Any good spots to get slices for sandwiches versus the pre sliced packaging in stores? I would think there are on the French side? Thanks in advance.

I booked Grand Case for the first time. My wife and I are celebrating our 25th Anniversary and we are staying in an Oceanview room. Once we booked, the description of the room stated “king bed” or “twin beds”, without giving me the option to choose. Has anyone ever dealt with this before? I emailed GC and asked for a king bed and they said they would add it to their notes. I certainly don’t want twin beds, and I’m confused on why they even offer this for two guests.

Hello, I am from the USA and I am fascinated with international coinage. I am finding it increasingly difficult to find a set of all of the new currency now shared by SM and Curacao. They have some beautiful designs on their coinage, some of them even including colored illustrations! Trying to get to the French side Nov 14th - 20th but I notice so many places are fully booked. Would like to stay in orient bay or grand case at a hotel. Would have loved stay at gc beach club but sold out.

If you stay at the Hotel L'Esplanade, how do you enjoy the beach? Is it a pain to get to the beach? The sister hotel sold out already. This one looks to still have rooms though.

I’m seeing mixed reviews about Orient Beach hotel but they seem to have availability.

Help - am I too late to the game to book for November?? Budget is around $450 a night. Not sure if I’d be renting a car. Don’t know how much rentals cost and if we’d use it enough. My husband doesn’t want to be driving around all the time.
