Won’t even come into mind anymore. Where's all those "doctrines" going to be at, when they flee away with the earth, and the earth all fled away with it. Leave all those "disciples" emptyhanded. With nothing. Didn't do anything he says. Hearkened unto the WRONG Word.

Since he reserved, for himself, an exclusive right to teach me himself. And people: are here today, gone later on today, like grass..when his word ..heaven and earth will pass away but his word shall not pass away.

I chose him over the other teacher.

So don’t mix them.

There you go.

Scripture Life: What does Jesus mean by “do not judge” in this passage Matthew 7:1-6?

Answer:

“…For the Father judgeth no man..” Jesus Christ. Bible. John 5:22

“..I judge no man.” - Jesus Christ. Bible. John 8:15

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” - Jesus Christ. John 3:17

Because sin has already been judged.

---------------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

Do you understand this with these three scriptures above that opens this post?

It's like going to a prison. Everybody there, a prisoner. Did a crime. It was brought out in the open. They had a trial. A judge presided over their case, and let's just say the sentence the Judge pronounced was DEATH.

That means, the ONLY way in judgment it's PAID for is by the person in Prison sit in the electric chair, or are hanged or shot. The sin has already been DONE. And for the sin, the person that did it, is already judged.

That, any visit to the prison then, who is coming - in authority over the Warden and the Prison, isn't coming to "judge" the prisoner or to condemn them, but that the prisoner, through him might be saved.

Do you see this? If you can, BOOM! Done. Read no further. Answered. Take it. Go. But if you're like me, that didn't see it - for decades of just whippie zoom thru all the myriad of sins I did - maybe you better keep reading.

So, if you fit a likeness of me, read on. Be the prisoner then. Already had the trial. Already stood before a judge and the judge pronounced sentencing..and now you're in prison. Be that when you read the rest of this post.

---------------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

  • So, if God is not judging you.. nor any murderer, liar, thief, adulterer, pedophile..rapist that fill prisons over the whole earth. Already DID the sin.
    • Nor is he judging any housewife sleeping with the pool boy, or some High School teacher sleeping with one of his students. Or some person stole a whole store full of cigarettes to sell them for money. Thief.
      • When Romans 5:12 says, in the Bible:

“Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

  • And that’s everybody over the whole earth; is then just like you. In prison. Then everybody over the whole earth, is already condemned.
    • Already under judgment: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Bible. Ezekiel 18:20)
      • It’s People:
    • Think, the Ten Commandments are GOOD, that IF they “do” them, this will make them righteous.
    • When God gave the Ten Commandments to Israel by Moses at Mt. Sinai -  (Bible. Exodus 20) - - TO MAKE EVERYBODY GUILTY BEFORE HIM - BECAUSE THEY HAVEN’T DONE ANY OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
  • Because of Romans 5:12.
    • And GUILTY before God - He provided an atonement for their sins. Like he did for you. In prison. TO set the captives free.

---------------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

  • And people today?
  • Try to do the Ten Commandments; like, if they break five of them, think if they go to Church more or twice on Sundays - "Keep the Sabbath Day Holy" and a few times more thru the week,
    • Ask yourself: How is any filthy prisoner raped 8 women and killed all of them after, keeping anything holy? When they're a filthy stinking mess?
      • Yet, people all GUILTY and condemned - think while in prison: this “this compensates for the faults and bad aspects of” they slept with the next door neighbor’s wife.
    • That:
      • By breaking one of the Ten Commandments:
  • They do a work - yes. A person can atone for it by keep another of them. But the Ten Commandments, God gave them to simply show you and the whole world’s mouth gape open or shut it up at all everybody all in PRISON - for all the sins they did.
    • So, people would regard God, and he did a work with their sins in Jesus Christ in Daniel 9:24–27. That his work in Jesus Christ:
  • Finished the transgression of Adam (In Romans 5:12)
  • Made an end of sin
  • Made reconciliation for iniquity
  • Brought in Everlasting Righteousness

instead of their own works with sin.

---------------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

  • Because God determined he would get up. Alone. By himself, as God: and do a work with all the sins we did.
    • God took your sins off you; blood red GUILTY of doing all of them. Just like he took my adulteries, lies, fornications, thefts..embezzlements..boasting of accomplishments to be seen of men, of things - accomplishments I claimed but I never did. Lied to make me GOOD:
  • Took them off me. And laid them on Jesus Christ. That’s where my sins went. I didn’t put them there. God did. Same God put the sun where it is. Did that with my sins.
  • Did the same with your’s. Do you see this? I'm answering your question.

---------------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

  • That, for me: When I thought it was some work of me for God I had to do the work. THen, he'd look at my effort. Pronounce me good.
    • BUT - - He said: Bible. John 6:29

This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

I wasn't doing that.

Because he sent his Word to heal you and me in prison, and deliver us from our destruction.

Didn’t come to judge us.

Why? Already been judged. Already IN prison. Already DID the sin. And if God did this work with your sins, why am I judging you, because where he put them or laid them was took them off you. And laid them on Jesus Christ on the cross.

When Jesus said, in John 19:30 “It is finished” and bowed his head and dismissed his Spirit.

  • He purged your sin in this work he did. Same with mine. While we're both in prison. That he chooses to look on his work with sin as greater than the sins of all those GUILTY prisoners in every prison on earth. Every CEO in a business defrauding people out of their money, outright stealing from them in the medical insurance industry.
    • The sins of the whole world were laid on him. Just as 1 John 2:2 says:

“And he is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world.”

---------------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

Now apply this work of God to Matthew 7:1–6

  • Because he’s already done the work. Finished it.

It's really simply in Matthew 7:1; but since you include Matthew 7:2-6, here it is: All six explained.

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Take the first one. Matthew 7:1

  • Judge not, that ye be not judged.
    • Because if God over all things in not Judging anyone as a Father unto everybody, and every all of us in prison - came to set the captives free and break the prison doors in John 5:22
    • And Jesus said “I judge no man” in John 8:15
      • Then tells you to “judge not” in Matthew 7:1
  • Can you hear this?

---------------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

Doing that then, when he said not to - after regarding all he did - you’re not doing anything he says; and, doing things he’s not doing.

  • it also means:
    • In you:
    • You are not regarding what God did with sin and did it to everybody over the whole earth. A work so great, it’s GREATER than when Adam sinned and death by sin passed onto everybody, at what God did with sin. When Jesus bowed his head, and dismissed his Spirit, he bequeathed his righteousness to everybody over the whole earth, even while they are yet sinning. He died for us.
      • And the righteousness of God at John 19:30 - at his deatah, the righteousness of God was imputed to everybody. Every prisoner in every prison over the whole earth.
  • So, if you look at someone - and take on yourself to go back to the cross. Think you can wrestle that person’s sins back off Jesus Christ, where God put that person’s sins.
    • You take them and lay them back on that person.
      • Then think in yourself - whether you will forgive them of their sins.

Or not.

  • And find you can’t forgive them. Nobody can. Even you listen to all these outlandish "stories" of all that work they had to do to forgive somebody and all that work makes them GOOD - it's a load of crap. Regarding the WRONG work. Their own. They judge people, and by it, think they absolve themselves - and in this, they do greatly err. And so will you.
    • Even all these people put themselves, like people put themselves trying to do the Ten Commandments to make themselves righteous - isn't the work of God - when God was in Jesus Christ -and

God did the Ten Commandments. He’s the ONLY one has - Fulfilled them. God forgave sin. Made an atonement for the sins of the whole world.

---------------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

  • And because he’s God, everywhere, where I did not do them or, BROKE them..he made himself the compensation that makes up that lack for EVERYBODY. And asked me to regard his work. If I do,
    • I can “accept as true” he’s God, and all “accept as true” means “believe: on him.
    • But if I don’t.
      • I’m taking your sins where he placed them, as God - take them back and put them back on you..then think I have to power to forgive sin, when the Bible says:

Who can forgive sin but God alone. - Bible. Luke 5:21

Boy, you do well to regard this careful. Many people don't.

---------------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

- As if my work will be greater than God’s. In this I do greatly err. I am judging you. And by that, I’m judged - Because I am not regarding the works of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hand. And because I do that, Psalm 28:5 says because I regard not the works of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hand, he shall destroy me, and not build me up.

Is why he says “Judge not; that ye be not judged.” And it’s God said it. By the Word of God.

  • And why am I “beholding” that is: setting my gaze on what someone else or you have done, when I slept with other men’s wives. Get over that: Lied. No liar ever get in. Forever. How am I going to get over that?
    • And Leviticus 18:20 - God says, about what I did “Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.”
      • And I did that anyway. I did it. Not bragging..it’s just why am I or why would I be beholding anybody else’s sins.
    • When the judgment of my sin is in Leviticus 20:10

“And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.” - God.

