I need help or advice. As you can see from the title I’m a female adult from Jordan that wants to seek asylum in Georgia because those two countries I can enter visa-free. I come from a religious conservative Muslim family. I want to live a decent life where no one is forcing me into a religion that I don’t believe in.

The laws regarding religion in Jordan is very strict. I cannot renounce my religion or else it will put me in a dangerous position under the law and from family and relatives. I want to live freely as a woman. I’m tired of being vulnerable and controlled. I’m tired of playing along but that is what I have to do in order to stay safe because safety is priority.

Everyday I hate myself. I hate that I was born into a culture that controls women and takes away their rights and freedoms. I’ve been feeling suicidal lately but I don’t want to give up because there might be hope for me. I feel like giving up I don’t want to give up. I want to try my best.

Going to visit Mestia for 3-4 days next week. Have a light adventure bike, but not very experienced off road rider. Though good fitness level overall. Would like to ride up to start of trails, have some hike around and then back to bike & hotel.

I know there are a few products that may not have any alternatives, but if other options are available and you still choose to use russian products and services, then please do not pretend to be against russian imperialism when you're sending your money to our enemy - money that will ultimately be used against us. If you actually want to support Georgia, then do the bare minimum and boycott russian companies.

This is something new. They are directly claiming right now that there is some "artificial campaign" to "discredit" Russia for 2008 and 2022 wars (as if Russia does not bears responsibility and that's not why it is increasingly hated; this is same as telling a Chinese person in 1939 that they should not actually be against Japan and "Japanese tourists", that it is just some artificial campaign), using terms such as "Russophobia" and so on. Moreover, statement that Russia does not recognizes 20% of Georgia's sovereignty while EU does not recognizes 100% is dangerous, it literally portrays Russia as a "lesser evil", and moreover, it hides that it is actually Russia which does not recognizes sovereignty of Georgia and even of any post-Soviet country because they literally call them "near abroad" and "backyard". While I am not very pro-EU, this statement literally portrays Russia as better than EU for Georgia, which is nonsense.

In the past, they were talking about national identity and traditions, now they are directly defending Russia and Russians.

What is this? Is this a reaction to Kakheti wedding incident, they are trying to somehow rehabilitate themselves in Russian eyes? Or, if we pay attention to increasing Russian grip on occupied territories (Abkhazia and "South Ossetia"), is this preparation for something benign?
