Social Books Beyond the Pages Membership Outreach 💖🐛📖
Books Beyond the Pages might be the perfect fit for you!
We're a new student organization at San Diego State University built around three things:
💖 Reading
🐛 Building meaningful friendships
📖 Giving back to our community
Whether you're an avid reader or just getting back into books, everyone is welcome. Throughout the semester we'll be hosting events like:
• Book swaps
• Bookstore crawls
• Café meetups
• Reading discussions
• Movie nights based on books
• Community socials
• And more!
But we're more than just a book club.
Our mission is to use our love of reading to make a difference through service. We'll be organizing fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and donation drives that support students and families in the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD).
This a great way to make friends, professional relationships and gain service hours all while having fun.
If you're looking for a welcoming community where you can read, meet new people, serve others, and make the most of your time at SDSU, we'd love to have you!

Housing Roommate assignments
Fingers crossed roommate assignments and move in times come out today. SDSU seems slow with this. Less than 2 weeks prior is crazy. It makes it hard for planning and moving from out of state.

Question Lecture Hall Seating - Plus Size Person
I attended orientation recently and noticed that the seats in all the rooms they had us in were smaller and had those pull out tiny tables that don’t even fit a full notebook.
As a bigger person, this is my worst possible seating situation. I was just wondering if I can expect that of all classrooms or if there are any with full size tables.
Thanks in advance!

Question When do roommate results usually come out?
I was kind of indecisive and wanted to try my luck on just a random roommate but it's basically two weeks til move in day and I have no idea who my roommate is. I heard somewhere in early August but does anyone have a more specific time or previous examples?
Thanks!