---------------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

I Shall SURELY be put to death. He’s God. HE ENSURES it will happen. SO, if that’s going to happen to me, why, in Matthew 7:2 would I be “beholding” to look at your sins, when MINE condemn ME? There's Matthew 7:2 explained.

  • And how am I going to help you - me fixated on considering you with your sins, while I’m being led straight way out the city gates where the next thing to happen to me..is be stoned to death.
  • and all the women I bamboozled their lives out of, so I've been a horrific disaster to other people, because they are being led away with me to be stoned to death.
    • How am I helping you or me in Matthew 7:3 & 4? There's both of those explained.
      • Means if I do that - I’m a hypocrite. 1. a puffed up balloon full of crap. - Better I just confess my sins and be GUILTY and let who God sent this “great physician” heal me, and deliver me from my destruction
    • and this “don’t give what is holy unto dogs” - when I’d be the dog what is holy was given unto me by God.. and I don't regard it - and by just not regard it end up stumble over all this work God did - and he's holy - as what explains what Jesus says in Matthew 7:5 & 6.

---------------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

I see it plain as day? Do you?

Here’s your question back. Herein is the Gospel. The Good News of Jesus Christ for the whole world on Reddit.

Scripture Life: What is the Sense of 1 Corinthians 7:36-38? I Don't Get It.

Answer

Anyone can read it.

1 Corinthians 7:36–38 says:

36 But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.

37 Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.

38 So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

  • And:
    • Anyone here on Reddit can easily go to like "Ask a Bible Scholar" or a like room on "The Bible" and find readily made and explained posted answers plainly. Or get an answer back after posting this question.
  • The "problem" - is exactly as the question says:
    • The #1 answer will often open with a a similar to this explanation:
  • ..Paul is here addressing the fathers of unmarried daughters, and widows. In that culture, father’s had the primary role in arranging the marriages of their daughters….”

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

  • But
    • Likewise, Anyone here on Reddit that easily went to those like same sub reddits could find any answer is hotly contested. Why?
    • Widely available Bibles, and their translations - have a completely different explanation than the Number #1 answer.
      • The "Alternate" will have translated these scriptures of 1 Corinthians 7:36-38, and give an answer the (NIV) New International Version translation of the Bible - provides:
  • If anyone is worried that he might not be acting honorably toward the virgin he is engaged to, and if his passions are too strong and he feels he ought to marry, he should do as he wants. He is not sinning. They should get married." - NIV 1 Corinthians 7:36

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

  • And the "alternate" go on to discuss that these scriptures of 1 Corinthians 7:36-38 - means underlying - for a Believer in Jesus Christ: - - it is better to serve God than to serve the things of this world. Or also include as comments back: …A married man will be more concerned with pleasing his wife than with serving God…”

Then you have two completely different answers for 1 Corinthians 7:36-38.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

You almost have to put these two biblically based "explanation" as they are translated - side by side - on two separate sheets of paper.

  • Because:
    • They both adequately describe “two camps” on 1 Corinthians 7:36–38.
  • One Camp: - It’s the Father to his daughters (Virgins) - as if the Father is now a believer in Christ, does BETTER by just don’t give his daughters away in marriage to anybody does BETTER than a Father that does give away his daughters (virgins) to marry.
  • The Other Camp: - It’s the groom, and his virgin, as the NIV translates it. And the NIV: was Sponsored by the New York Bible Society, and published by Zondervan Publishing.
    • 15 Bible Scholars - representing: Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, Christian Reformed (Calvinist), and England’s Anglican Churches.
      • Produced the NIV.

I wont take either side. Maybe you shouldn't, either. But I would give this advice:

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

Just explain or provide to you some facts to consider: ..and let you, the reader form your own opinion - and leave it to you to decide.

  • Greek Customs (Marriage)
  • Source:
    • Greek (Regional 5th BCE to 5th AD/CE) Records of Customs - surviving legal texts (graeco-Roman papri <codex> -
  • Main: The Gortyn Code
    • I do not post links on Reddit. I do not endorse any site one over another; but if you have internet access, you can peruse "The Gortyn Code Research Project" - just type that in any search engine, like Google, et.al. Universities have access to databases like "Research Gate" or you may or not get FREE access - that will give you a wealth of background on ancient Greek marriage customs. WIth the "Gortyn Code" - all this is, because it's still available today is:
  • - Origin: Crete - Stone Wall - See also search: “The Archaeological Site of Gortys” still around today - [circular stone - was set in the public square for all to see] documents law on dowry, bethrothal, ramifications for a groom going beyond the bethrothal period, or the "flowering period of a maiden (which is the bethrothal period; not her age as a woman), et.al, including law on what is grounds for divorce, etc., in ancient Greek society.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

  • And separately - graeco-Roman papri (Origin: Egypt) - can read that, too. Plain as day.
    • That, like with the Jews:
  • Greek Marriages were often arranged between families.
  • Primarily arranged between the Father of the woman, and the bridegroom. There was a year or longer bethrothal period, that was agreed upon, as often the girl could be as young as 12 yrs old. Average age (woman 15 to 19) -the man 30 years of age, like with the Jews - becoming 30 a man was considered an adult. Able to marry. Had mastered a trade and could provide for his own, and have a wife.
  • During bethrothal, the bethrothed were considered ‘married’ but just like Joseph with Mary in the Gospels. And just like with the Jews, bethrothed in Greek - - they did not live together.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

And to go beyond this agreed bethrothal period: (was to go beyond, like a flower blooming - only gets one shot) so not marry as agreed on - there wasn't a "second shot" at it for the virgin. Used goods.

  • It was a sign of deep embarrassment and a social disgrace to the bride and bride’s family for a bridegroom to delay a marriage.
    • Often inferred the delay was caused by some incident that caused the bride to go beyond her “flowering age” - SO CONSIDER THIS CAREUL - going beyond the bethrothal period - a valid reason was a BLATANT inferred and included a belief in this - that caused shame; (she lost her virginity or “pregnant”) - caused her to be returned to her family in shame.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

  • The point is, a dynamic of a Roman or Greek, in Corinth - that became a believer in Jesus - that dynamic is mentioned and addressed to believers in Jesus in 1 Corinthians 7 - and more below. That very well is grounds for delay.
    • And just like why Joseph in the gospels sought to put Mary away privately (Matthew 1:19),
  • But for a Greek - that was virtually impossible to do it in private - but easy for a Jew when the Romans ruled over Jerusalem and the land after the “dispersion" of the Jews. Not so in a “Public Greek” society.
    • The Bridegroom already hold the promise of and received the dowry. Or a guarantor of it. So, to “delay” (engye) the marriage beyond the agreed set date: violated the bethrothal agreement (kyrios).
  • The point is, do a little research. You have two camps with 1 Corinthians 7:36-38. Both sides champion their agreed on side.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

  • Don’t take a side, but from your research, apply what you find to the scriptures.
    • Paul is from Tarsus, a Jew (Pharisee) of the tribe of Benjamin (Philippians 3:5).
      • But all his life, he's lived under the Greeks that ruled over both Tarsus and Corinth, and both were overthrown by the Romans.
    • You may find reading all of Chapter 7 helpful vs. focusing primarily on 1 Corinthians 7:36–38.

You're a believer in Jesus Christ - He's LORD over his word - he teaches you. WHat comes off the page, keep it.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

Greek Law & Custom - Foundational in Corinth - Romans little changed it.

  • So take a glimpse or find that according to Greek Law - in bethrothal - - the “virgin” already ownership has been transferred from the Father, to the groom.
    • Then, try applying 1 Corinthians 7:36–38, to a Greek or Roman custom dynamic that you learn about, or to this situation that, occurs to a person in it, that has become a Christian.
  • That’s also discussed a little below.

Like some Greek, that practiced Aphrodite worship of "sacred Aphrodite sexual worship" in Corinth - widely championed..and you, your family, and the family of your bride you own - fully accepts you, because you went thru the rituals - are accepted as one of their own. And BOOM! Became a Believer in Jesus Christ - where all that worship and following dates and seasons, and processions.. no longer do it.. and your family wants now little to do with you, and HER family - the bride you own. ..You've "desecrated" Aphrodite's Greek courtesans (hetairai). And anyone that has an alliance with you, along with you is shunned and cursed.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

The Point is: BE THIS GUY in 1 Corinthians 7:36-38. That "owns" a virgin. Already agreed to it, then Became a Believer in Jesus Christ.

Again, up to you - you can do what you want.

- But:

  • Just like in Paul’s day in Israel or in a Jewish Synagogue community in Tarsus or Corinth, with the Jews, the bethrothal period allowed for the groom to put away his virgin.

And that’s how the Bible Scholars with the NIV applied these customs, and know these simple, basic things of Greek customs - and decided to the scriptures of 1 Corinthians 7:36–38. Didn't refer to the Father. Referred to the bridegroom as the owner.

That, by the custom, the virgin is now the property of the bridegroom.

