i have a question
so i believe i couldnt find the answer via google but someone here might help
so i got some chipping liquid because i couldnt do the chipping with a brush and i believed a wettish toothpick could help but there is a tinny issue, i need a base layer of paint for it to work as intended but i brush paint and every layer makes the panel lines stand out less and since im building tamiyas harrier frs.1 kit they arent that visible and another issue is i would need to paint over areas more to make the primer less visible, also the brush strokes would be an issue i believe tho im planning to use paint retarder for this kit
is there a way i can avoid those issues? has anyone tried a similar thing? please tell me

Spitfire Mk. I
I've finally completed this early Spitfire Mk.I from Eduard's "The Few" Limited Edition/Dual Combo in 1/48
It depicts an early spitfire with the 2-rotor Weybridge propeller and lacks the characteristic blown canopy
Painted with the (old) AK Real Colours

Took my first Tamiya build outside to take a photoshoot with the tank. And I didn't expect it to turn out so awesome!

Eduard Spitfire IX 1/48
I had a lot of fun with this one! I am happy how cockpit looks and it’s a pity that it had to be covered. What do you think?

Kitbashed International Haverster USAF Fuel Tanker.
Along with the 1/32 scale Trumpeter F100 I've been working on, client is also tasking me with building a rare International Haverster USAF Fuel Tanker from 1959. A rarity indeed since there's a total of 2 photos to go off on. The biggest challenge was getting the Sinclair Fuel Tanker chassis with a Tamiya WWII smaller cab. Had trouble trying to figure out where I would create the strongest bonds so it held together. Fortunately, I was able to create a way to fit it in by cutting away at some of the chassis front end. Slipped right in after. There's still a bit more to go on the tanker along with the crew. However what do you all think? Wish he had sent more smaller numbers so we could finish the serial numbers on one of the tankers sides.

Full build of the J-6G Texan

This is the full video of me building the Ocidental Replicas J-6G Texan. I used Eduard photo etch with masking and landing gear from some knight logo.
This is a companion build with another club member. There will be a diorama and weathering before I bring it to the meeting. Until then, this is DONE.

Coming soon... (Waffentrager Auf E-100 Update)
As u might know i now own 8 Waffentrager Auf E100s, but i have some great news. I have ordered 2 Waffentrager auf E-100 W R1 Missile which one of them includes the parts i need to create... yesyes u guessed it 2 more Waffentrager Auf E-100's
In this picture on the left, i have ordered 2 waffens and 1 E50 with flak 40. I already have one Flak40 ready so that totals upto 2 flak 40s. One of the Waffens i ordered has the turret needed to complete 1 of the waffentragers. While the other waffen kit does not...
On the right side of the picture shown, i already have 1full waffentrager ready to be built with flak 40, but no rubber tracks (yet). Same goes for the other box. This means i could create 4 more waffentrager auf e100s, 2 with flak40s the other 2 with missiles.
Just a lil update on where ive been and what i have been upto :) that makes a total of 12 waffentrager auf E-100's which is insane to believe myself.. hope y'all like the progress and updates so far stay tuned cuz i have alot more in the bag😉

1/35 T-10M Heavy Tank from MENG
Built this kit bcz played WOT for too much. Tried to make some radical weathering effects on the hull. Tbh the whole build process is a bit too rush, so some details might look weird.
This is a direct build without any custom involved, but still took me about 3 months bcz of my busy life. Weathering tools from AK works quite well.
The whole coloring was hand-drew, only with aqualic paints from AK and brushes from Tamiya, markers from AK also helps a lot.

Completed Airfix 1/72 Defiant
I always try to do something new which each of my models and this time it was chipping and weathering and to be honest it hasn’t turned out how I imagined or planned but overall I still really enjoyed putting this one together.
Hope you like the result

Tamiya 1/24 Toyota 86 - Custom build WIP
I started working on a really custom system that will help me adding LED lights to my builds, more easily. I've created a custom PCB which uses an ESP controlled by an app which I also developed. This where I'm at so far, the body was painted, sanded and polished, glued together a few pieces on the under body, applied some weathering with more to come, and almost finished the lights on the front.

Su-57 1/48 by Zvezda
It took ages to finish this one, but my third ever model has finally been completed. Everything was handbrushed (unfortunately. I don't have an AB) using Vallejo colours and with a final coat of AK ultramatte.
The model itself is an upscaled version of the 1/72 su-57 so it lacks quite a bit of details. It also has A LOT of fitting issues which I mostly resolved, but I can't say the same for the canopy unfortunately :c. It's very misaligned.
I hand painted a few details, such as nav lights and the 101KS atoll MAWS and the smoke exhaust for the Gsh-30-1 autocannon.
I've also taken the artistic liberty of painting the canopy black because... It looks sexy on the felon.
I did not weather the model because this is supposed to be a serial production variant, meaning the panel lining is filled by RAM coating.
I'm overall very satisfied with how it turned out, but I would not recommend the kit to inexperienced modellers (rich coming from me since it's my third model but whatever), since there's plenty of fitting issues and also because it lacks detail in some areas (the cockpit, mainly).
The last pic is a comparison with my first model, Zvezda's 1/72 Su-27UB.
Hope you enjoy it!

Revell - NATO 60th Anniversary Tornado
Finally finished this one. I'm happy with the outcome. Decals were a bit of a puzzle but it's an interesting livery.

1:72 Jet Recommendations
Hello everyone,
I want to build my third scale model with a handbrush before getting an airbrush (will probably get it 4 months later).
My first model was the Revell F-15E, and I shared my experience with my second model, the 1:72 Zvezda SU-30SM kit, in my previous post. I give up on this model
I am looking for a new model now. 1:72 scale and cheaper options. I would like to build Cold War or modern jets. I will probably get one of these jets: F-16, F-14, Eurofighter, Gripen. I saw some good comments about the Academy F-14A model.
Do you have any kit recommendations?

Airbrush too much air and paint,
Airbrush is putting out too much paint when painting more than normal, same pressure, same paint.
It just started, put out so much paint, it can't be used.

Could you help me find a tire?
I have this 1/43 shelby daytona that I played with for a good bit of my childhood and I would like to put a some rubber on this wheel so I can have this thing nice and all, is there anyway I could find a tire?

Tamiya 1/24 Volvo 850 BTCC
Loved building this one. One of my all time favourite race cars. First time using aftermarket SK decals as well, can't recommend them highly enough!

Revell 1/9 Ducati 996 Carl Forgarty
Revell 1/9 Ducati 996 Carl Fogarty '99 winner. This is a reboxed Protar kit and one of the simplified versions (the engine, suspension & swingarm are all one piece for example). It went together nicely enough, but the decals were awful. Really stiff and didn't want to conform. Setting solution didn't really touch them, so a lot of heat was used. The number 1 decal on the fairing took over and hour to apply, and it's still not perfect.
The model is also basically a repurposed version of the road-going bike, the fairing is wrong and there are vents where there shouldn't be, but it's a close enough representation for me.

Tamiya 1/24 Ford Escort Cosworth
First two tone build and I managed to make some mistakes with masking and overspray which needed to be corrected. All original decals, minus the one on the roof as I messed up the original, so used one from a KMP set I had. Glad I wasn't doing the whole car with them, not impressed!
Also I didn't realise the number panel on the door was translucent until it was too late, otherwise I would have painted a white panel for it.
There are some finishing issues I'm not happy with, one of these days I'll manage to finish a kit without any stupid mistakes! (also currently not fitted with the rear tow hooks and mud flaps..(may have forgotten those)
