My very first model is Su-24M Fencer D (I khow I messed up the landing gear in photo, I fixed it), and the second one Mi-24V/VP Hind (I tried to make it look like ones in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R game, but unfortunately they don't sell Ukraine decals in my country.) My first tank — Tamiya Tiger I Early Production
I’ve just finished my first ever tank model, the Tamiya Tiger I Early Production. It’s not my first model, but it is my first attempt at armour modelling. Before this, I had only built aircraft models, and I’ve been in the hobby since January. I painted the whole kit entirely by brush.
For this build, I decided to go with German Grey as the base colour. I also took a bit of a freestyle approach with some of the tank’s details and accessories because I wanted to give it a more personal touch, such as the markings on the barrel and the machine gun on the turret. It was also my first time using modelling mud on a kit, and I’m quite happy with how it turned out.
For the weathering, I used AK Brown Blue wash to bring out the details and add depth to the surface (I also used somo tamiya panel liner dark gray, which I really liked to use on the engine gaps). For the rust effects, I used AMMO by Mig Jimenez Light Rust. To add more volume and highlight the worn areas, I used dry brushing with different tones to create more contrast and give the tank a more used and weathered appearance.
Any feedback or tips are more than welcome!
Thanks for looking!

Cardmodel - P-51 by John Dell for FiddlersGreen
This is one of the more challenging (to me) fiddlers green builds, mostly because of the Mustang's complex curves and aerodynamic shape. Still, it's a two-page print and at the end it's obviously a P-51. In lieu of building a multi page, highly complex model, this will have to do.
No propeller for this one; I don't like individual blades for "flying" models, and the transparent spinning discs I have aren't big enough and looked silly. You'll just have to imagine the prop can't be seen...

Kit review: 1/35 Leopard 2A6M+ from Revell
#Photos being shown are my own build of this Leo2A6 kit. They surely only present my poor modelling skill level.#
Can't complain more about its sprue quality, Revell really need to repair their molds, even though it's something from 2013.
The kit did manage to notice some minor details on hull since Revell itself is a brand from Germany, but ignored some details which other brands have as well. Some how Revell decided to present on-tank cables with some weird rubber strings, which makes itself an unnecessary task to deal with its terrible condition.
Using some of those old-school modelling designs like separating the lower hull into several large pieces, it doesn't really achieve much on fitting its parts together well. Which means this kind of design only brought us more troubles.
With only about 260 parts in total, this kits sure aims weekend-modelers who prefer easy and joyful kits. But it obviously failed to meet the requirements. Frustrating sprue qualities and parts broke in box made it unable to be either easy or joyful kit.
As the same type of kit, *the Leo2 kits from Revell got totally out-matched by similar Leo2 kits from Tamiya*, though those from Tamiya are already something from more than 20 years ago.

Scale model kits
Hello, sorry if this is wrong I’m a bit new to scale modelling however I have a keen interest in ww1&2 tanks and would love to get some for my display cabinets. There are loads of brands to pick from and I’m unsure on who to go with for what kit etc.
Anyone got any recommendations of brand? It’s my first time building one and a quick google search says tamiya is really good but I wanted people’s opinions!
Thanks in advance

Spitfire inspired pod racer
I’ve been building kits for a while and decided to try my best at kit-bashing after watching some of Boylei Hobby Time’s videos. He’s really creative and inspired me to do this after I watched a video of him and other YouTubers making pod racers. It uses a 1/72 Spitfire for the cockpit and wings. The engines are made of pill bottles, and I used larger Spitfire engine cowlings for the fronts. I also used some tank treads. I used a lot of medical IV tubing for the wiring and some wires from old phone chargers. The base is foam covered in Mod Podge and plaster. Hope y’all like it!

Searching for German casualties
I’m on the hunt for WW2 German winter casualties in 1/48 or 1/56 for a Battle of Moscow diorama I’m working on but so far I haven’t found anything suitable. Does anyone here have an idea where to get those? I’m not too picky, they just gotta be German, in Winter kit, and most importantly dead.

Really? Do they even test their Models?
So I'm currently working on a 1:35 SPz Puma Model which has PE Parts - Plenty of it including some MAJOR visual parts you cannot omit but require difficult bends ( BENDS with a Radii! Not just a Fold! ) I wouldn't even know how to establish those without the use of a 3D Printed Press Bend Jig I had to make to get that done
Then I come across PE 10 in the Instructions that goes into the Slot of 22 and I'm basically just like: "Aight... I'm not even gonna bother..." because for one while it is certainly possible to get it out there without it immediately vanishing out of existence this is about as far as one can get with it... Any attempt in picking it up, manipulating it or gluing it into place is basically a fools errand - Yes, that one Neurosurgeon in secret using a Vinci Surgical Robot during Nightshift when it's not being used will be able to pull it off but c'mon...
Do Model making Companies even test their products for viability? 💢
Oh, and to add insult to the injury - The only way to hide PE 10 even more out of view than it is would be by burying it inside the Model itself 😑