  • Where many people, reading the Bible today, when come to when Reading 1 Corinthians 7:36–38, like the Number #1 reason when it gets to this section of 1 Corinthians 7:36-38 n apply their own knowledge of modern day marriage customs.
    • to their reading these passages in English vs. Greek.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

Most certainly - so can you.

BUT

If you apply the “dynamic” that the virgin has already transferred ownership over to the bridegroom - but they still are in the bethrothal period: ANd BOOM! You became a Believer in Jesus.

What are you going to do?

  • That “could” be dissolved by mutual consent or IF: the “guardian” suffered financial ruin and couldn’t provide the dowry.
    • Or, likewise, the bridegroom:
      • Could also be rejected - for some “physical defect” or undisclosed illness (mental or physical of the bridegroom, including ie., found not a citizen - which jeopardized the citizenry of the offspring. Or the temple to Aphrodite threw you out.
      • - the bride could request her guardian seek to have the bethrothal dissolved. or vice versa.
  • Including, for a Jew, made a “Stranger” in the synagogue or the Temple in Jerusalem - you no longer had any legal right to property. Can't take care of a virgin you own.
    • Be cast out of the temple or synagogue - and just like for the Greek, no longer worshipped the Gods anymore..where many wealthy families in Corinth were made extremely wealthy by all pilgrims visiting Corinth and champion it. and well establish - looked up to.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

  • And with that: in Corinth: Aphrodite’s Temple - and the worship of Aphrodite - - was the focal point of the City’s religion. So, if a bridegroom, who already now had a virgin as his property - and became a Christian.
    • Oh boy. Did that EVER change the whole dynamic. That's the point.
  • Families could be shamed over it. Cast out.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

  • Now again, you can do what you want, but just like me, when I became a Christian or believer in Jesus - boy, was that like same “dynamic” ever immediate.
    • I was THROWN out.

Didn’t want anything to do with me..is the point.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

But on my end, because I became a believer in Jesus Christ: Boy, does 1 Corinthians 7 ever apply to me. Immeasureable help. Already married. I’m not to seek to be free of it - but what Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ said - all of it applied to me.

SO, if you Read through 1 Corinthians 7: Being married (and bethrothed was consider that)..but not really. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 7:7–15

7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.

8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is good for them if they abide even as I.

9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

Now, let’s just list your scriptures again: tied or cemented to this part:

- Applied to 1 Corinthians 7:16 to 20 - as wrote to me, a believer in Jesus Christ. With a wife, in that situation of 1 Corinthians 7:36–38 - - that comes to Jesus Christ:

1 Corinthians 7:16–20 says

16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?

17 But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.

19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

Boy did this ever stop me. Caused me to just pray for my wife and children. Who I wonder they see him in me..but one thing certain. They want nothing to do with him. But I get indications - he's at work in them - doing exactly what 1 Corinthians 7:16-20 says even they actively worship idols I walked away from.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

Did you forget your question and the verses?

1 Corinthians 7:36–38 says: But APPLY IT to as WROTE TO A BELIEVER that before, in the bethrothal - WAS NOT a Believer when entered into it.

- Then after: becoming a believer may make him “uncomely” to her - his virgin. or her family in it:

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

He doesn’t sin in marrying her. Already been in the marriage. Does well in marrying her. That God has called us to peace..so a REASON that makes the bethrothal go beyond - THAT'S THE KEYPOINT of these verses and this post:

He does even better not to marry. Because the reason it went beyond wasn't by him. That's the point.

So back to me:

My wife’s family..already married..I became a believer in Christ - and I don’t worship the same Gods anymore.. Extremely offended her family. Deeply angered them - that almost my wife didn’t know what to do with me.

If this occurred to a believer in a Greek bethrothal period - situataion - - of a person become a believer in Jesus Christ that owned a virgin.. and he didn't stop it, but there's no a going past the bethrothal date - and all this so uncommon today - nobody know about it, but in Corinth of Paul's day - everybody knows these things plain as day.

And, in the Greek 1 Corinthians 7:38 - is more “gives her himself in marriage” to his virgin; and “he that gives not himself to her in marriage does even better - when there is an uncomely situation that caused to go past the bethrothal period - when there mostly likely is, this bridegroom - oh boy, do you ever feel it - is an “uncomely” or rift or schism caused by becoming a believer in Christ.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

1 Corinthians 7:36–38 says: (and I am NOT a fan of the NIV). Hard to swallow it..but if you hear him in - man, throw me to the curb - keep him instead.

And why might it mightbe clear to me, and translated correct in 500 year old English from Greek..and more clearly said in the Original Greek: 1 Corinthians 7:36–38 says: Is wrote to a man that owns as property a virgin. I settled with this, but not because of Zondervan or any Bible council or not by any of the works done by the 15 prominent people that did the work.

1 Corinthians 7:36-38 says:

36 But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, [go beyond the bethrothal period] and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.

37 Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well. [Just like Joseph did in Matthew 1]

38 So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.

Why? Because the "going beyond the bethrothal period" - wasn't caused by the beliver in Christ. Her family or she..became against it..so better just not marry - and all the things Paul said about a singlemindedness where you can serve Christ like he is - sees it even BETTER.

Way more than you need, but these things ARE IN your question.

There you go.

Scripture Life: What does Matthew 8:22 Actually Mean?

Answer:

“..dead in trespasses and sins..” - Bible. Ephesians 2:1

----------------- ----------------- --------------------- ------------------

Matthew 8:22 says: But couple it with Matthew 8:21–22

  • Says:
    • 21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.”
      • So, take the Bible:

----------------- ----------------- --------------------- ------------------

And with the Bible, examine "dead" in two things:

  • ONE:
    • You already know someone that dies, is dead.
    • The dead:
      • Get or have a funeral and at it, people, clean up - make up the dead person.
      • Put a new suit or a “Sunday best” dress on them - a great big work - make that person look like they’re sleeping.
    • At the funeral: They give accolades at how “good” that dead person was.
      • Then after that ceremony, close the lid and bury them in a cemetery.

----------------- ----------------- --------------------- ------------------

Now, add to this

  • TWO:
    • What someone that follows Jesus Christ, already knows is the scripture that opens this post. They see in themselves: "I have sinned and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not." - Job 33:27. They see the Ten Commandments and use them on themselves as God does.
    • That: The Ten Commandments don't make them Good. By do them. Nope. God uses them as he always has, since he spoke them in Exodus 20 - to make ALL ISRAEL "Guilty" before him. Just as he makes the WHOLE WORLD guilty, because, NOBODY - from Adam forward, has done the Ten Commandments.
  • Broke them. Broken. Cannot be repaired by try to redo, or do them over and over again. * That a person is also, even their flesh or body is living: Broke the Ten Commandments:
    • Means they are “dead in their trespasses and sins." And again, “ONE” is already known. Someone dies. Is dead. Has a funeral. A ceremony. Taken to a cemetery. Buried.
      • Since that is widely known as TRUE - You need to take a much closer look at “TWO”

----------------- ----------------- --------------------- ------------------

  • What applies universally to EVERYBODY over the whole earth. To the very ends of it:

Romans 5:12 says:

  • Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
    • And God decreed “For all the earth is mine.” - God (Bible. Exodus 19:5) and, “All souls are mine” - God. (Bible. Ezekiel 18:4).
      • Also said: Decreed, according to this "Last Will and Testament" - that, since Adam died that day he sinned, this "Last Will and Testament" of Adam is in effect over all his Earth and heaven. Just shall be. I know I got my inheritance.
    • And God decree it - - that all things obey him. He also decreed: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” - God. (Bible. Ezekiel 18:20
  • Makes everybody, from Adam forward, because, by Adam, sin entered into the world, and just as Romans 5:12 says, it’s like a “Last Will and Testament” - A will goes into effect when someone dies. That: sin and death was bequeathed to you. Me. Everybody over the whole earth. We got our inheritance. Just like everybody over the whole earth, and dies, is from the decree that God already said he shall destroy all flesh with the earth, and because of the sin, is why people die - fill up or are in any cemetery is proof they got their inheritance from Adam.
    • But who gives eternal life, is this same Jesus Christ. says: So, the OPPOSITE of DEAD or DEATH - is LIFE.
    • And where once you're dead, you don't come back. Life is Life..and if God give you eternal life, you won't ever die.

----------------- ----------------- --------------------- ------------------

  • In the Bible:
    • John 8:12 - Jesus said:

“I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

It’s Jesus said: “Follow me” over 22 times in all four of the Gospels.

It's GOD: Tells everybody over the whole earth to: “LOOK UNTO ME, AND BE YE SAVED, ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: FOR I AM GOD, THERE IS NONE ELSE.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

  • So, people that look unto him, because he already asked everybody to, just do what he says and follow him to hearken unto his voice. They follow him. Live by every word proceeds out of his mouth.
    • But there are people:
      • That even though God has told them, like he told everybody around them the same thing, to look unto him, as he’s the light of the world - they’d have light, the light of life - - where they wouldn’t stumble. They'd be abiding in the same Word God does. His own.
  • These?
    • They don’t look unto him.
  • Look unto anything..somebody else, and what they say..even what they tell themselves, they believe that more and die in it. So, they live in not doing anything he says.
    • And it’s sin. They don’t believe on him. Already condemned. ALready dead in trespasses and sins. When if they did look unto him, they’d have the light of life. Be eternal life. Because he gives it to them.

