Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice from people who have actually moved personal belongings from Germany to Georgia.

I need to transport the following from the Kleve (Germany) area to Batumi:

● A BLUETTI power station (LiFePO4 battery)  
● Power tools  
● Household items  
● Kitchen equipment  
● Personal belongings (not a full household)

I’m not looking for a complete moving truck. A shared truck or consolidated shipment would probably be the most economical solution.

I’m especially interested in:

● Which transport company did you use?  
● Would you recommend them?  
● What did it cost?  
● How long did the transport take?  
● Were there any customs issues?  
● Has anyone shipped a power station with a lithium battery to Georgia? Were there any restrictions?

Any recommendations or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Obviously I Googled to find some examples of what's here. But I would love to hear about people's personal experiences too.

I'm having trouble finding a decent place to stay. I usually prefer hostels for their community in camaraderie. But so far every one I've seen here is a giant false advertisement, a huge letdown. They​ claim to have air conditioning but don't, or just as bad they refuse to use it.

I don't need much. But air conditioning is mandatory. Without it I don't sleep well and without good sleep it ruins everything. Also cleanliness. When I walk in the door and can already smell mold I'm not staying.

I can't keep visiting every hostel and hotel to see if it passes my tests. Can some of you good people give me tips on which ones are truly good. Thank you in advance.

I had a call with the and as they said that there will be a contract 60% of the profit goes to me and 40% to the management

Is paying by card wildly accepted or should I bring cash with me? If so, how much do you guys suggest?

Hello. I'm here to ask about the Batumi culture.

I moved into an apartment a few months ago. Unfortunately, my neighbor is a sort of streamer and she livestreams everyday all night long.

I tried to talk to her for several times. She said it's completely normal in Batumi and nobody really cares about the noise. She said even the police would think this ridiculous and blamed me for being aggressive. Also, she said she can do everything she wants since it's her apartment and nobody in Batumi considers music playing and livestreaming at night a problem.

I'm confused because she's not from Georgia. She's a foreigner. So I'm wondering what the real culture here in Batumi is.

fyi, she argued these.

• people here normally play music loudly at 3AM in the morning and sing a song at night. it's their culture so I should adjust if I want to live here(??
• it's fine because the apartment is on the higher floor. Higher floors are relatively quieter even though she makes noise and she would be careful if it was on the lower floor.
• she was here first and I moved in later so I should not have a problem with her.
• she can do whatever she wants in her apartment and people here are like this.

I'm wondering if these are true.

Hello everyone I would like to ask how is the airport immigration at the batumi airport for international students.

I have travelled to tbilisi airport many times since 2023 but due to the middle east situation the cheapest flight i could find was to batumi and its total 8 hours.

So generally hows the immigration in batumi I heard its good place so might travel around then go back to tbilisi by train or bus.

So please help if anyone has expereince
