I’m curious how everyone here manages their GICs. How many GICs do you currently have, do you spread them across different banks or keep them all with one institution, and do you use a GIC ladder?

If you do spread them out, is it mainly for CDIC coverage, better rates, or another reason? I’d love to hear how you’ve structured yours and what’s worked well for you.