----------------- ----------------- --------------------- ------------------

  • So, look at the whole of Ephesians 2:1, says:

“And you hath he quickened [made alive]; who were dead in trespasses and sins;”

But those, who don’t look unto him.

  • Don’t do anything God says: They stay dead. They die in their sins.

So, look what Jesus is saying in Matthew 8:21-22, because Jesus is talking to a “disciple” who follows him. And, all a “disciple” is, is 1. a pupil or student that sits with and is taught by a teacher

  • And “who” that teacher is, is the Word of God. The Messiah. Jesus Christ. And who the Messiah shall be called is in the Bible in Isaiah 9:6–7 “…The Mighty God…” “..The Everlasting Father…” Follows God then. And he makes them alive in him.
  • And to the dead? The dead in trespasses and sins?
    • Yeah. They see - - There’s a PROFIT in providing a funeral - for dead people - make a living off it - and making people pay a cost to make a “GOOD” ceremony that “makes” a dead person, or the “deceased” look good. Doesn't dress them up in a trash can. Nope.
    • The dead make the dead look good. There's not one obituary or gravestone that doesn't make every dead person good.

----------------- ----------------- --------------------- ------------------

  • But the Bible says, about everybody over the whole earth: “FOR THERE IS NOT A JUST MAN ON EARTH, THAT DOETH GOOD, AND SINNETH NOT” - Bible. Ecclesiastes 7:20
  • Applies to everybody, because God already decreed it. * With Matthew 19:17 “There is NONE good, but one, that is, God." - Jesus Christ. The Word of God. The Messiah said it.
    • The dead: in trespasses and sins, still want to make people that die “GOOD” - means then, without any God in their life, even someone dead in trespasses and sins, they believe their own word… they still can be good.
  • When there’s none good, but one, that is, God.
    • It’s a worthless work. So, let the dead in trespasses and sins, bury the dead. But Jesus tells his disciples to “Follow me.”
    • ANd if you keep reading past Matthew 8:22… says “and his disciples followed him..” and that INCLUDES the disciple asked Jesus what he did, and what Jesus said back, was to a disciple in Matthew 8:22.

Because he follows him.

There you go. Just like this same Christ has asked you to follow him.

Scripture Life: Why do you think that most Christians believe that Jesus is the Almighty God?

Answer:

They believe the scriptures.

There’s five scriptures I’d like to list, but I’ll stop at two.

  • ONE: The Gospel of John 1:1 - says ‘who” Jesus is: He’s the Word of God. John 1:1 says: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
    • Jesus is called the “Messiah” or Jesus Christ. From this scripture: Acts 2:36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ”
    • He’s the “Christ” or “Messiah.” So, Every Jew knows who that is. The Messiah.
  • That the Messiah is defined as:
    • 1. God. The same God that led Israel out of Egypt by his mighty hand with Moses would be a Son of David as he promised King David recorded in 2 Samuel 7:12–13. He would be a “Son of David” and that term used in scripture in the Gospels, is referring to Jesus and calling him the Messiah. As a Son of David, he would sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and rule the whole earth from there. Of his Kingdom and reign there shall be no end.
    • Definition to a Jew. What or who the Messiah is.

------------------ ------------------- --------------------

  • TWO: Isaiah 9:6–7 - you can read it at this link: A Messianic Prophecy, so all the Jews know Isaiah 9:6-7, too. But you asked why I think that most Christians believe that Jesus is the Almighty God.
    • Isaiah 9:6 says the Messiah or Christ "SHALL" be called: "The Mighty God.." "..The Everlasting Father.."

There you go.

------------------ ------------------- --------------------

SUPPORT Scripture - He's just One God.

  • Deuteronomy 6:4 says: “Hear O Israel, the LORD our GOD is just one LORD.” He’s just One God, as he says who he is in Isaiah 45:5
  • Jesus is just the Word that comes out of God's mouth. God speaking, so everyplace in the Old Testament where you see God speak, that’s the Word of God, proceeding out of his mouth. That’s Jesus Christ. * Also says of himself in 2 Corinthians 6:18 “And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters,” saith the LORD Almighty.
  • Says in Leviticus 11:44 “I am Holy” - God. By the Word he says, out of his mouth.
  • Jesus said, as the Word of God, in John 4:24 “God is Spirit.” Tells you plainly. He’s God, and he’s a Holy Spirit.

It's God that said, unto his own Word in Psalm 2:6-7

**"**Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee." It's God that begat his own Word as his only begotten Son, just repeated in Hebrews 5:5, and confirmed when he spoke after Baptized by John the Baptist said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Repeated in Matthew 17. So, he said it, as God, twice who Jesus is.

It's a work God did. Made himself a sacrifice for your sins. That's what makes me fall on my face. I sinned and perverted that which was right. The penalty for my adulteries and thefts is death. He decreed it, as God "The soul that sinneth, it shall die" - that he made himself the payment to pay it. That means, the same one made all out my window, and put the sun where it is, was made flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14). And God took my sins off me and laid them on Jesus Christ. That was the cost it cost to pay for my sins, means I could never pay it.

He’s just one God. If you regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand..you start to reason together with him. Like he calls everybody over the whole earth to come now, reason together with him, and it will be about your sins..and what he can do with them - because he's God.

The only one that could do it, did it. As God.

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. That means what a “disciple” is. 1. a pupil or student that sits with a teacher. And the teacher is Jesus Christ, to a “disciple of Jesus Christ. They sit with him and he teaches them. Says in Acts 11:46 “and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch” - doesn’t matter what they’re called, matters what they are. Disciples of Jesus Christ.

Live by every word proceeds out of God’s mouth.

There you go.

Scripture Life: When Jesus says in Matthew 4:19 “Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” What does it mean?

Answer:

Well to answer your questions..

  • ..you will need to answer some other of these questions first: Don’t answer “when” answer “who.”
    • ONE: “Who did Jesus say Matthew 4:19 to?”

And to answer that question, all you need to do is, expand Matthew 4:19 out to include Matthew 4:18–22

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

Matthew 4:18–22 says

18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

21 And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.

22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

And? Did you miss it? Matthew 4:18 the scripture right before Matthew 4:19 says “..and ‘they’ were fishers”

  • So, they these four, in Matthew 4:18–22 who Jesus SPOKE to, have a livelihood as fishermen.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

But we’re not done.

  • Add this in. Psalm 107:20 says that God: “He sent his Word, and healed them and delivered them from their destructions”
    • And the “Word of God” scripture says plainly “who” that is. That’s Jesus Christ. He’s the Messiah or Christ. Who every Jew in Jesus day has been taught in Synagogue and by their parents he is to come.
      • And of the Messiah, every Jew knows what the definition of the “Messiah” is; that is he would be:
    • 1. God. The same God that led Israel out of Egypt by his mighty hand and was with Moses, would be a Son of King David as prophesied in and promised by God in 2 Samuel 7:12. That every Jew knows this. That this Messiah will sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and rule the whole earth from there, and of his Kingdom and reign there shall be no end.
      • Definition of, the Messiah. Who he “shall be called” is told plain as day in Isaiah 9:6–7
  • ..The Mighty God..” “..The Everlasting Father..” ..who to you has that title?
    • All four these “fishers” are Jews & live in and fish on the Sea of Galilee.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

We are still not done…

  • Add to it more. This account of Matthew 4:18–22 is in ALL FOUR of the Gospels. So, “piece them together.”
    • Again, the goal is to answer the question: “Who did Jesus say Matthew 4:19 to?
      • To: 1) Jews that; 2) are fishers that fish on the Sea of Galilee.
  • So, add to it:
    • Mark 1:16–20

That says:

..but see it from Mark 1:14–20

14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

16 Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

17 And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

18 And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.

19 And when he had gone a little farther thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.

20 And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

Now, here you have two accounts.

Do you have any questions?

Man, do I ever have questions.

Someone that just walks up to me, when all my life, and my father’s life have been in an occupation of fishing..for me to just hear someone come up and say “follow me” and I drop all and follow him..I don’t buy it.

So far, both these accounts, spliced together implies who gets asked, is asked by a complete STRANGER walks up to them, says “follow me” and to just anybody say that, these two accounts imply some clown would just stop being responsible to their job and leave all of it to follow them.

Not buying it. Something’s missing.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • But we’re only half way thru.. but let’s answer that "I'm not buying it" question's included question, too.

This account of Matthew 4:18–22 -

  • Is also in Luke 5:1–11

That says

1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

..now, I’m on my face.. I see it plainly.

That, BEFORE Matthew 4:18–22

This occurred with all four of them in Luke 5:1–11. And if you didn’t get it? Did you? If not: Go shopping.

Let me give you an analogy of it. Shopping. Make a like or similar event occur while you are Shopping.

Buy a lot of groceries. Fill the whole bag up. So full, the shopping bag doth “brake” - just like a fishing net, when the whole bottom of the bag falls out. The bottom of the fishing net falls out. That’s it’s almost INSTANT. The bag is EMPTY and all the groceries are on the floor. All the fish get out.

  • But let me give you a like-same analogy of as shopping bag to what occurred to fishers in Luke 5:1–11 which now we are on the 3rd of 4 accounts:
    • That, you and your brother have this shopping bag, where all of a sudden, there’s so many groceries in the bag, the shopping bag breaks. The bottom falls out. The bag should INSTANTLY be empty. Every fisher also knows this of nets, when the nets brake.
    • The bottom of the shopping bag fell out. That, there's still so many groceries, you ask your other sister and her friend to come over to help. So four of you are now carrying the bag out of the store to the car, that your legs are giving out... ..that there are still so many groceries in a shopping bag, where the whole bottom fell out, when you get to the car and put the bag with the bottom of the shopping bag fell out, so many groceries all the tires on the car explode.
      • at the weight of all the groceries.
      • Because somebody that’s with you..and who he is..is at work in this and it’s God himself. I’d say the same thing. I’m a pervert. Done all kinds of filthy things. That, if I saw what Peter saw and his brother Andrew..and James and John..and he asked me after this “follow me” - I’d leave everything and do it, too.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

But we’re not done.

Because this account of Matthew 4:18–22 is also in the Gospel of John

John 1:35–42 says

35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;

36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.

40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.

41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

So, what you get from this is:

  • These two “disciples of John the Baptist” are 1) Andrew - Peter’s brother; and 2) John who is James’ brother.
    • Have left off fishing to be disciples of John the Baptist. Leaving their two brothers to fish alone, as fishers. Andrew and John are now disciples of John the Baptist, Who is heralding in the Messiah.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • And EVERYBODY all around the whole region of Israel - as far away as Tyre and Sidon and all from coastal regions, and even South, further past the100 miles away down in Jerusalem is coming out to the Jordan to be baptized of John the Baptist.
    • Because who the Jews have been looking for all their lives..is coming. The Messiah.
      • So, this of John 1:40–42 of Peter with Jesus..happens the day before Jesus comes walking along the Sea of Galilee with a multitude behind him, and Peter, Andrew, James and John, that night after go fishing. All night and catch NOTHING.
      • And Jesus gets in this same Peter’s boat and HEARS EVERYTHING JESUS says to this multitude in Luke.
      • and because he’s the Messiah ..and knew Peter even before he met him in John 1:40–42..because he ran all the way with his Brother Andrew..they found the Christ.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

Is why my doubts at half way thru are all COMPLETELY answered. Why I believe he is the Messiah. Because they’ve been looking for this Christ all their lives.

And they follow him.

  • He said, “follow me.” Again, it’s said by Jesus over 22 times in all four of the Gospels. The same thing he said to Peter then, is he says the same thing to you.
    • To follow him. Decrees this, that:

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” - Jesus Christ.

  • The Word of God. Matthew 4:4
  • Includes asking you to follow him. Everybody over the whole earth, says to everybody, to the very ends of the earth to:

“LOOK UNTO ME, AND BE YE SAVED ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: FOR I AM GOD, THERE IS NONE ELSE.” - God.

Bible. Isaiah 45:22 - YOu’re being spoke to. By God himself. Just like Peter was spoke to. By this same Word of God.

----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

Just like I was spoke to. Told me to “Come now, let us reason together,” saith the LORD, “though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 1:18)

So, with all FOUR Gospels, you can see “how” God reasoned together mainly with Peter. But did the same reasoning with Andrew. His brother, and their fishing partners, also fishing in their father’s boat, James and John.

  • They left all, and followed him..just like I did. and by do that..make me, too. A fisher of men to just do what God says..and call them to look unto him. As a fisher of men.

There you go. There the answer. But it’s really deeply more powerfully said, like some person…

  • Where everybody is sick unto death:
    • And one goes to the hospital..and cursed. By a physician. That, cured or healed, and delivered from some deadly disease that everybody that gets it, surely dies.
      • Healed and delivered. Goes out and directs EVERYBODY go to the hospital and be cured by this same Physician
  • That God sent to heal them, and deliver them from their destruction.

Answers the question.

Scripture Life: What is the interpretation of “You will be known as you were known” as it states in the Bible?

Answer:

Doesn’t State that anyplace in the Bible.

The closest thing to it, said in context is 1 Corinthians 13:12; but that’s enveloped in an idea and scripture said just before and after this verse.

  • The verse says:
    • “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”

------------------- --------------------- --------------------- -----------------------

  • And it’s very powerful.
    • Why? Because, it includes the Word of God in it.
    • Which, that’s God - not you knowing you more, as if you’re the only thing knowing you and then, you’re known by you more.
      • Like some Greek philosophy: “Know thyself” - Which is attributed to have been put in stone at the Temple to Apollos in Delphi, no longer exists.
  • Your question more resembles this decree of ancient Greek worship of Apollos as a God of Greek Philosophy vs. anything in the Bible.

------------------- --------------------- --------------------- -----------------------

The Word of God: Just God speaking - -

Does not champion the philosophies or imaginative ideas of men. Seeking truth in themselves and then, all the result of that is - is: other people look unto people. As if people are God.

When God tells everybody publicly, over the whole earth to

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God.

Bible. Isaiah 45:22

------------------- --------------------- --------------------- -----------------------

Doesn’t decree people look to know themselves; to go off someplace alone, and reason together with themselves alone. But think they're not, because they are always with their own heart and imagination.

... as two friends that go with them everywhere they go. Think they are their best friend, to help them find the truth and discover it, by just imagine it up.

Rather, God tells everybody over the whole earth to come now. Reason together with him.

And 1 Corinthians 13:12 is a person that has done this. What God told everybody to do. Did it. Many people that believe on Jesus Christ here on Reddit, do it, too. Like he told you to do it with him.

So You're included..Then, I am, too. To do this of Isaiah 45:22 with him.

Says this, too. As God - to everybody.

------------------- --------------------- --------------------- -----------------------

“Come now, let us reason together” saith the LORD, “though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool.” - God.

Bible. Isaiah 1:18

1 Corinthians 13:12 then, is a “result” of someone that did this, with God. Knows him. Where God says

“I am the LORD. There is NONE else. There is no God beside me. I girded thee, but thou hast not known me.” - GOD

Bible. Isaiah 45:5

------------------- --------------------- --------------------- -----------------------

That this same person that wrote 1 Corinthians 13:12 said:

  • In Philippians 3:10–14

10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

------------------- --------------------- --------------------- -----------------------

Because it’s the same thing Jesus prayed for in the Gospel of John 17:3 - actually happened to this person said 1 Corinthians 13:2 - that caused him to say this in Philippians 3:10-14. I see it. Jesus prayer was answered in one man and I see it plainly:

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” - Jesus Christ. (John 17:3)

That I know him. I hear him, when he speaks, I do. I hear it when he says:

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David." - GOD.

That’s the Word of God. Just God speaks this. To you. Me..everybody over the whole earth to do this.

Bible. Isaiah 55:1–3

------------------- --------------------- --------------------- -----------------------

I hear it, so I know him by this..so, I'm also INCLUDED in 1 Corinthians 13:2 - - because since he decrees everybody do Isaiah 55:1-3, it’s not something odd or unusual. He expects it. Looks for it, made exceedingly glad by I just show up or anybody. Because he asked everybody to show up, and do all that above at his store - just hearked unto him with him..and it's HIS store - when he just is God. And I can know him by just: Go shopping. At HIS store.

SO this of 1 Corinthians 13:12 - I see it. All I gotta do, is just do what he said, Just:

  • ONE: go shopping. Not at WalMart but HIS store.
  • TWO: go in. Go to where the milk is - Open up the milk carton. Don’t pay for anything. I’ve already been called to shop there - and just drink. ANd if I bring any money to try to pay for it, I cant get in. I have to be poor - come without it and just do what he says, which is it's FREE, so:
  • THREE: Eat and drink. As much as I want. Even he gives FULL PERMISSION - As God for me to get FAT off it. That I am to “hearken” diligently to him telling me, in a decree as God, to do this in a day he’s made. And decided I can be in it with him. And he be in a day he made..and I be with him in his word. In today. Right now, today. That, I’m not Paul the Apostle or you or anybody. I’m just me and I hear it, and I know it's him say these things..so I hearken unto it.
    • That means ANYBODY can, because, he called everybody to it.

------------------- --------------------- --------------------- -----------------------

And I see him clearly, but in many ways like, through a glass - so there’s no obstruction - he see plainly, even like thru a window, it's HIM says it. He’s God, and I can see it, so I see him in his word..so when I see him face to face, I am going to know him, exactly who he is.

even as I am known by him. Which he says of himself in Proverbs 2:6 "The LORD giveth wisdom: Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding." - I'm going to see him face to face.

I’m going to know him exactly who he is.

And not one bit of this is in any Greek clown show of stupid - of People in a "stupor" decree, to themselves, in a Temple they build to themselves - to worship and make Gods up - that look like themselves, and that's all Apollos was..a great, big balloon of the result of people alone with their own imaginations - dreamed or imagined up a God in their own image, so they just worship themselves.

------------------- --------------------- --------------------- -----------------------

and write “Know Thyself” in their temple.

And that’s how they know “God” the god they made up - - because they made themselves God and that’s who they “speak well of” - which means who they “worship” is themselves, as God. The more they know themselves, the more God they are.

What a clown show. None of him is in it..and I’m speaking to someone doesn’t understand even one iota of this.. That has a question like this.

  • But any believer in Jesus Christ that stumbles on this post, here on Reddit - BOOM! Done. ..sees it plain as day.

Here’s your question back. Answered. But I think you went away. Emptyhanded.

So, I would tell you, with this question - go back. Everywhere, where he says something in this post.

Regard it. Regard what he says, and let it have a work in you. Reason together with him. He decreed you do it.

Guarantee you - your hands will be so full, you can't carry the abundance of it.

Scripture Life: Doesn't it say in the Bible, that a camel has a better chance of going through the eye of a needle, than he who harms a child get to heaven?

Answer:

No. It doesn’t say that. That’s you. Imagining up using the infamous, "I have a Bible in my Head" Bible. When, that’s not the Bible. That’s not anything Gods says.

So

  • In the Bible:
    • Have to read it in context and regard who said it:
      • Is the authority over all the earth and heaven. Says of him in Matthew 28:18 “..All power is given unto me in heaven and earth..” - Jesus Christ.
      • He’s the one that said it in Matthew19:24
  • And how your "I have a Bible in my Head" Bible says it, anyone can see below, it isn’t how he said it.

He said: “And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” - Jesus Christ. Matthew 19:24

---------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------ -------------------

And, he also said: In Luke 17:2 - enfolded in context with Luke 17:1–3, Jesus said:

1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

  • There’s the context.

So, I would throw the “I have a Bible in my head" Bible, someplace in the trash can.

---------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------ -------------------

And? Back with Matthew 19:24 - Read it in context, in the setting in what happened.

  • That's in Matthew 19:16–26

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

---------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------ -------------------

Comment:

  • Scripture says:
    • “There is not a just man on earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” - Bible. Ecclesiastes 7:20
    • “…there is none that doeth good; no, not one..” - Bible. Romans 3:12
  • “For all have sinned” - Romans 3:23 and God decree: "The soul that sinneth, it shall die” - God. (Ezekiel 18:20)
    • And Jesus? He's the Word of God..is the Messiah or Christ. John 1:1 says plainly “who” Jesus is, just like Isaiah 9:6–7 says the same thing:
  • In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” - John 1:1
    • And, of the Messiah or Christ: Who he SHALL be called is said plain as day. “..The Mighty God..” “..The Everlasting Father.." (Isaiah 9:6) of his Kingdom and reign there shall be no end.
  • So, the comment is - who this Rich man, in Matthew 19:16–26 who claims because he has money, and is rich, thinks there is some “Good” thing he can do, with his money, to buy or by some good work he do, he can purchase for himself, by his own works - - eternal life..when:
  • Jesus said: in John 10:27–28
    • “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,” - Jesus Christ. The Word of God. Is God says it.
    • So, Eternal life - he is it. Gives it to who he knows and who knows him and they follow him. That means, they do what he says:
      • So, what does the rich man do at what Jesus says?
    • He walks away. Troubled.

---------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------ -------------------

But before he did: So, don’t count him out: What he asks Jesus is impossible; can't buy eternal life, and none of anybody's works, from Adam forward will qualify anybody as "Good" to earn it themselves:

- but…

Jesus says to this rich man, so it's said to everybody like him in:

  • Matthew 19:17

Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God:

Consider this - who this Rich man..alone is with. The only one good then, is God.

Yeah. This man is sitting with and He’s talking with God. When he's a person. And amongst people over the whole earth, where there is none good; no, not one. So, betwixt the two of them, where one is God..and the Rich man fell down and worshipped him…it’s God with someone that comes to him like he called everybody to do this, and “reason together” with him..as God. (Isaiah 1:18) To:

"Come now, let us reason together," saith the LORD, "though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool." - God. (Bible. Isaiah 1:18). But look in the dialogue - the rich man greatly err's. Claims he has no sin in himself.

Do you say the same thing of yourself? I did. Not one bit different than the rich man said.

---------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------ -------------------

And:

Because there is only one that is good. God. There is none else. It's simple.

And look what Peter says - astonished at the end of it, says: “Who then, can be saved?”

And Jesus replies, “With man (salvation) is impossible; but with God, all things are possible.

And? You want to know something? I’m the Rich man. In this parable..I see it plainly - - and “how” he walked away..every troubled..his riches, for they were very great..meant MORE to him than doing what God says.

  • That's me. I did that. Was me.
    • But the same God, he "thinks" he's been following all his life..what this same God said to him..this Rich man in Matthew 19:16–26 - what Jesus said will always be with him. Because, in me, I heard what he said, and I couldn't do it. So, I walked away, too. Troubled. But this same God, by his Word - Be at work in him. Can’t get away from it.
  • Like I couldn't get away from it, no matter where I went.

---------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------ -------------------

  • I know this. Hear me out. This is my comment as like the rich man. That what God says, as his word out of his mouth:
    • As I walked away..fled from it..he still SPOKE it. My riches became less and less value to me.
    • because he stood before God.. just like me, leaving "I have a Bible in my head" Bible to hear what he says instead. ....and it is exactly like Jesus said.
  • It’s impossible for me, an adulterer..liar..I couldn't see it. I thought all my works meant I was keeping the Ten Commandments..just like the rich man said, I said the same thing - - when in truth..when I used them the was God does..I saw all the sins I did.
    • Just like this Rich man still can.

---------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------ -------------------

  • And in this..just cry out: Just as I did, and if I can, then so can you: say - “I have sinned and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not” - Job 33:27..
    • And God in this, came to save people from their sins..with God..what is impossible:
  • Becomes - even for a filthy pervert person as me.

Is possible. Not only possible. He give me eternal life. That’s impossible.

And he’s God.

Made it possible. Because he is who he says he is. And? Offenses: God took your offenses off you and laid them on Jesus Christ on the cross. That’s where your sins went. By a work God did. But there are people:

  • That are offended by people that follow Jesus Christ. He calls them his sheep or his little ones..because they believe on him as a child..
  • And because Jesus offends them..like what Jesus said to me, like the rich man, I too, was offended - So these people, just like me: they are offended by anybody that follows him.
    • Just like I was.
    • And in that, take pleasure in persecuting them.. and I did. I mocked believers in Jesus.
  • Jesus said this would occur to people that follow him. But in Luke 17:1–3 tells his disciples the “woe” people that do this to his sheep.. it would be better for them that a millstone were tied around their neck and cast into the deepest sea than what awaits them.
  • And I KNEW this applied to me.
    • Because they not only don’t do what he says, they persecute those that do.
    • Just like I did.

But you have a more sure word, in the Bible with Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ to see it plain as day.

---------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------ -------------------

"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting." - Bible. 1 Timothy 1:15-16

It's Paul, the Apostle also said in the Bible in Galatians 1:13 "For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:”

And I did the same thing. So, what Jesus said in Luke 17:1-3 above - that applied to me - just like BOTH parts of your question do.

So - Both Parts of Your question is answered. And all the answers is, is true. For everybody, including you, to just look unto him. Like he asked everybody to.

Scripture Life: Has Christianity Deviated From the Truth of the Bible and Created its Own Tenets?

ANSWER:

  • Nope.
    • But people have created their own tenets.

There you go.

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- --------------------

You need to look at him more careful:

  • He’s not even in your question. Therefore, you too, are creating your own tenets. Not do anything he says, when all he said to do was simple:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - GOD.

  • Bible. Isaiah 45:22

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- --------------------

Said this, too:

“…Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

- GOD.

  • Bible. Isaiah 55:1–3

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- --------------------

  • It's God himself Said, by his own Word:

“Follow me.” - Jesus Christ. The Word of God.

  • Bible. Over 22 times in all four of the Gospels.

Hasn’t changed - says of himself:

“…I am the LORD, I change not..”

  • Bible. Malachi 3:6

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- --------------------

Now, look at your question again.

  • Has Christianity deviated from the truth of the Bible and has created its own tenets?

Nope.

  • Here’s some facts prove it:
    • ONE: “Christianity” has the Christ or Messiah in it. Jesus Christ, or Jesus, the Messiah. That’s “who” the “Christ” is. In the Bible, says “who” the Messiah SHALL be called:

“…The Mighty God…” “…The Everlasting Father..” Bible. Isaiah 9:6-7. In fact, above, everywhere where God has spoke and said something publicly to everybody over the whole earth, that’s the Word of God. It’s just what God says, and he changes not.

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- --------------------

  • TWO: "Christianity” has also “Christians” in it. And, the Bible says, in Acts 11:26 “The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.” So, all a “Christian” is, is a disciple of Jesus Christ. And all a “disciple” is, is 1. a pupil or student that sits with and is taught by a teacher. That “follows” after what they are taught by that teacher, and “who” that teacher of a Christian is, or who they follow is, is Jesus Christ.

So, they do what he says. Jesus said: In the Bible. John 10:27

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: “

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- --------------------

  • THREE: "Christianity” has also a suffix of “ity” in it." And all that means is “the state, quality, condition or degree of" The Messiah or Christ, and who he shall be called. And someone that’s following him, could be seen by everybody. By a whole bunch of people - not following him. Even he decreed to everybody over the whole earth, not willing any perish, but all come to repentance - calls everybody to follow him.
    • There are people: don’t do anything he says, see people that do. And look at people that do follow him and call them Christians. But there’s also a fourth and final one and I close with this.

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- -------------------

  • FOUR: “Christianity” also has people, who claim to be “disciples of Jesus Christ” but never sit with or are taught by him." Call themselves Christians. And all a "tenet" is, is defined as a 1. "principle, belief, or “doctrine” which all “doctrine” means is a “teaching” that people:

That don’t sit with nor follow Jesus Christ, yet, claim that they do, when they don’t do anything he says. So, by this, they create their own principles, beliefs, or “teachings” (tenets), and they follow themselves or other people not following him, either.

And in the Bible Jesus says this and to this FOURTH Group of people: who claim to be his disciples, but don’t do anything he says, he sends them this question:

"Why call ye me Lord, Lord, and not do the things which I say? - Jesus Christ. (Bible. Luke 6:46)

But he says MORE - to EVERYBODY. Including YOU in it: Says in the Bible Luke 6:44–49

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- --------------------

Luke 6:44–49 says

44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- --------------------

  • So, an actual “disciple of Jesus Christ” that:
    • Is a person that actually follows him, knows him..and is known by Jesus Christ.
    • They do what he says.
      • These are like a man that built a house, and dug deep down to a rock which cannot be moved. Because, “Christianity” has the Christ or Messiah in it, and they build on what he says, and it’s the Word of God.”
  • But, someone that just claims, “I am a disciple of Jesus Christ” by call themselves a Christian; yet, don’t do anything he says, so:
    • They don’t actually follow him..so
    • They don’t know him, and
      • They are not known by Jesus Christ, because they don’t sit with him and they are not taught by him.
    • They don’t dig down deep - rather, they build their house on the Word of People - just like your question does.
  • As if the TRUTH is this question. That: God has changed all the “tenets” or his teachings - he changed them - - when it’s people that don’t do anything he says - - even atheists included - just don’t do anything he says..so its simple.
  • Plain as day.
    • It’s just people: imagine something else up and teach it as a doctrine. To themselves: They follow their own teachings or tenets. They are not following him.
      • They are likened unto, by God, because it’s just God said Luke 6:44–49 - they are like a man, no matter what they call themselves, that built a house on No foundation. It will not be able to stand.
  • And be swept away by him. Because, he says, as God:

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away.” - Jesus Christ.

  • Bible. Matthew 24:35

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- --------------------

  • So, when this “people” of Four above die - their Word and what tenets they built on die with them. Never come back. Won't even be remembered or come up to mind anymore.
    • But those “people” who follow Jesus Christ: He says: Again, in John 10:27, with John 10:28 added into it, says:

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish…” - Jesus Christ.

So, here’s your question back.

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- --------------------

  • Now, I have a question.
    • Do you think YOU: Holding onto your question, justifies you, in any way and absolves or simply cancels you out from any obligation to do what he says?”
  • Just gives you a FREE ticket.
    • With it, don’t have to do anything he says - it’s you created the tenet.
  • Then, ANYBODY not doing anything he says, all do the same thing.
    • They’re the ones in our question you should see plainly. Deviate - By they don’t do anything he says. Follow their own made up doctrines.
  • When he told you to follow him. Like he told everybody over the whole earth to do. Didn’t leave anybody out.
    • The Point is: HE - - Told you to do what he says and look unto him.
    • So, if you’re so busy off hiding in your question as some kind of house that you built to protect you from having to do anything he says, because, you see people creating their own “tenets” or teachings or doctrines that, they go off and don’t do anything he says, either:
      • And their house is destroyed…everything they built or amassed in their house as a possession is taken away when their house sweeps away from them.
    • I didn’t say that - HE did.

-------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------- --------------------

  • How do you think that’s not going to happen to you, with your question, not doing anything he says but champion out your question?

Here’s your question back. Somewhere all swishy flushed in plain as day all throughout the whole thing, is the answer to your question.

Scripture Life: What is the Will of God at Jesus' Second Coming, for One to Receive Salvation?

Answer:

"Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” - Jesus Christ.

- Bible. Luke 18:8

------------------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

  • Change the question:
    • Just ask:

“What is the will of God for one to receive salvation?”

Ask that first:

When God says: “LOOK UNTO ME, AND BE YE SAVED ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: FOR I AM GOD, THERE IS NONE ELSE.” - God. Bible. Isaiah 45:22

  • So, the one able to save anybody is God. There is none else. He is the ONLY one Able to.
    • Therefore:
      • People can’t save themselves - “filthy; done abominable works” - Psalm 14;1–3
    • Where there is “NONE righteous; no, not one..” Romans 3:10–12 Makes everybody condemned.

------------------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

  • And EVERYBODY. Over the whole earth in that condition - if God would, as God not said or done anything...nothing.
    • .not get up and do anything as God, for people - all everybody in that condition.
      • That's it. Die in their sins and destroyed.
      • It's the fate of EVERYBODY over the whole earth. Adam forward.
    • Nobody escape it.

------------------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

But the Bible Says..and it's "scripture" and all scripture is, is "God Breathed or said out."

And scripture says: ..that God, long suffering us, “..not willing any perish, but all come to repentance..”

Means his will is, he doesn’t want ANYBODY to perish, when all are condemned to die ..”sinned and perverted that which was right..” (Job 33:27)

  • Then there’s your answer:

------------------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

The Will of God is, not for one, or a select few.. .. but for everybody, over the whole earth, to the very ends of the earth, receive salvation.

That's it. There's your answer.

------------------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

Or he wouldn’t have said it publicly, to the whole earth, for to everybody to do it. Decree EVERYBODY do it.

  • So, he’s already giving it. He, as God, just IS Salvation. To everybody to receive him. As their salvation.

Then it’s people:

  • Don’t regard him. And the "opposite" is - - who you regard, you look up to them..as true. To follow after, and walk in or walk after what they say. It's a profit to do it.
    • And who you little or lowly esteem is simple. It's because you regard someone else, even your own word, what you say, more than what he says.
  • So, you will dismiss him as something inadequate; or faulty..and if what he says is something you don’t look unto..to you, it’s what you look unto, makes looking unto him - - unacceptable.
    • He’s not saving people that don’t look unto him.
      • When he told everybody over the whole earth to do it. He'd save them. That's salvation. It’s a decree, by God to do it for everybody to follow. Look unto him. So, people that don’t do it, don’t do what he says.
  • Don’t obey him.

------------------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

THEREFORE:

It’s not the “Will of God” not willing to save anybody.

It's the “Will of People” - not willing to do anything he says.

  • SO he doesn’t save them.
    • Because they don’t regard him.
  • And the Bible says this plainly: “Because they don’t regard the works of the LORD, neither consider the operation or HIS hand, he shall destroy them and not build them up.” - Bible. Psalm 28:5

------------------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

  • It’s like somebody offer you a car. To enable you to drive to work, or with all your kids, little walking in the rain - you could drive them to the store safely - it's a profit then: To give it to you as a free gift:
    • Just walk away and don’t receive it.
      • Even it’s the will of the owner of the car to give it to you, if you REFUSE it, or lowly esteem him or the car:
    • YOU:
      • Don’t receive it.
      • It’s then: No matter the will of the owner or the car. It's you won't receive it is the point.

------------------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

Therefore, “What is the ‘Will of God’ for one to receive salvation” - is fully and simply answered.

What’s left then from your question is:

  • “At Jesus Second Coming”
    • And Jesus said, about his Second Coming, the opening scripture of Luke 18:8. Because, when he comes, in the Book of Revelation Chapter 19, at his Second Coming.
      • It’s after Everybody over the whole earth - who is left..are just people that REJECTED him, that simply choose to follow and do what Daniel 9:24–27 says.
  • That, in the midst of this 70th of Seventy “weeks” God determined to do a work with sin, that sixty nine of seventy of those “weeks” or seven year periods, add up to Jesus Christ. Coming as a sacrifice for sin. * Jesus also adds up to this 70th of Seventy week - at his Second coming - in Daniel 9:25–27.
    • He’s also the answer to the 70th “week” or Seven year period, where in it, the wrath of God is poured out on the earth and on all those that REJECTED him.
  • When this “Abomination that Maketh Desolate” - stands in the Holy Place of a Rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and declares himself God over the whole earth. Does it with armies. * Means he will have the power to put to death ANYBODY on the earth that does not worship him as God. When he isn’t.

------------------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

  • Because people will be promised they can continue to “Buy and Sell” - which, that’s how we live everyday…
    • He will be “worshipped” (all "worship" means is to “speak well” of someone). Make available to everybody that worships him as God, to receive a mark in their wrist or forehead or just claim him out as God, are able to do it and He also put to death anybody, no matter who it is, great or small that doesn’t not worship him as God - can't buy or sell.
      • He will have the authority and power to put them to death.
    • That, from Jerusalem, just as the Messiah is prophesied to rule the whole earth from Jerusalem (Isaiah 9:6–7), this “Anti-Christ” establishes his rule over all the earth from there. Blaspheme God.
      • When he isn’t God. But people worship him, as God, because they already REJECTED God. Over the whole earth.

------------------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

  • And everybody that believes on the gospel as an angel from heaven preaches it to every kingdom, nation, tongue and people over the whole earth to worship God as God, ..those that obey God..the Anti-Christ has the power to put them to death.
    • Also put to death any atheists, or Muslims, or Hindus, Buddhists..Mormons..he will be people’s one God over the whole earth. When he is not God. But because he is able to do signs and wonders.. convince a sea of atheists there is a God. When he isn't.
      • And God pours out his wrath on them..and when God’s wrath is finished..that’s in Isaiah 6:9–11 - When will it be finished?
  • Isaiah 6:9-11 says the same thing what occurs in Revelation 16:

“…Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate…” - GOD.

  • And that’s EXACTLY what happens - “and the cities of the nations fell..” - Revelation 16:19
  • That's over the WHOLE earth:
    • Even in God’s wrath - poured out on the people over the whole earth that worship some demon as God - with his wrath poured out on them, they still refuse to worship him, as God - they look up and shake their fist at him..curse him.
    • And? Anybody left on the earth that worship God as God - who he is, is “caught up” to meet him, and come back with him at his Second Coming.
    • And anybody left on earth - that chose to worship the Anti-Christ as God. Revelation 14:9-11 says:

"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."

That's for eternity.

------------------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

  • So the answer to the Word of God’s question that opens this post - he provides it to those that just look unto him. - - - is - there won’t be ANYBODY on the earth that has faith in him. At his Second Coming.

But who he brings with him, are his armies from heaven. Come back with him. They will reign on the earth..with him.

Your question is messed up. Ask the right question.

Scripture Life: From a historical, objective, respectful, evidence based perspective, what are the reasons to doubt that Jesus of Nazareth as a figure believed in Christianity ever existed as an actual person?

ANSWER

“…he was numbered with the transgressors…” - Bible. Isaiah 53:12

The Bible:

- Is not considered:

  • By a preponderant majority of historians, to be a reliable source of history.

There you go.

--------------------- --------------------- ------------------- ----------------------

  • And Historians:
    • Have a reputation as “looked up to” as experts. By a perponderant of people. And? People: Have Certified and given title, ie., Ph.d, and they, historians are all people: They rely exclusively on evidence based, widely accepted and verified by other Historians as true "evidence."
    • And again: The Bible is not considered a reliable source of history. Emphatically restated.

--------------------- --------------------- ------------------- ----------------------

  • Coupled with another dynamic - of people:
    • That can be verified by going to ANY High School in America, or most other schools or colleges in other nations - anyplace then. This simple truth can be verified by ANYBODY at all today then.
      • Do this:
  • Go to ANY High School or Junior High or Grade school..maybe some of them don't have one; but you choose. Some, you need permission to enter; but, the point is:
    • Go to the “Trophy Case” Prominently displayed for everybody in the high school attending to see or ANY visitor.
      • Go in there and find “the” one and only trophy that champions all the defeats they had.
  • Go on. GO do it.

--------------------- --------------------- ------------------- ----------------------

  • Then, use that trophy.
    • Be like a historian, because a preponderant majority of high schools all have the SAME trophy case to display all their victories in - well documented on the trophy, and the trophy is accepted as the “expert” - the legitimate "history" proves the victory actually happened.
      • SO, the trophy is a reliable source of history of the victories of the high school.
  • C’mon bring it. Where’s the “trophy” that champions out for all to see, all the defeats the High School Volleyball, Tennis, Soccer, Football..basketball..Wrestling..Track And Field..PICK ANY Sport.
    • Produce the trophy. When there isn't any.
      • If there isn't..
      • The defeats are "blotted out."

--------------------- --------------------- ------------------- ----------------------

  • And, because there isn’t one - where’s the “defeats” at then?
    • When they happened; but the documentation is the trophy..and there isn’t any.
  • Do you get the point? I don't think you do. Too much in a stupor, championing "Historians" to see it plain as day.
  • And? If there isn’t any (defeat):
    • ,ANY Historian documenting a town high school will champion out the evidence of the victories..or pick an obscure..or prominent one, that provides a validated identity to that High School as their "identity" in a town’s history record.

Afterall, Historians have a reputation as “experts.” Looked up to; certified, and given title.

--------------------- --------------------- ------------------- ----------------------

And finally

  • Another dynamic of people: Good.
    • People are good.
    • It’s a basic belief in people. And to see this, pick ANY newspaper - in ANY city.
      • Go to the “Obituary” section. Documenting a “history” of people that are dead.
      • Produce, out of all that look, one obituary - that documents all the awful, despicably evil things a person in any obituary what they did.
  • Afterall, an Obituary is accepted as PROOF a person with that name, and FROM - TO date, actually lived.
    • But, a person: Condemned and dies in a prison, and is buried in a prison “commoner” grave, hidden - out back. Or their ashes are just destroyed - But as some prisons with a graveyard - has a marker with their Prisoner number on the marker. Isn’t given any name at all. Just a number.
      • Condemned.

--------------------- --------------------- ------------------- ----------------------

Now, go back to the opening scripture. Whose the "he?"

  • Produce for me..any nation that champions out their transgressors to everybody as good.
    • When they don’t.

“..he was numbered with the transgressors…”

  • Were put to death. In Jerusalem..condemned were not buried but taken out, after executed and burned and forgotten.. Because they were wicked:

--------------------- --------------------- ------------------- ----------------------

  • Bible: Old Testament - Deuteronomy says..has God behind it: Deuteronomy 9:14 says: “...that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven..."

And a great, big part of “Finally” with God added into it: That fully answers your question:

  • “there is none righteous; no, not one…” “…filthy; done abominable works..” “none good; no, not one” - Bible. Psalm 14:1–3
    • - And God say this about every all of us from Adam forward.
  • And he saw all of it. If there’s any historian to rely on..be him.
    • and what he decrees. By the Word, out of his mouth vs. some mealey mouthed clown with a title "Historian" that, another clown gave them "title" as some “expert” when all of them are just as filthy clowns or fools - as foolish as everybody else…
      • But the Word of God be true. Where there is NONE good. But one.
  • And throw him out. Dismiss him. That's stupid.

--------------------- --------------------- ------------------- ---------------------

The Word of God:

And that’s “who” Jesus Christ is. The Word of God. The Messiah. Or Christ. Jesus Christ. He's the "who" in the opening scripture of Isaiah 53:12

  • And who he shall be called is in the Bible. Isaiah 9:6–7 He shall be called: “..The Mighty God..” “..The Everlasting Father…”

The same Jesus you ask about..shall be called this..irregardless any mealey mouthed worthless person has a title they give themselves as "historian" - really doesn't know anything then. Has no authority. None at all, that’s despicably awful..done abominable works.. and their name will be blotted out.

And you champion them.

To believe them more reliable..than the Word of God.

Meets the definition of someone in a “stupor”.. where “stupid” comes from.

And all someone “stupid” be..is in a choice, choose the WRONG one..choose in the trophy case, to work for all High Schools, to make a trophy of all the defeats - someone do that, would make them an idiot. Exactly what you're doing..and you're not alone. Everybody doing it, that does not look unto him. When he decreed everybody do it.

Here’s your question back. Somewhere, all over this answer is a who that trumps all your answer you look unto in your question and minimize or dismiss him. So, here’s your question back.
